- Before the summer was over we decided to invite some Sym maxi scooter owners for a little 250km day trip through the mountains. Because my ST isn't a maxi scooter and Alp is not a Sym I decided to take the Maxsym 400 since it still had a few days left of it's temporary registration and see how it feels on a long distance trip. Dear Alex: You are 5,951 air miles from where (I / we live), kinda sorta in Oregon. It was so wonderful to ride with you this morning 2 years after your “original” part 1 ride on the Sym 400. For a soon to be 76 year old being, how you ride with what you have reminds me so much of myself & wife & how we created our own adventures with what we had, (at the time)? When it starts it seems a 50cc then things change completely 😊
It sounds good when you give it some decent throttle, problem is it accelerates really fast and you quickly jump over the speed limit :))))
