That's the first time I've ever seen any footage from that final game against Parramatta. I remember as a kid thinking if we won we'd be staying in the comp and we still lost anyway.

If you think the halls of power dont abuse their power when their agenda to make huge money is at stake youre dreaming.. of course Tricky's sidelining was excessive it was designed to kneecap our chances and it succeeded.. very difficult to justify kicking a team out of a comp if they are playing finals or indeed winning them..

This should have been the Foundation Clubs collective v News Corp (NRL). That means Roosters, Magpies, Tigers, Bears, Rabbitohs & Jets getting together and fighting QRL for forcing themselves on NSWRL. There competition was rubbish so they wanted to jump in and get the spoils.
