I forgot that Eric Lane was cut at the beginning of 1987, came back for two replacement games, and stayed on for the rest of the season. So, technically, the Seahawks had six regular players for the Detroit game. It was cool seeing him on the sideline with Steve Largent. Go Hawks.
This is a controversial subject due to the fact that Largent's best game statistically occurred versus Detroit replacement players during the 1987 strike. Some would argue that this game should not be in listed among his top performances, reserving those spots for games versus full fledged NFL competition. I place it at #8 due to the fact that it demonstrates his elite level of performance even at age 33, teamed with the back-up QB no less. But I would not place it any higher.
With his fluid movements, he was almost like a ballet dancer on the field. Loved that man.
Miss watching him play !!!
He will always be one of the best WR to ever play the game.

When Largent left football, so did I.
