I watched slow boat fishing channel tournament yesterday and today came across your video i think it’s awesome to be able to share together a spot and fish together even in a tournament. Great vid sir, you definitely got a sub from me! I have the same setup and I want to get the Newport 300 but I’m concerned about the weight. Have you had any issues with this setup being too heavy? Also what’s the approximate weight of your yak fully rigged? Thanks in advance!

Question: On the NK300, you have it offset mount, assuming so that you can keep your rudder for your pedal drive. Does the NK300 lock into a non-swivel mode, or did you have to do something special to keep it in line?

oh that explains why I couldn't turn left as easily as right with the same navarre mount and pdl 120. Now I popped on one of those small flat metal pieces that fit into aluminum tracks and that feels secure and can turn left! thanks.😎

If you’re gonna hold the bass anyway but verticals by it’s lip, put a hand under its belly. You don’t lip a bass and then hold it up on an angle like that
