- Ray Reardon Best Ever Snooker shots 70s Snooker where Dracula Ray Reardon wins Snooker World Championship 6 times. Funny Moments recreated Break From Life Halloween Special. This Video shows the best shots that Ray ever played that were recorded by a camera and remain on record although this misses out most of his career but we have to work with what we have got. I will try to see how difficult all of these shot were by attempting to recreate all of them.

Good to see Ray getting some love, there's so much aggression in the fanbase right now about who's the best and who people love and hate, nice to get a break from that and see an old school legend getting some attention again
yeah, yob culture has infected snooker. it's a different world watching those old 1970s and 80s matches. i don't understand the need to shout out "COME ON RONNIE!" every single time he pots a ball.
Only a small, yet annoying fraction of the fanbase.
Really love the channel, been watching for a long time, never commented... 'til now😝. Lad from Sunderland, living in Bolnuevo, Spain.
Ray Reardon was my favourite player. There was something so attractive about his style of play, the gracefulness of a supreme craftsman at work, knowing precisely what to do and then doing just it and no more, nothing superfluous, rough-edged or flashy, just pure quality. But that's not to say he wasn't a showman too: that waiting with the rest in hand for the ball to come round the cushions has a bit of swagger to it!
Completely agree! He was a showman throughout his interactions with the crowd were second to none. What a cool guy Dracula was when he was playing.
Ray’s knowledge of Billiards was always obvious when he played round the table positional shots in snooker. It’s a pity that today’s snooker players don’t spend more time playing billiards there’s a lot of useful stuff you could learn from it that would improve your snooker chances.
I vote that Abby appears in more videos. Perhaps she can spot the balls for you ¿

I also want to c her with u;
@Kiera Wubnig how about..get a life?
yes, with the compulsory stockings.....
Had the great privilege and honor to play a frame of snooker with Ray when he came to the club in 1999 where I played and to mark the occasion Ray was kind enough to sign a snooker book where his picture is.
Paul hunters and Stephen Lees shots please the big lads shots were nothing short of spectacular!
Agree. Stephen Lee has the perfect cue action.
Stephen Lee's shots will be very difficult to recreate. His cue power is insane.
Yes would love these videos
Or Alex Higgins and Jimmy White
Watching this has made me see just how good a player Ray Reardon was, if he'd have been younger he would be known as one of the best ever.
Ray Reardon was younger, in fact during his lifetime he's been every age up to 91.
I think you could see the influence of playing billiards with the older players I think that is why Ray Reardon won many games needing one or 2 snookers with only the colours on the table
Wales' greatest player gets more recognition!!!!!
Fun fact about the '82 final: Reardon mentioned in an interview that he thought he had Higgins at 15-15, however Higgins took off.
(Bridgend, South Wales.)
From the bits of it I’ve seen that’s the most “sensible” I’ve ever seen Alex play. I think he knew how rare this opportunity was and wouldn’t let it go
@@Breakfromlife 10 years since his last world title, no way was he going to lose. Had to put up with a fight though against Reardon. Neither are quiters when a world title is at stake.
Snooker behind the black is one of the greatest shots ever.
Aww cheers for highlighting the great man 👨. I frickin love Ray Reardon.
`I met Ray at the recording of the 'POT BLACK' PROGRAM. What a gentleman.
Love this. Almost forgotten how good Ray was to watch.
He's crossed oceans of time to play like that.
Thanks for another wonderfully entertaining video. Ray Reardon was always my favourite player growing up, even though I only caught the tail end of his career in the 80s. I loved his temperament and his sense of humour. He had a lot of fans in Ireland. 🏴 🧛♂️
The great Ray Reardon without doubt the greatest player in the 70's!!
Easily top 5-6 Player ever to play the game. Proud as fellow Welshman and a fan of the game.
My grandad's claim to fame was he beat Ray in a frame of snooker. Ray was under 10 at the time, but that didn't seem to bother him
I had his book and learned break building from his amazing full colour book. Before UA-cam of course. My 1st century break was because of his book.
Great player, pity there is not more footage of his game available when he was at his best. Thanks for the video!
Happy Halloween mate great vid. I grew up watching Ray (Dracula) playing those amazing positional shots on tv here in New Zealand. Many fond memories.
Really good to see you showing some respect to the great Ray. Not for nothing was he Ronnie's coach for a while! Clearly a great player just in tv era thankfully.
Of course it's completely different playing these shots with one attempt under the stress of competition but kudos for the recreations.
This channel helped me improve immensely. Great job, and keep it up 👍👍 From, Tutong, Brunei Darussalam. 🇧🇳
Ray has died at the age of 91, passed away on 19 July 2024. Great man, great player! RIP
The difference between pros and joes - precision and consistency.
@SavageArfad I bet if you gave any pro time to adjust to different cloths they would still destroy any joe.
Love the vids. There is only 1 public snooker table in all of my state (Dayton, OH USA), so seeing you play gives me great enjoyment.
8:22 Didn't you notice the cue ball hit the left middle pocket jaw and therefore changed its traectory significantly?
Great video. Shows appreciation of an all time great and classy recreation of the shots.
What set him apart in his prime was his white ball positioning using his billiards experience. He had a nonchalant swagger as he moved around the table without being too overt. Ray hit a century break when he was 91 at his local club !!!
1:36 but the 'dead weight' blue he potted after the brown was so well judged, in order to hold for the pink... i really liked that particular blue :-)
Great videos ! Love from Bhavnagar, India.
10:47 - That dark table is absolutely gorgeous.
Anyone know who it was made by?
Greetings from Swansea. Same country as Dracula :D
Woah - we need to see more of Abbie - HOT STUFF!
RIP Ray 😢
@@TheBigfatmatt yeah met him in person once was still playing until a few weeks ago
Again, shows just how good the pro's are and were.
The precision and consistency of the pros is fantastic. I bet Reardon would be able to tuck the cue ball close enough to the black consistently.
Love your technique

I think the swerve shot came from an exhibition match in 1985, during the world finals when Steve and Dennis had cleared up in their semis so quickly that they needed to fill the slot. Ray played an exhibition against a very young Tony Drago and John Virgo. He also made a hundred plus break off of the break in the exhibition against Virgo. Amazing player, even then. Panda.
Love the game...been playin since mid 80's. Great channel. Cheers fr. Ontario, Canada.
I’m from Karnataka India.. love to watch your videos..

LOL nice! I live in Nova Scotia too. I only know of three places to play in the entire province. Any snooker tables down in CB?
Love your content From Perak Malaysia
Again, fantastic video! William, from Odense, Denmark :)
On the snooker to hit the red safe from the middle pocket, Ray hits the cushion below the opposite middle pocket whereas you hit above it. Maybe affects the accuracy? Same with the green to get the brown down the cushion. White hits above the middle pocket on the left hand cushion instead of below it. Not complaining, just observations. Love your content and nice touch to see Ray covered on Halloween.
Greetings from Vihti, Finland!
Love your videos and tips

I’m fairly new to snooker but your videos not only help a lot but they are very enjoyable to watch (portsmouth, uk)
I would love to have seen how good Ray could have been if he had a chance to turn professional as a teenager like all the modern players have done, because he was a GREAT player as he was despite not turning pro until he was 35.
Greetings from Trento, Italy!
