My wife has been concerned because I've been staring at my phone in a dark corner of the house. I said don't worry, I've just discovered Deboss Garage 😁. I'm enjoying the channel catching up on older video. I really like this car. well done👌
If your wife is like mine, she just rolls her eyes and asks why you cant just watch porn like a normal person. haha
😂😂😂👌👌👌🤙🤙🤙
Man she can't be mad at some footage like this.
Beautiful Beast of a Car!!! Great WORK as Usual!
Same here 🙋🏾♂️🙋🏾♂️🙋🏾♂️
I've become a hermit watching guys like you work. I can't wrench anymore and watching you gives me the same feeling I had when I could. Thanks for that.
it's much better on the sidelines armchair coaching, whilst eating popcorn and imbibing. no grease(except the popcorn butter), no dirt, no muck, cannot get wet nor shocked....
unless you spill your drink or stab thing in a nearby outlet lol
Epic.... Totally outclassed Hot Rod Garage and Roadkill at the same time... Congrats man. What an amazing adventure.
This car led me to find Deboss Garage about 4 years ago. I have enjoyed watching her come to life. Great job!
Rick Cottrell thanks for sticking around to see it complete 👍
DEBOSS GARAGE I hope you do another GTO, maybe a 70
@@DEBOSSGARAGE love the vid. You're a bad man
Love the music with the GTO intro. You made the car what it truly is: The Darling Of The Road
I pity the poor fool who downvotes this. This car is so much better than the day it left the factory. I love the valve covers, even if they aren't crinkle red (TurboYoda). Aaron got an AA++ on this edit. Everyone involved gets an AA++... except the 400 rebuilder. Great excuse to bump it up to the 455. What a beast. You must be so pleased. You created a better than OG GOAT.
i PiTy tHe PoOr fOoL WhO dOwNvOtEs ThIs.
Simple project.... Only took 19 minutes... bang out another one for me please
Claimed 15...
I'd forgotten just how much rust that thing had. Great job!
So you basically built a GTO from scratch.
cnrmoose Like twice.
Well, you got to start somewhere....
+
Even more work than that.
If we want them to survive then it has to be done
Awesome car! What a journey...thanks for taking us along for the ride.
Really though!
MotionAuto, now Deboss, hope you get the same 100,000+ subs he did, you both did great work on these cars
You guys are America.
The old America. When men were men and quality meant everything. Attention to the most tiniest detail.
I support your channel 100%
The sad part is watching all the time you put into the first engine and knowing it’s no good.
Great looking car.
Thanks for the build videos I think I have watched all of them and was kind of unsure it would ever get done for a while.
I admire your ability to push yourself to finish a project like this. Your talent shows By the way I owned 9 GTO;s and the 66, 67 was my favorite.
Been watching for years. Still the nicest build.
The stance, the color, the engine, and all the goodies on that Goat make it one badass hot rod! Congrats on an incredible build fellas, thanks for showing us the effort on what it takes to build a piece of art.
I think it's so nice that the cat helped 😊
Let me get this straight. You won't take out a loan to buy a car but you will build something priceless from scratch. Sounds like a recipe for success to me.
Hell yea. Ol' School card are an investments. Its never a loss, unless you just let it rot away in the yard, or crash it. lol
Chip Foose build by one person. Unbelievable effort. Great job on filming and editing Aaron. Projects that are beyond the reach of most in talent and funds is what brings me back. I can learn and use parts to keep my projects moving along. Thanks Rich, Aaron and Stefan.
Chip Foose is a great inspiration to me. Got to meet him last year and chill with him over a beer. Best day every. Although, I might have been fanboying a bit....
"Yeah.. And this was their mid-sized car". 😂😂😂
Dang brotha!!! So I know restomods and all other types of rebuilds are a dime a dozen these days, but this car received so much care and attention, with no corners cut, that it is 100% better than when it left the production line in 1967. Again, there are lots out there, but this was not rushed in any way and EVERY detail given attention and finessed til perfect. So many channels have vids on their builds, but very few are done single handed (basically)...
SO MANY are in a rush, and the proof is in the pudding here Rich. Well friggen done. Def one of the smartest (common sense and technical) builders out there. Best looking car I have seen in a LONG ass time.
When I was a kid I built a model of the '67 GTO and sprayed it the same beautiful green. Thanks for the memories!
That car turned out so GREAT, you did all of it! My only question is; what's your next 5 year project?
I love this car. a friend of mine had a gold 67' convertible back in the 80's. that was a great car until he totaled it. thank you for sharing yours.
A lot of labor and love goes into a build like that
Freaking Amazing Build Boss! Master Re-builder!
I sat and watched you guys install the engine at summit raceway (white sprinter RV) and I have watched all the videos of the GTO plus most of the other vids as well . That was a very stressful day for you especially the break-in run. The car is just so beautiful and your talent as an Artist and True Mechanic is just absolutely astounding. Thank you for taking the time to meet with me and I would love to see that 1973 Ohio License Plate hung up at the shop some day... Many Blessings , SMR
Awesome meeting you, the licence plates are on display on the shop
I love deboss garage because he is so dam honest and tells it how it is. Unlike those old dudes who take a old chevy engine clean it up throw an RV cam in it and spray pain it orange with headers and they sit back and go (This thing makes 450 HP) so many old dudes do that shit I just laugh.
I had seen the power tour vids, then went back to the beginning. Was slowly working my way through the vids. This definitely helped answer why you had a 400 then a 455!
That was the most valiant effort I've ever seen to have a car running by a certain show deadline, but now that that's over and you've had time to actually sort out and button up everything it sure is nice to see.
Thanks to you, and watching you since 960 subscribers, I became highly knowledgeable in Cummins engines, and my grandfathers '69 Camaro is now mine, and has been fully restored and beefed up to slap in my rebuilt to everything brand new 5.9 12V in it! We have the engine trans, pedals, shifter, hot and cold side done the for Bald eagle breather, driveshaft and rear axle done, just need to wire and plumb it all in! This project is 5 years in the making ever since He gifted the car and engine to me for my birthday 5 years ago, and died 3 hours later (on my birthday).
5 years and no cursing or getting mad. I give rich props
8:23, the face of pure happieness
Absolutely gorgeous. Brings back memories! Great job guys!
That is a whole lot of love put into that Goat!! I Remember the day 30+ yrs ago. my dad went to look at a 65 and took me with him. $2000.00 got it home..
he never messed with it and it sat.. 2008 he gave it to me,, and i poor man built it.. Duel Quad 400 front disc.. trunk pan, and 1 quarter pan was damaged. ( was drag raced a few seasons in its life ) its far from done but fun to drive!! Keep up the good work! T...
Incredible amount of work you put in! Car looks awesome Rich!
Been following your channel since 15k subs... Your attention to detail and level of workmanship is why I keep coming back. Every project you do is amazing. From power seat controls in a cummins silverado to chrome sideskirt trim on the GTO... Just holy shit WOW. Excellent job, Rich!
Thanks man!
Un"friggin"believable work! Thing is a gem and thank you for sharing the process with us all and even taking the time to make this video with the whole process in 15mins. You're a beast sir!
Great production lads, shows that the whole project was a labour of love for you guys with a final fantastic outcome 👏👏👏👍
Exactly the kinda video I was looking for. I LOVE YOU
Good job. Really respect your hard work
This is so epic! I cant imagine how hard it was for you to do it. Bow down for the hard work!
Helluva job Rich, your talents are amazing. Thank you for the great videos you put out. Huge fan from Saskatchewan!!
Guys amazing rebuild, and also dark deep green color fitting great to this car, no words...
Very impressive sir! Even auto body work to eh. That's always been my least favorite part. Never comes out the way I intended. My dad owns 2 body shops in VT and I've heard he's the best in the state. Learned everything from him but never did get his patience. I can't stand sanding a car 30 times to paint it, just to fucking sand it AGAIN! Lol wish I had your shop and everything in it. Maybe someday. I'm finally on the right path now and see clearly. Thanks for the video.
Y'all did an amazing job on that GTO. Lots of talent.
Great Job on the restoration and I do LOVE the Color! Summer time driver now and thanks for sharing!
Man you killed it with the build!!! And the edit was just perfect!!! Just woke up and this video was perfect to sip coffee too and start my day!!!
Yep, same here. I watch YT while I enjoy my first cup of coffee. Its like priming my oil pump, if that one simple step is skipped, DAMAGE will be done.... lmao. Its a great bonus if Rich has posted something new.
'69 was the best year ever for GM. In 1973 I bought a '69 Malibu and in the mid 80's bought a '69 Camaro. The styling was just too classic and perfectly tasteful. Love the taillights on the GTO better than the Malibu. The flying buttress C pillar is so beautiful on the 2 door coupe. My Malibu was red with a black vinyl top like the one @ViceGripGarage... only in much better shape.
Awesome job guys. Love the vid and build. U showed how much work goes into a rebuild. Not just bought but real honest labour of love. A car enthusiast understands this as yr rebuilding something that has a personality of its own. It has a history. Wen cars were more than just a tool to use and throw away as they r now. Yr effort and stick to it of ness r to b commended. Now u guys r connected to this car by all yr effort and labour of love. This is so much more satisfying than simply buying a new supposedly hot modern car. No new car of today can match this. I encourage all car guys that understand this to make yr own projects yr own. Put yr stamp on it so to speak. Encouraging to c as these types of rebuildable cars r getting fewer and fewer. Encourage and try to get younger ones involved to experience the satisfaction that this results in. Please keep yr channel and content going. It is much appreciated in this throw away world
Very cool film and nice work looks awesome....
Amazing intro, awesome filming. Great dedication.
A true definition of a car fully built by deboss
loving your channel fantastic keep it going
my dream car. you guys did an amazing job with it.
you have a great channel enjoy watching what you do i rebuilt many 350 and 400 tranys years ago so it was a real treat watching your 400 get rebuilt
Incredible job!
Rich you are an artist Sr. Incredible build.
I just got one, awesome build!!!
Awesome video Rich!!
That hole ride is stunning live the color and the rims so much detailed work went into this beauty
That car is a work of art!
What a journey and what beautiful result! I've got to make the trip to see this car....I'm sure its even better in real life.
Beautiful work, she is a masterpiece!!
What a beautiful car ! You did a amazing job....👍🏻🙌🏻
Great build its good to see these ole girls saved from the crushers.
And live on and on awesome.
Y'all did a great job! She's beautiful.... Love the color bud
well done Sir she is stunning and the colour is bang on.
There is nothing you can't do. You essentially build a new car. You are a role model for sure.
Thanks man, appreciate it!
This makes me want to push through my projects. I can't imagine the joy after all that work.
This is bad ass bro 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
You guys did an incredible job on that car. All the trials and tribulations you endured.. And to have an end result like that. Just, wow. Astonishing
Excellent video , hopefully people understand the hard work it took to make it what it is today !
This car is literally my dream car.
Just found you're channel and you are incredible.
Love the work guys
Nice car Rich! I recently put a new 4.0 in my TJ Jeep. This morning when I got out of it at work I smelled raw gas and about had a stroke. I noticed one of the new injectors I installed was leaking onto the intake manifold. So, I thought Rich would be so proud that I went to NAPA and got new O-rings and installed the new ones in the hotel parking lot! Fired right up and checked it again after I got home and so far I think its golden
Great timelaps and nostalgic intro
Awesome job that was a ton of work
wow so much work but man the car came out unreal!!
Beautiful job 👍
Awesome Job Man :)
Wow Congrats great build!
So basically this car is 10% original GTO and 90% DeBoss GTO. Very nice work.
No other engine sounds better to me than an american V8. Awesome job guys. I absolutely love the car and love the colour as well.
Wooooooowww.....U guys r Gods of Car engineering. It's a Hand made custom car. Just loved the engine sound at the end. 👍🏻 Cud u just put details at the end like what power engine u put & all. ? Thx for the show. 👍🏻
That car turned into such a beautiful beast!!!
Beautiful car, talented individuals
That’s what you call a frame off restoration! Nice job!
Beautiful car, nice job.
Great job rich!! U put a lot of hours and hard work into that gto.looks great!!!!
somewhere between 1200-1400 hours
Without question the ‘66 and ‘67 GTOs were the best looking muscle cars of the 60’s
Great job guys you all need credit on this it came out mint. I kinda forgot what you started with.
excellent. making a tech opera from a restoration. love it.
my favorite build ever
Great job. Reminds me of a certain movie starring rebuilt cars: shiny and chrome. Not mediocre.
It’s a credit to you, absolutely beautiful job.
Nice project!!
luv it , well worth the wait , next r/t charger if you can find 1
I am a big fan of your videos and build series. Keep up good job! 👍
I have always liked big american cars, luckily we found original Chrysler 300 -66. I have been dreaming owning such car and when I finally found it.. I am not going to sell it ever! 😎😁
