Hey man, great stuff as always. Here's a new video idea maybe you wanna try: selecting your favourite player for certain aspects of the game like cue ball control, cue action, safety play etc. And then recreating an example shot.
Can’t believe you didn’t include my friends shot, Aaron Hills pink to the middle pocket against Ronnie O’Sullivan in the decider, with that amount of pressure on it to pot the pink and win was great
158/5000 great job, you are awesome to recreate all of those shots from all these competitions.. thank you for all these videos and advice which are very useful for players like me. Cédric CHERBOURG FRANCE
I am pretty sure that if Selby had made the comment about 'the next generation' and then lost to a newcomer this comments section would be flooded with hate
Great video, can’t wait to go to the club and play! My country is on lock down. My GF broke up with me in the middle of the lock down😣 but if I am being honest I miss her dad 9 feet table more then her. Anyway cheer from Tel Aviv! Benjamin.
completely random question / observation / (my) idiocy. Is it just me or is it weirdly ineffective to use elbow bumps in place of handshakes and than use ungloved hands all over the table (one that they have to breathe out to just due to nature of how its played)? I mean you may aswell just shake your hands at that point, you have touched same parts of table inadvertently and scrubbing the whole table between players is unlikely to occur to sufficient extent to be useful.
It's not a hygiene thing. It's setting an example for the viewing public. All the players are Covid free, with strict testing and quarantine regulations throughout the tournaments. So, arguably, they don't really need to do anything different at all. But they do it for the cameras and also to keep the government off snooker's back
Can I suggest a video? Since I'm in an area of local lock down, I'm only able to play on my own and in a club I normally don't go to so it's a bit more expensive than usual. Can you a suggest a 1 hour practice routine than I can work on by myself? Otherwise I end up playing a frame or two then do the T or a line up.
I'll be honest, I don't think we'll see a real peak of new young players until the class of 92 are gone and the next generation to them have started to wind down. There's too much competition and too much power at the top for the young guns to properly come through. (IMO)
Nice idea to do this type of video after every tournament now! You should do a video about Mark Selby. He - of course - hasn't changed the game like Davis and Hendry, but he is the most successfull player of the 2010s. And he may have stopped what could have been the "O'Sullivan era" in the WSC 2014. I certainly hope that he won't be the dominant force again, because I much prefer Judd's playing style though..
Greetings, Patrick from Alexandria, Virginia, USA. I think the reason you struggled to recreate the Chang Binyu shot is because you thought you needed to hit the red next to the yellow full on, but in fact the way he played it the cue ball hit the cushion first and then the red, which is why the cue ball came far enough away from the cushion and past the yellow to leave himself a shot.
I didn't watch that tournament so cant pick out another one. Your pick...the Trump down the rail screw back looks like a corker...and i know how difficult that shot is. It would be a one in fifty for me so am going with you on that...peace to ya.
hey bro, can u please make a video about the snooker sponsorships because i am getting on the level to consider a sponsor but i don't want to make bad decisions. it really would me help out.
@@Breakfromlife 😂 fair enough, quite a drive for a game! I only started playing last season, I got to the dizzy heights of 30 breaks.... I really got into it though playing 3 times a week, then COVID happened and the snooker hall is shut.... Not hit a ball in 10 months now! The cue will probably be better use as kindling at this rate! Your videos have been really helpful. 👍
Another great video chum. So interesting and informative. I love watching you successfully recreate the great shots so well. Alistair from Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Break from life there was a shot in the final decider Martin Gould v Mark Selby and Mark Selby was trying to pot the red and safety at the same time That was a better shot.

Totally agree mate ,it’s just done to make it look like snooker is doing something ,even though it’s pointless .
consensus(between commenters to this post) being it is merely for appearance i think i approve of the message just not the silly outcome

I did do that couch to 50 break video that had a lot of practice in it but was a little bit basic
@@Breakfromlife I watched that one last night so I will give it a try and see how it goes.
Is My Height Fine If I Can Reach The Table But, Can Not Bend My Knee Because I Don't Have That Much Height Where I Can Bend My Knee?
