  • Spineless Sadism is a subtype of Sadistic Personality. Typical characteristics of sadism include getting pleasure from other people's suffering or asserting dominance through inflicting pain and humiliation and acts of aggression and violence.
The common traits of Spineless Sadism include being part of a larger group that bullies and abuses, gaining gratification from watching others in pain and distress and lying about their ability to inflict pain and misery.
Sadistic personality quite often co occurs with, among other things, narcissistic personality and psychopathy, and is one of four components of the Dark Tetrad.

It really sucks when you face life having learned these behaviors as your “normal”. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger-- what a load of crap. What doesn’t kill you makes you the weirdo 9/10 times.

aww yes true ❤. But In fairness Nietzsche's quote is actually taken out of context. The full quote is referencing a select group of individuals who he calls Nature's lucky Strokes where he says "He devine's remedies for injuries; he knows how to turn serious accidents to his own advantage; that which does not kill him makes him stronger." Later he is quoted saying what doesn't kill me makes me stronger. Never does he say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

Well, yes. Early on in our "friendship", my ex-friend from Hell used to say, "Let's do so and so on such and such a day". I'd reserve the time, and then she'd go out with some guy she didn't like. Then she'd say, "Well, a date with a man always takes priority. You're free to do the same." In the first place, I have always tried to keep my word. In the second place, I was completely single at the time, and not in a position to meet anyone. In the third place, if she sniffed out the slightest attraction between me and a guy, she magically wound up in bed with him. I thought I was just a gauche person with bad timing. It was many years before she actually dropped the mask, and that was truly frightening. So I say: if you even begin to see such patterns, you're not imagining. Get out, even if it means being friendless for a while.

You can choose to be evil as well. Let’s not forget the machiavellian aspect of this disorder. After you continuously choose to hurt others a few times, it becomes easier. I am not about to assign “evil” as a chance. Yes, most everyone who drives has run over something and are full of regret; fewer people are targeting wildlife and pets.

Sorry about your lousy neighbor. But I just want to say that we should all keep in mind psychology is just one answer to the Myriad of interesting characteristics that people have and ways that law enforcement, in particular, try to profile them. As well as just in general trying to label people who are having trouble in their life and what not. However it is not the last word just as science does not usurp theology although some people would argue that it can only be one or the other. For instance, as a clairvoyant I know several labels and types of mental disability that a lot of people will claim I have because they cannot fathom someone who can actually see beyond this realm. So my point is that yes sometimes we can understand people this way but we must not necessarily label them or ourselves with only psychological labels.

I dont do that but had to since he told me to buy computer parts and he would put them together but when they had arrived, he didnt so I was without a computer and had to call him about it, I never call otherwise because I dont want to disturb people.
