On my last day in Jamaica i decided to explore the whole city. After finding out kamilas kitchen was closed i headed down to hero’s circle and had some cow skin and chicken foot soup which turned out to be my favorite soup so far! Jamaican food is absolutely amazing if you haven’t had any i suggest you try it. After this i went on a short tour around Kingston visiting some of the sights i had on my bucket list and eating along the way. I take a short stroll around the art district and have another one of Jamaicas best ice cream spots, Devon house. Then we finish the day with checking out the national stadium and having some of the best vegan food in the world. Would you visit Kingston?

Bro. Thank you for showcasing our island. I love your content fam and here to see you grow.
Bless up!
I appreciate you being here from the start. I don’t think I’m done yet
I have had a large crab before, it was delicious and spicey. Jamaica is a Christian country so they are a segment of the population that worship on Saturdays (Adventist) and many many worship on Sundays. The most wordly people will play gospel and go to church on Sunday mornings. LOL!
Our customer service is HORRIBLE!!!! As a Jamaican i always say our country needs to be shut down for a month for proper customer service training! It is sickening. I am a jamaican and it annoys me!
😂😂 a month down for training ? lol yea okay
That is not just Jamaica. Cough Bahamas….

Hi young man I'm from South Africa
Absolutely brilliant video. So enjoyed travelling with you. Yes, you have to come back. Every year the high schools hold their games at the National Stadium. Those impressive houses overlooking the stadium are in the exclusive community called Beverly Hills. The name says it all. Peace brother and safe travels 🙏
Thank you for the kind words and the information!
Yessss want you to come back . You did absolutely well.
Thank you i think i will
Thanks for sharing. I hope you return to Jamaica. Safe travels as you go on to your next adventure.
Yes PoJo the high schools all over Jamaica compete at that stadium. The boys and girls have separate competitions. It’s called boys champs and girls champs.
Wow that would be awesome to run in that stadium 💪🏽 thanks for the information 👌🏽
@@PoJoTheBackPacker
That’s where all these track stars got their start in large competitions, including Bolt.
Boys and Girl's Champs are held at the stadium every year. It's is the biggest track and field event in the region. Nothing like it! You must go back for it next year.
I loved your vlogs in Jamaica 🇯🇲. You showed the real Jamaica, and we appreciate you. I feel the need to save and visit the island,as you showed places I have never been to, and it was amazing. Thankyou 😊

Come back again PoJo! It was so much fun watching you. Time to do some hiking up the Blue Mountains.
I think i will I’d like to see the blue mountains
Loving all your videos! You definitely gotta go back!
Okay i will!
Yes do comeback, you are always welcome. The South Coast of Jamaica has a lot to offer too. Visit Treasure Beach and take a boat out to Pelican Bar (Bar in the middle of the Caribbean Sea), Appleton Estate Rum tour (Jamaica has the first ever female master blender in the world-Joy Spencer), Y.S. Falls and Black River Safari (See the crocs), Holland Bamboo Avenue and Lover's Leap and hear the history of the lovers that died there- all of which are in St. Elizabeth. Then on to Blue Fields beaches and Negril 7miles beach in Westmoreland. There are also a lot more to see in Portland, such as Reach Falls (I personally find it majestic there) and Somerset Falls, Nanny Falls, Fish Dunn Falls and Nonsuch Falls (Jamaica's highest waterfalls) and there are soooo much more. The best recommendation for a food tour would be to link with @JamaicaFoodBoss. Thank you for visiting and sharing your travels around Jamaica with us. I watched every minute of it. Thank You!!!!!
I’m going to screenshot your msg for reference later
Great vlog soup looks good also 😋

Legendary brother you did that! 5k is CRAZY wow you had 3k last time I seen
Aye thank you my bro i appreciate you 👌🏽
Sir, the funniest thing, I have never heard my parents mentioned Bob Marley.
Yo i hear all Jamaicans talk about bob Marley you lying 😭
You enjoying the ice cream on the Kingston Harbour... I'm overdue a visit.
You must visit i love the harbour
The customer service is a known problem. Trust me, we are well aware. It's a running joke (funny, but NOT funny). We definitely need to work on it.
Yo i walked into a Wendy’s late night you could cut the tension with a machete 😂 the one girl just sat down in a chair on the side of the counter while taking my order and then yelled my order to the back. And then when i went to hand her money she just sucked her teeth and gave me the dirtiest look 😂 but 9/10 i have had good service here in Jamaica it’s just those select few 😂😂
Wow! Thank you for showcasing my “little island in the sun”. You did an amazing job, and I hope you return… Are you planning on visiting Belize? 🙏🏿

Pojo i wish you had gone to Heroes Circle and check out the monuments there, I've never seen a UA-camr done that b4.
Boys and girls championship is an annual event held i believe march each year.
I’ll add it to my list!
@PoJo, yes boys and girls champs are held in the national stadium. Usain is still the fastest man on earth in both the 100 and 200 meters.
Yes he’s probably still in tip top shape
Yes Jamaican national and school sprinters practice there.
Very nice
Hey Jamaica has the record for the most churches per square mile.... Yet another thing that makes this country very special
Yea that’s absolutely crazy to me haha
@@PoJoTheBackPacker yeah and Usain Bolt is still the world's fastest man in the 100m and 200m 😁
Jamaica is awesome, but I think you should start exploring countries in South America. I know you would love it and make great videos there. There is SO much to see and experience in South American countries, it's insane lol... I'm even helping convince my parents to retire and live in some country in South America, but we're not sure which one yet. (We're from USA) I might even take my daughter down there and live with them too. Anyways, that's just my thought about your next adventures. Peace! ✌
What do you think are some good places in South America ?
@@PoJoTheBackPacker Honestly, I would just go either north to south or south to north and travel every country. They are all very welcoming to foreigners.
Yes come back in July 🎉👍❤️

Yes PO. The youth also run at the stadium.
Very interesting imma have to show up one day and smoke some kids on the track 😂

“Caaan soup” “oh CORN” 😅😅😂😂
Lmao i feel so dumb when i repeat what they said lol
Or when i don’t understand them lol
Yeah man forsure bro, you know your always welcome. Safe flight home though.
I appreciate it
Yes come back in July: when in Portland go to Roots 21 restaurant, a lot of tourists go there, go to Somerset Falls and Reach Falls, go rafting on the Rio Grande from up river to down river.
I think in Ocho Rios or Montego Bay you can go swimming with the dolphins at Dolphin Cove, there is also a island vibe theme park in Ocho Rios called Mystic Mountain.
In Kingston there is the best seafood spot in Jamaica called Gloria's at Port Royal. Port Royal is also a big historial spot from way back in the pirate days. There is also Hellshire Beach in St. Catherine close to Kingston, which is a famous spot. There is also a mini mall in the more upscale part of Kingston called the Sovereign Centre, which has Cafe Blue and a super dope Chinese restaurant and a movie theatre. And there is Hope Gardens which is very beautiful and a part of it is called Hope Zoo, which has a bistro bar and grill. You can also visit the universties UWI and UTech. There is a weekly Sunday event called Dub Club where musicians can pass through. The is a poetry spot called Bookophilia, which has a cafe.
I will check this out. The universities sound interesting 🤔
I’m going to screenshot this comment

No what is upscale Montego Bay? I’ll stay in the backpacker part and walk around there tho if I’m Able to
Yes customer service is a big problem here in Jamaica. U do find a few places that deal with people good.
