Album - please can you make a movie of Margo? This clip is so sick I could watch his surfing on that board all day. Some of the best cutbacks I have ever seen!
Hi! The board turns well? What your's dimensions? And your weight? I am interested in the Vesper to change a little i have a Harley Ingleby mid 6 7.0 and it rendered all my other board and is a mid lenght. Thank you
Finally a review of the vesper . I bought a stock board based on my current preferred width , so some extra volume . Haven’t got it wet yet , been so small and rocky here . I am a bit older than Margo
How do we size these? Saw some new ones on your websites. I’m 5’10 150lbs. Not considered about volume but want it is as an easier board to use than my short board.
How are you liking your board after owning it for about a month now !?!? Are you wishing you went smaller ? Or, are you happy with the size you got? I’m looking into ordering the 6’6 @ 43L Or 6’2 38L I’m 5’6 155-160 LBS Hope to hear from you soon. Aloha 🤙🏽
@@KyleSurfHawaii bro i went to costa rica 2 times after i bought it and dont regret nothing. size is perfect for me and my lazy ass paddling. I feel it works best on beachbreaks with a little punch. im 5'11 and 187 - 190 lbs. Its s chunky board but works better for me as an intermediate surfer. If you are 5'6 you definetly should go smaller than mine
Now finally people are shaping boards for people who carve and not want to do air 360s. I've been shaping boards out of necessity for 30 years...I'm a big guy over 105 kg...the tour guys surf better than 95 percent of everyone else...and there small guys...I moved to French Polynesia for good waves that have push and barrel as I got older. A fact is the hardest people to shape a good board are average surfers. A board that is average for one guy is magic for another with similar weight and ability...and visa versa...the custom will always be king. The cheapest way to get to know what you like is keep an open mind and try your friends boards of similar weights...Album is getting it right here...no doubt. I'm no Margo but even at 51 years old I still surprise the groms with some decent hacks..I've always been a three fin guy but this Vesper looks the goods as a quad. 10/10. Second point...surfboards are cheap for what you get...try buying custom sports equipment for almost any other sport...see how far a few grand gets you. BTW I still surf a 6'6" .
Thank you for explaining that! Was gonna be my reason for buying this board. Was specially to take a break from my high performance short board and use this Vesper to grovel with and some how as my mid length at 6’2 now I gotta think other wise !? And about saving money instead Mahalo 🤙🏽 for the lookout 💯 🙏🏽
I agree. Just go to a local shaper and he can make you one for a better price. I've done it in the past . These albums are basically shapes from the 80's. Nothing new. There may some minor nuances but thats about it.
I got the twinsman second hand . I can't see myself buying one new . But having said that , if you've ever made a board you'll know how much time and skill is involved in the glassing and sanding etc. They are pieces of art really. Only thing is , I don't know what blanks they use because they seem to get pretty decent compressions .

Of the dozens of boards I want, this one sits at the top of my wishlist.
The Vesper has pretty much rendered every other board in my quiver superfluous! Such a versatile board.
Whats dims? (:

What height and weight is Margo, and the dims on the Vesper? Asking as someone who is 6'3" and 218lbs. Thanks!
Margo is 6,0 - 90kg and his current go too that he's riding is a 6,4 x 20 x 2 3/4 PU construction
@@danscotttt thanks! Now I'm kicking myself for letting the used 6'6" Vesper w/ fins I saw two days ago get away from me to someone else for $750 haha
Margo is my favourite surfer, the board looks incredible

@@Bloodofsavages With the vesper it’s mostly about what you want to get out of it. Email us to chat! Info@albumsurf.com
Is it usable as twin fins to? Or front boxes are too far ahead?
Wrong placement for a twin, but goes pretty good as a quad
Great surfing as always with Margo ps I'm guessing song is by Tinariwen
That Round-House 👑

Albums got the coolest team of riders
is it the board or the rider ? Margo rips !
Board goes unreal in good waves, struggle to surf it in junky and small waves.

1:07. "one foot to six foot" 🤣
Such bullshit. Sure it’s a great board but that makes no sense
@@Slickjim91just saying it’s a good all rounder - ride a longer version when it’s bigger - shorter version when it’s smaller.
Nice surfing boys 😅
Love a 6’0!
Lush board but too expensive.
Ken oath 😢
It’s worth it though.
Cheaper than a made in China board.
