Sym Maxsym 400 - Performance Test

- Before I take the 2021 Sym Maxsym 400 back to the showroom I had to do on more test with it. Some acceleration testing with the best I could do for what you would call proper measuring equipment. In the video you will see 0-20, 0-50, 0-80, 0-100, 0-120Km/h as well as 1/8 of a mile time and 1/4 of a mile time. The results surprised me a little, they where not quite what I was expecting.

That acceleration data sounds realistic to me. For comparison, a Kymco Xciting S 400 have 0-50 2,7s, 0-80 6,1s and 0-100 9,8s (testet by a famous german scooter-print-magazine). Greetings from Germany 👋
I don't know how precise my phone is but I intedt all future tests to be done with the same phone and the same app so at least I can compare between then and get an ideea of how fast each one is.

Ca si consum in jur de 4%, inconvenient nu pot spune pentru ca din ce am apucat sa merge pe el mie mi-a placut, poate as fi vrut mai mult loc la picioare pt drumuri lungi
50 and 80 are incredibly fast, but 100 chokes hard. Weird, I'm sure I saw somewhere that it did 100 sub 6 sec. Oh well, still pretty good.
If you look at the dash then yes probably 6 seconds to 100. The speedometer as it is on all motorcycles is very optimistic. I had to get to over 130 on the dash to register 120 on GPS. Every single motorcycle/scooter I have ridden from any manufacturer the speedometer shows 10-15 km/h more then your real speed.
