hell yeah, highly recommend 034's dynamic + ECU/TCU tunes for the S3 , I am very satisfied with mine. It has the low end grunt , while it is very linear with power delivery, very OEM+ like with tons of boost lol
Amazing upgrade for the money right? Just got mine done yesterday( upper and lower 034 doggone inserts) and to sum it up the car feels like everything works in sync in a more direct and firm matter, I feel like all my inputs get immediate and satisfying response out of the drivetrain. I can feel it most under load with high RPM shifts , the car just effortlessly "shoots forward" perfectly . It makes the transition between gears smooth like butter. The minor vibrations I got used to very quickly also, you can also feel it on a slight incline, but honestly that little extra NVH is satisfying to me, Its like I am connected to the engine almost . I ended up going with 034 motorsports stage 1 dynamic ECU and ECU tune finally. My local indie Audi guy swears by them and recommended them to me, he has stage 2 E 85 034 on his TTRS and said it is the "goldilocks" of the tunes compared to his previous APR, unitronic and IE tunes. I am truly loving my S3 now. Thanks man I really appreciate all your content , keep them coming. These cars are so enjoyable to drive, I can't get enough of even stage 1 lol.
Great to hear it all man! This mod was so worth it! The downshifts feel insane now like instant. I should have absolutely done this a while ago. Glad you did it too. For the price it’s so worth it. I’m getting small vibrations here and there but it’s not even that noticeable at all so I’m super satisfied
Do 034 dynamic street mounts that are 70 durometer rubber. They work amazing with the rear motor mount inserts. I have them in my Golf R for 2yrs and no issues.
I don’t even wanna think of having to do that lol. That’s why If it doesn’t go just reposition and try it again. By hand it will thread without any friction
Ohh I’m going for 10s man haha, I should be able to crack high 10s full weight and hoping for like 10.6-10.7 with some weight reduction. I should be trapping in the 130-132 range like most people. I wanna go full weight first as a reference and then start shedding weight to see!
@@DArias can’t wait I’m estimating 127-129 full weight just basing on your videos so far we’ll see what your new mods are coming up. I’m excited for you been waiting for you to go to the drag strip for a while now. I forget what tire your running but if it’s street tires I say low 11. But who knows!!!
Rn on I’m extreme contacts but I’ve been able to do a 1.6 60ft with worse kumho tires last year. With less wheel hop now because of the inserts I’m expecting to be able to do an easy 1.6 and hopefully the back half of my run is good enough. Again I’m thinking I could get in the 130 trap range and a high 10 as in but if not just gotta pull some weight out and go again!
You can do the lower one only if you’d like but highly recommended to do both. Puts a bit more stress on everything with the lower only. Best to have them work together to stiffen everything up!
I gotta take mine out and reinstall it. My mk8 gti feels like a track car nvh. I’ve had the insert in my mk6 and mk7 and it was not even close to this harsh. I think it might be misaligned or something
This Sunday the 19th is opening day here and it’s gonna be sunny but only 43 degrees so let’s see if they open or not (I’m doubting it for it being too cold)
Late to the party, but I've been looking at doing this mod for my 2012 Jetta TDi, can't help but wonder if the vibration from the diesel would be bearable. Anyone out there done this mod on a TDI and care to provide feedback?
Wheel hope will happen without mounts. I had so much wheel hop it was bad lol. These mounts def cleared it up and I can confidently say 0 wheel hop now. Was able to get multiple 1.7 60fts on very used tires. I’m sure I can cut consistent 1.6 with some new rubber. Plus much safer for the drivetrain
Nice man! E30 is a nice bump from 93. You will absolutely notice a difference especially in top end power. Typically you see about a 30-40 hp gain with e30
That’s correct, ethanol is very knock resistant. So if you run an ethanol blend essentially it’s safer to make more power with the positive or less knock resistance
Really? So far I barely have any just on takeoff from a stop. People say as it breaks in all together it becomes better too. All you did was the upper and lower like I did?
Hopefully doesn’t happen to me then! I’ll see how it is going forward. Luckily isn’t my daily so I’m ok dealing with a bit extra things coming from this car but overall don’t want it to be annoying
@@DArias it don’t sound like yours will have that issue . Mine was very evident. But idk, I did not use new bolts . I might try it back on again with new bolts for sure this time lol.
For everyone watching. They tell you they are one time use bolts but they are not. You will never have an issue reusing them, i guarantee it. But nothing wrong with replacing them.
For a $10 set of bolts it’s better for peace of mind lol especially when they are marketed as one time use but like I mentioned reusing a few times shouldn’t be an issue
Totally agree with you. If it’s only one or two times I would definitely reuse them, unless threads are damaged. More than twice for a peace of mind just replace it. 👍🏻
Installed with new bushings and the car vibrates like crazy. Removing.
034 has some of the best stuff on the market
Absolutely! I’m slowly using more of their products. I have their rear sway bar, springs and now their mounts. Can’t wait to use more of their stuff

Finally, so happy you did this I’m sure the car feels so much smoother now
It’s great! Thank you

Great video. This mod is absolutely worth every penny
Thank you, and yep I agree!
I have just lower dogbone from 034. I do have a little more vibration at idle, but nothing too major.
I have a very small amount which I don’t mind especially since I don’t daily the car!
Awesome upgrade. Will help tons with hop and some spin and the car will feel much more sporty
It’s been great so far!
I’m sure the car feels even better now. Good mod
So much better man

Nice! How is the nvh??
Fantastic content again and again
Thank you man!
Put this in my 19 a3, and I get a good shudder/vibration when coming to a stop. Probably going to remove them.
A great mod indeed
Mad at myself for not doing this a while ago lol
Excellent mention on the forcing of parts. Rethreading into the transmission is one of the worst and none fun things you can go through
I don’t even wanna think of having to do that lol. That’s why If it doesn’t go just reposition and try it again. By hand it will thread without any friction
Great install video man. Any other thoughts so far since posting if you’ve driven the car
Any updates on the mount ive heard they bend over time because they are aluminum
Are you considering motor mounts and trans mounts next?
Looking into them actually so we will see!
That race car feel.
Very informative video, thank you. I wanted to ask if it reduced wheel hop on harder acceleration at all?
sounds like lubing skills are up to par.
What are you hoping to run low 11s with your setup? Can’t wait for the drag strip video I’m more performance kinda person.

is it just as noticiable with a manual?
Is the upper needed? Can I get away with just the lower?

Will this vibration disappear after a while of driving or its gonna stays there forever unless u remove it ?

Will this fit on a 22’gli?
when are you taking it to the track

you can do this install with just ramps ?

Hows the quality since you installed the 034 springs?
Springs are fantastic. Once I put some miles on it the car drove even better. If you have magride these imo are the best springs to get
did it stop wheel hop?
Is it normal to get wheel hop? I’m stage 2 eqt and just got brand new michelin ps4s and still get wheel hop at launch. Need to get these mounts

Will be good for manual polo gti ?
Would be a great upgrade but you would have to buy the appropriate one for your car and I’m not sure if 034 makes it for the polo or not
I got tired of the nvh on mine so I end up taking off after a year. Can’t really hear it on yours though.
Really? So far I barely have any just on takeoff from a stop. People say as it breaks in all together it becomes better too. All you did was the upper and lower like I did?
