Y'all have to react to "Too Much Heaven", it 's absolutely exquisite. The brothers harmonies and Barry's falsetto are on full display in this one, it's sheer perfection.
I'm a rapper, and I've always loved The Bee Gees. Never been ashamed of it either lol They simply make beautiful music. How Deep is Your Love, Emotion, and To Love Somebody are my favorites.
What younger people might not get, is that the “auto-tuning” style sound they have is legit harmony. They did this before computers! Let alone auto-tuning!
Damn, your comment made me realize that there are probably people out there who consider ‘harmonizing’ like this to be autotune. On topic: as a rapper growing up with lots of different musical genres I can say the BeeGees deserve more love than they get.
I was in seventh grade when Saturday Night Fever came out. Our music teacher had us bring in our favorite album at the time and he’d let the class vote on which one he’d play. I brought this album in, and I came in second to Kansas, Point of no Return.
Nah that Bee gees and Nickelback comparison ain't it, these dudes are legends and before my time but the impact they had with their music and have written for other artists is historic. They were literally going back and forth with their younger brother Andy Gibb for the number 1 spot on billboard multiple times in a row
Bee Gees have so many different styles - would love to see reactions to: To Love Somebody, How Can You Mend a Broken Heart, Jive Talkin, Nights on Broadway, You Should Be Dancing, Fanny Be Tender With My Love, Love You Inside Out, Too Much Heaven, and Tragedy
I will never apologize for loving the Bee Gees. The groove in that band was amazing, Nights On Broadway (do that one!) being a prime example. And the brothers were incredible songwriters.
If you like this one, you will definitely dig "Too Much Heaven" which I don't think gets the recognition for how good of a song it is. Their harmonies are killer on it
36 #1 hits worldwide, 1135 songs, 44 weeks #1 from 1970 to 1980, 270 million records sold with the Bee Gees and other legends such as Barbra Streisand, Dolly Parton, Diana Ross, Kenny Rogers, Elvis, Rod Stewart, Michael Jackson, knighted in 2018, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997, Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2004, most successful songwriter of all time and now also the US Kennedy Center Honors - impossible to achieve more in the life of a musician, an immortal legend.🔥🪩
Don't let the "disco" tag drive your thoughts about the Bee Gees, they are so much more and from the early years of melodic, acoustic based music to their later day mix of pop, soul and soft rock, the brothers Gibb were heavyweight musicians and their undeniable way with melody and harmony vocals are truly a thing of rare magic. Their catalog sits proudly, right next to my Slayer, AC/DC and Zep albums!
Quincy Jones said the BeeGees hit “Fanny be a tender” is one of the best R&B songs he’s ever heard- Definitely worth a listen. Barry was great friends with Michael Jackson… Michael was Barry’s sons Godfather
These brothers wrote 3 number #1 hit songs in one afternoon, “Too Much Heaven”, “Tragedy “ and Shadow Dancing for their brother Andy. They are simply amazing!
Check them out live. They sound just as good on stage as in the studio. Absolute professionals. I was always a heavy metal kid, but those Bee Gees are undeniably great.
They also are the only band to write, produce and record 6 consecutive #1's. And the only band to write a #1 song in 5 different decades. The 60's, 70's, 80's, 90s and 2000's.
Bro Bee Gees are top tier. They've got hits going back to the 60s and struck gold with falsetto/disco which was a booster rocket to their already incredible rise to fame. They deserve it all too. Three (4) brothers with golden voices and a knack for writing a song. I'd love to see more!
These guys are amazing . Hip hop and rap lover and I have 0 shame in loving these old classic . If anything we need to appreciate these guys who made true artful , soulful , true to the core music.
The Bee Gees are just one of the many bands I grew to love because of my pops. Been laughed at many times for my love of the Bee Gees but this metalhead will always have a place for them in my Playlist
I'm a metal head but I also know good music when I hear it. The Bee Gees are one of the best from the seventies . Too Much Heaven or Love You Inside and Out are great ones.
This is an R&B love song you don’t need explosions and shit - did you need fireworks when Luther , Marvin, Boys To Men , Kelly etc etc were churning out R&B love song hits ? One of the most beautiful, melodic slow jams ever written….check out “ Too much heaven” official video ,another R&B classic by the Bee Gees
To all of us who grew up during their Heyday and experienced and witnessed their greatness. The Bee Gees will always have a very special place in our hearts and minds. ❤
One of the best songs ever!! The words pull you in...especially if a guy is singing it to you!! Theres was a lot of babies made to the Bee Gees!! Great group!!
As a person that loves Cannibal Corpse, Slayer, Tool and many of the other metal bands you’ve listened to, I love The Bee Gees, especially this song. And I guarantee you, if they are being honest , members of all those metal bands rock The Bee Gees too.
The Bee Gees are a playlist must especially for when your having a bad day. Listening to their music will 100% fix whatever kind of bad day you are having lol
They wrote so many great songs of all varieties long before (and after) their disco years. They are so much more than this particular style of music. Superb songwriters.
Too Much Heaven, Fanny be tender with my love, Jive Talking, Tragedy, You Should be dancing, More than a Woman...blue eyed soul at its finest! Late 60s...To Love Somebody, Lonely Days, I gotta get a message to you, How can you mend a broken heart, Run to me. 40 plus years of hits. They can all alternate their voices.
I'm a goth that grew up listening to Bee Gees. I never felt any shame for loving the Bee Gees. If anyone had a bad word for them I was ready to fight about it.
In my youth, I always dismissed The Bee Gees as “Disco” and The Beach Boys as “songs about surfing and cars”.. Then I heard this tune and the album “Pet Sounds” and these guys and the Beach Boys are just fantastic talents you don’t sell 100’s of millions of Albums by just being a “fad” and not delivering the goods on album and LIVE. I dig metal, blues, and country, and classical and bluegrass and rock and roll, this tune is fantastically arranged, performed and written and produced..Good is good no matter what style.
The Bee Gees are, and always have been, complete and utter Kings of Music. If you don't acknowledge how awesome they are, then you hate music or you're scared. Or both. The Bee Gees are #6 in the world because they deserve it, because they EARNED it. People are afraid to admit they love it because they don't want to seem "soft", it's toxic masculinity shit. I listen to industrial music, classic rock, big beat, & LOOOVE the Bee Gees and disco. Also, anybody who hears "Bee Gees" and jumps straight to disco, you know right there they don't know what they're talking about. The Bee Gees had had 15-20 YEARS of success, chart-topping and hits, before they ever touched disco. They were successfule multiple times before disco existed. Then when disco came along, they dominated it & took over the world of music worldwide. If you're a fan of historic music, watch the Bee Gees documentary. There's a multitude of reasons they're up there with Elvis & the Beatles, it's an incredible story. BEE GEES RULE! 🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻
The Bee Gees are incredible. I put them up there with Chicago and Earth Wind and Fire. There is no one out there that sound like these guys. Tragedy is really good too. Bee Gees music is timeless, period point blank!
My sister and I are huge hard/prog rock fans and we loooove the Bee Gees! Such a guilty pleasure and they absolutely ruled the charts in the disco era deservedly. If you really want to hear their stripped down talent without all the lush production, listen to some of their 60s work. You will be blown away by their unmistakeable talent.
The BeeGees were legends and very secure men. Less giggling and more Respect to them for their achievements and skills! They had no autotune and performed perfectly live.
I'm with you George. The Bee Gees are songwriting geniuses. Melodic heaven! One may not dig the sweetness, but how can you argue with talent like that! Your reaction is timely; Barry Gibb is this year's recipient of the Kennedy Center Honors, along with Queen Latifah and Dionne Warwick among others. The show's airing on 12/27. With that line-up, I expect a real musical treat.
I am 59 Years old and graduated High School in 1982. My Favorite group was the Bee Gees, and my favorite singer was Elvis. The 70's and 80's was a Golden era of Music. On the Radio we would hear great songs from many Genres. The other station we would get was the Oldies Station that played Music from the 50's and 60's. The Artists would cross Genres in the 70's and 80's and write songs for and perform with each other. It was all about the Music. The artists would sound at least as good Live if not better than in the Studio. It was also before Autotune that makes everyone try to sound the same. Please react to the Bee Gees song Fanny Be Tender With My Love.
I'm a punker from way back, and I fully endorse listening to the BeeGees. There's nothing wrong with liking great music, no matter the genre.
Indeed…. The more dimensions you possess, the more you can enjoy life and the more you have to offer.
Talent galore!
🫡
As a lifelong metal head the Bee Gees are awesome! ❤🤘🏼
Manowar raised here, I second that...
Long time headbanger. Bee Gees are okay with me.
True that! Good music is good music.....period!
Tf outta here, you're not a metalhead.
Absolutely agree. I'll be at Decapitated in a few nights but the Bee Gees can do no wrong.
You will begin to appreciate the Bee Gees even more when you learn how many songs they have written for other artists.
Preach! Genius talent cannot be denied.
True.
Y'all have to react to "Too Much Heaven", it 's absolutely exquisite. The brothers harmonies and Barry's falsetto are on full display in this one, it's sheer perfection.
Harmonies on point and Barry’s falsetto….absolutely stellar. 🎤🥰
most singer sang falsetto to fit the song. Barry just sang falsetto and the song fit it !
He just shows off on Too Much Heaven lol
I'm a rapper, and I've always loved The Bee Gees. Never been ashamed of it either lol They simply make beautiful music. How Deep is Your Love, Emotion, and To Love Somebody are my favorites.
I LOVE "To Love Somebody" and I JUST played it right before I came here!! I also love "Nights On Broadway," "Night Fever" and "Tragedy!!"
Emotion is fireee
As a child born in the 70s I know all the words. This song is a true classic. Love it!
Metalhead, here. All good-hearted people like The BeeGees
What younger people might not get, is that the “auto-tuning” style sound they have is legit harmony. They did this before computers! Let alone auto-tuning!
No doubt, eh. True vocal geniuses and talents.
yeah, thats real in studio
Damn, your comment made me realize that there are probably people out there who consider ‘harmonizing’ like this to be autotune.
On topic: as a rapper growing up with lots of different musical genres I can say the BeeGees deserve more love than they get.
I've had to tell quite a few kids that yes this was in fact decades before auto-tune, they were just that darn good ❤
Mannn…what a classic! We gotta protect the last Bee Gee! ❤
They should. Listen to night forever
Yes much love to Sir Barry Gibb!!!
@@MOS650 I'm, 39 years old and I grow up on all types of music. But my favorite song has to be bought forever it just a great beat
Yeah he will die at some point too😂😂 the whole "we must protect" thing is so ridiculous
Definitely. It upsets me when people don't give them respect but it's usually from lack of knowledge.
This song was on the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack. It’s hard to overemphasize how huge that album was when the movie came out.
And I really think reactors should watch the movie to really understand the emotion that goes along with their songs in every scene.
Yeah, I watched it again recently on TCM, and it really is a great film.
I bought the album when it came out, still have it.
I was in seventh grade when Saturday Night Fever came out. Our music teacher had us bring in our favorite album at the time and he’d let the class vote on which one he’d play. I brought this album in, and I came in second to Kansas, Point of no Return.
I didn't so much listen to the SNF soundtrack as much live it, as much as a nine or ten-year-old could, anyway.
Nah that Bee gees and Nickelback comparison ain't it, these dudes are legends and before my time but the impact they had with their music and have written for other artists is historic. I agree! One of my favorite songs
I agree. Pretty sure "Too much Heaven " was to blame for me being a 19 year old mother 🤣
Especially if they catch the official video...
@@lynndally9160 I'm a straight man but I'm pretty sure that song could get me pregnant too
Long time Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Van Halen, Ozzy fan! Love, love, love me some BEE GEES! Keep reacting to the Bee Gees👍🎶

Too much Heaven. You wont regret it. The best Bee Gees song of all time.
You'd be surprised how many people your ages that absolutely love these guys. No auto tune.
The Bee Gees were awesome, plain and simple. Make fun if you want, but they were GREAT songwriters, period.
BeeGees were so gifted! Great song and style.
These brothers wrote 3 number #1 hit songs in one afternoon, “Too Much Heaven”, “Tragedy “ and Shadow Dancing for their brother Andy. They are simply amazing!
The Bee Gees are the greatest trio in music history
Check them out live. They sound just as good on stage as in the studio. Absolute professionals.

The Bee Gees are just one of the many bands I grew to love because of my pops. Been laughed at many times for my love of the Bee Gees but this metalhead will always have a place for them in my Playlist
I love The Bee Gees. Unironically. They wrote great songs in two different genres and wrote hits for other artists time and time again.
More than two genres
As a metal head this song rocks, just don’t tell my friends, now do The Carpenters Close To You!
That’s exactly where my thoughts went! Karen Carpenter had the dreamiest voice.
You can't go wrong with Carpenters..❤
Dudes be playing it off like they're both not about to burst into tears. Let it flow! It's okay!
The greatest pop music ever written for me. The sheer amount of hits they’ve written is mindlblowing and in multiple styles.
Too Much Heaven is one of the most perfect songs ever.....
I'm a metal head but I also know good music when I hear it. The Bee Gees are one of the best from the seventies . Too Much Heaven or Love You Inside and Out are great ones.
“Too Much Heaven” is the ONE people should check when first hearing the BeeGees, a time stopping chart topper for good reason. 😉
These brothers had sooo many hits. Thanks guys for reacting to this one!
In my opinion the greatest group of all time. The best song writers too.
Grew up on the Bee Gees and have been a Metal head forever. They were great!❤
I think we can all agree regardless of our own personal tastes that the BeeGees are legendary song writers and performers.
Real men like the Bee Gees 😜
This is an R&B love song you don’t need explosions and shit - did you need fireworks when Luther , Marvin, Boys To Men , Kelly etc etc were churning out R&B love song hits ? I’m a hard rock, grunge queen, but this is music that speaks to my soul as well. ❤
For a small island/s the level of musical talent/ influence from the UK is just insane!! 6 of the top 10 best sellers of all time
Bee Gee's are amazing. Wrote more hit songs for other artist than they did for themselves. Goats.
The Beegees had their own sound that rocked the entire world with their beautiful songs that will live forever
I absolutely adore Bee Gees … a reaction to -You Should Be Dancing ( live Sprits Flown Tour ) w/ Brother Andy Gibb ….an epic performance).
There is no Bee Gees hate like there is Nickelback hate. Bee Gees are pioneers and legends!
The fact he really mentioned nickelback in the same breath as the bee gees is insane
The had some of the most beautiful soft rock songs of the 70s.
As a person that loves Cannibal Corpse, Slayer, Tool and many of the other metal bands you’ve listened to, I love The Bee Gees, especially this song. And I guarantee you, if they are being honest , members of all those metal bands rock The Bee Gees too.
Never hid my love for the BeeGees music. Wish i had seen them in concert.
The Bee Gees are a playlist must especially for when your having a bad day. Listening to their music will 100% fix whatever kind of bad day you are having lol
I have always loved dark and hard driving music.
But The Bee Gees are among the greatest to ever exist.
they wrote the songs and we felt every word.........love them!
Metal head here... I love the Bee Gees! then again i was born in the late 70's
Bee Gees are 🔥
Pure talent. All four of the Brothers Gibb were amazing singers.
The Bee Gees are absolutely synonymous with 70's pop music.. up there with the best.
I love seeing you guys groovin to the beat of the Bee Gee's. I saw them in concert in the late 70's and they did not disappoint!
Excellent reaction. "Too Much Heaven" "Love so right" and "Fanny be Tender" are a must to react to.
Been a rocker/metal head since about 75. Have loved the Bee Gees just as long! 💯🖤✊🏿
Bee Gees is amazing. So beautiful
Love this song !!! Love The Bee Gees
Buah, an absolute classic! I'm a big ass metalhead/classic rocker and love bee gees, credit to them and to you guys!

Bunch of metal guys like me would say the same... We love the Bee Gees.
Bee Gees are so good!

Bee Gees!!! Classic jam right here‼‼✨✨💥🎯❤🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 do more oldies like this!!! Great reaction guys‼🌍
How could anyone dislike this?
People without taste.
I was born in 68'. For the first 13 years of my life. I heard the Bee Gees. Still love them.
Bee Gees are icons.
This song's a banger! Master-class in song writing.
As an aussie metalhead. I will always sing out loud and proudly to any Bee Gee's song that comes on the radio.
The Bee Gees are incredible. I put them up there with Chicago and Earth Wind and Fire. There is no one out there that sound like these guys. Tragedy is really good too. Bee Gees music is timeless, period point blank!
One of the best lovesongs ever written. ❤
My sister and I are huge hard/prog rock fans and we loooove the Bee Gees! Such a guilty pleasure and they absolutely ruled the charts in the disco era deservedly. The BeeGees were legends and very secure men. Less giggling and more Respect to them for their achievements and skills! They had no autotune and performed perfectly live.
The greatest band of all time 250 million albums sold worldwide WOW!!!!! You guys definitely got way more songs of theirs to react to.
Bee Gees were a place and a time and you just had to be old enough to appreciate that place and that time

Please react to the Bee Gees song Fanny Be Tender With My Love.
When Stayin’ Alive starts, that intro, you can’t stop yourself.
Finally the Bee Gees lets gooooo
Metal Heads everywhere will admit that the Bee Gees are amazing!!
We can all agree that an overwhelming majority of us can real dig the BeeGees.
