Do you think there’s any improvement on the performance side of things for this? Would love to see if there’s any improvement in 60ft and 0-60 etc. great insurance mod tho I’d imagine
If the diff mounts are bad as in worn out, would they cause vibration to the cabin while on D or R even after having new motor mounts and a new trans mount?
@@EJR20 I'm re-reading this, hmmm I mean usually diff mounts aren't a frequent point of failure specifically on these cars. The inserts are really to beef up the drive train under hard launches. Would be tough to diagnose the vibration you may be experiencing in D/R as there are so many factors. If you replace any factory runner mounts with polyurethane/stainless steel that too will contribute to more vibration. If you want the smoothest operation stick to oem rubber mounts. Maybe check to ensure tires are balanced and you don't have any bent wheels or bad wheel bearings. I hope that helps.
@@savagepandaprojects sure does! So my motor mounts and trans mount were oem standards, didn’t get any upgrades. I get the mean vibration while stationary and in reverse it’s a little bit worse. So basically all motor and transmission mounts and new oem I don’t know what else could cause the vibration while in gear. A little history is, before I replaced any of the mounts even start up and shutdown was rough, I then did the motor mounts and it improved a tiny bit esp in D/R, hoped the trans mount would do it but there was no improvement after the trans mount really. So I’m thinking could an intake problem cause this vibrations while stationary and in gear?
@@EJR20 is this on a 2015+? How many miles on the car? That is strange. Oem engine and Transmission mounts should only stand to help. Definitely check to see if tires are balanced. Would recommend taking to a shop like ours that has a road force machine. Again check to make sure no wheels are bent. Would also make sure you don't have any other problems with the front End. I've just never heard of any differential failures on the A3/S3. Usually more prone to the bigger sedans with all that V8TT power and hard launches.
Finally someone doing precautionary measures and not just power mods
Yes sir!
Love the new logo. Cant wait for some merch to come out ;)
Nice nice, just did these along with my new subframe hoping they're worth the purchase!
Yeah man! Always a good way to beef everything up! Especially with that power your making 😉
I think iv done one too many launches on mine. Iv got a humming noise from the diff and it gets worst as you speed up. New diff it is
Nice upgrade 👍🏼

Yes, better transfer of power. Less unwanted movement from the rest diff. Etc
Very nice mod mate..
Does it feel a bit ruff? Making the car stiff means also feeling a lot more of the road. So how bad?
Nah actually didn't even notice it was there!
Do you have any launch control 0-60 and 1/4 videos on your channel? I can't seem to find them
Here you go ua-cam.com/video/hqBKjj3Ek-o/v-deo.html

These did not cause any increase in NVH. Aftermarket engine mounts, pendulum, dogbone mounts however will.
@@savagepandaprojects thanks for your response, however it wasn’t answering the question I had asked :)
Kindly.
