Ayo skip! This was an awesome vid man, it's great to see people shred, but it's also great to see you getting better every video. We're not born shredding, and for people who started later in life (I started at 27) it's great to see the progression vs the end. Thanks again 🤙
Yuri, your surfing looks best on a shorter midlength, IMO. I like how your content, guests, boards, shapers, shops, trips are improving and evolving. I’m a new subscriber and appreciate your aspect. All different views, have value and as a west coast, socal surfer love seeing rockaway and other east coast spots. Do a New England or Long Island road trip, please
Awesome, thank you! Do you mean 6'8" Mid length? I'm planning on doing a trip to New England and demo some boards from a local shaper... we just need a good run of waves! Cheers!
@@SkipperSurfReview I’m 5’8” n 156 lbs., lifelong surfer, ex-competitor (albeit years ago), cross train when there’s no surf, still ride shortboards but surf everything from 10’ vintage log to 5’4” fish to 5’8” high performance shortboard. But, as time constraints have cut down my water time, I’m loving midlengths. I ride a 6’6” CI mid and 7’1” CI TPH. They work in waist to double overhead, especially the 6’6”. I say based on your weight, level of fitness and how you like to surf…go a little smaller on your midlength as a daily driver. Like you, I like the challenge n interest of changing things up with different designs, sizes, shapes. It keeps things fresh n fun. Looking forward to your New England trip
I surf skate very rarely... Sometimes I get a bug and do it for a week then I get to the point that I start pushing and falling.. I really can't afford to get hurt ) So, I'm mostly cruise around and rather improve on the wave than at the bowl.
Don't be too hard on yourself, look at your earlier videos on the S&B and your surfing has progressed heaps. There are plenty of surf programs out there like Ombe or Brad Gerlach WaveKi to try. But you are having fun , riding great boards, hanging with good people ... Doesn't get much better than that.
Siiiick session brah! Stay stoked!! 🏄♂️ 🤙

Hey does anyone know victor’s height and weight or a guess on it?? Thanks!
Hey Chris! I believe he’s 170 lbs and 5’9”. He surfs boards with more volume compared to any other surfer on CT tour!
@@SkipperSurfReview thanks for the reply! come surf SD sometime!
