Thanks for a short, to the point video. I assume you're powering a PA12 from the video and I also assume that you are testing with nearly zero river current and wind assist. I do believe you might improve very slightly if you flatten your fins against the hull when not using, or remove the drive maybe. I've been running my Native Slayer Propel 13 (8 yrs old) with the NK300 for about 6 months. On nearly flat water as in your video I have gotten in the 6.7 to 7.0 range at full power - but it only takes 75 to 80% to stay at 6 mph. Lately, I've been finding windy conditions and a light chop - that can definitely take 1/2 mph off of your top speed. Also, you can run that motor all day on the 36V40AH battery at 75% power. I hope to test it soon on my ATAK 120 - expect good things.
I was testing it from a PA 14 but yeah, I haven’t really used it too much on a full river trip. I’ve came into a mouth from a lake into a river that was more deeper water and had some pretty good and it did just fine. Hold them myself in place the most thing that I’m just impressed about is the water that you can cover with it and don’t have to worry about sitting in one area
That’s a really good question I really don’t have to answer to lol my pack is light as possible. Any trip I go on whether it’s a tournament or just going out to fish, I know that doesn’t help but I really don’t have an answer for that!
Wow thats pretty good. Do they allow you to use your own battery yet? Or are they still requiring their proprietary battery only? I gotta check that one out also. Just picked up the NK300 for my titan 12 super excited

Impressive journey with the Newport Vessels NK-300 Electric Motor (Speed Trial). Have a great weekend✨💖
Nice! How much weight (boat+you+equipment) do you think the motor is pushing?

Hello, with the charge indicator on the controller at 0%, what voltage does the controller indicate?
New Torqeedo travel will hit 7.6 MPH.
Everything is all weight dependent on too…

It should, for the huge price. I went with the Newport NK300 to save over $1000 for my motor/battery combo.
It can't go over the haul speed
