I purchased the ResMEd Mini in April. I took it on a cruise to Alaska and it worked perfectly. There is a bit of noise when I exhale, but not soemthing that keeps me awake. The machine itself is 100% silent. Yes the unit is expensive, but the convenience is worth the investment.
I recently purchased this and have used it a couple of times while traveling. I must say it is definitely worth the investment. Why these machines are so dang expensive is beyond me. There’s no need for it. But the machine worked great! It isn’t really that much noisier than my regular machine and you’ll get used to it pretty quickly. I did not receive the humid X attachments in my set up kit. I don’t know if this was a mistake or what, but I didn’t get them and it didn’t seem to matter. The bag is a little too small and flimsy for me. I ended up going out and buying another bag that kind of looks like a man’s shaving kit and there are pockets for everything. I just don’t like jamming everything into that bag. As for going between the standard and travel machines, as long as both machines are registered with your provider they will capture the data output. I was afraid that if I didn’t use my regular machine for several nights or a week or more that it would look like I was abandoning my therapy. With the registration of both machines they continue to capture the data daily. If you can afford the nearly $1000 price tag then go for it.
I wanted to get one in Saskatchewan, but Careica said it was $1600, then April of this year, Careica stated the machine was now $2000. I was flabbergasted on the apparent extortionate price. I definitely was not going to buy from Careica. They claimed, that they offer customer help, hence their expensive prices. It was just ridiculous at that point. I browsed around outside of Saskatchewan and found a better deal in Ontario. $1250 compared to the $2000 was a big difference.
I bought one the other week, as a sales rep travelling around staying in a different motel each night, the cpap is worth every single cent. The ease of set up and pack down, the size on the bedside table in the rooms. It’s absolutely 💯% perfect, but the join from long hose to head gear hose where the filter is, might be a little noisy, but it’s worth the money.
good demo. nicely explained
Yes worth it
The noise level of the mini is way above white noise! The airflow through the humidifier is bothersome. And the machine has a slight whining sound.
Yes. I don’t use the humidifier.
It is soooooo loud. I really cant use it
very good
I’ve had mine for 4 years and love it when traveling.
I'm very interested in it. If you don't mind me asking, do you use it daily or only when traveling? Did your insurance cover a travel cpap machine?
Do you have to replace the cartridge every time you travel?
@@ashwilliams6894 if you are using the humidifier the cartridge is changed after 30 days.
Which batter pac is in this video. I like how small it looks!
These things shouldn't be costing more than a smartphone. They are overpriced.
Wasaaaaaas
You're comparing cell phones to a machine that helps you breathe while you sleep?? Stfu
Aren't smart phone over 1k$?
Have you priced smart phones lately?
its $799 CAD , when you use the discount codes. They give them in the emails
Will I have to call the airline to check of they have a PowerPoint at my seat?
Tristan just bought the AirMini i’ll be taking in 40° temps. Will this be hard on my lungs with the air being cold? I saw your message post on UA-cam about camping. Thought you might have a recommendation.

What is the power outley used for? Can it charge a phone?
If I use the airsense 11 at home and the airmini on the road, will the myAir app handle both devices? Will my doctor get access to the data from both devices? Or do I have to make 2 accounts?
I have the same doubts.
Also, can I use the same battery for Airsense 10 too?
How is the air pressure setting done, pre set or by yourself
It is changed on the app, in the clinical menu. This video will explain everything - ua-cam.com/video/oE2zkfT_R2M/v-deo.html
Can I use this same battery for my Airsense 10 Autoset Machine too?
depends on the battery. They are both 24V so you would just need the right cable.
Can I use this and my main CPAP machine as well as travel with it?
yes you can go back and forth between the two. you can of course use the main CPAP to travel with as well. The main issue with that is the size, and humidity. If you are using a CPAP battery to run the machine, you will need to turn the humidity OFF on a main machine. Whereas, the Airmini uses HumidX, so that is not an issue.
OMG 😱 I WOULD LOVE ❤️ TO HAVE ONE ☝️ OF THESE & Give my true opinion & testimony on this as I travel often and a lot of that is sleeping 🛌 in my car 🚗 or in sometimes getting to stay in camper with friends this would be the perfect 👍 size right now Iam deali with the resmed 11 Hey #miniresmed I’ll show one off for you #resmed #resmedmini
my partner and I both hate the noise of the mini in our camper. He doesn't doesn't even hear the full size machine
Yes, I've been VERY disappointed with this purchase. Wish someone would look into why around 10% (based on the reviews I've read online) of users CANNOT STAND the noise on inhalation. Are we lighter sleepers? Or is there some sort of quality control inconsistency with these machines?@@susanbarthel1182
It's too loud!
I read that this machine is extremely loud, so I won’t be buying this. So many people bought it now don’t like it.
Very noise
The entire package doesn't look to be all that smaller than a regular AirSense.
Way to expensive, the directions for using in the manual are nonexistent, the app is confusing, and it is a lot noisier than a full size machine since the valve is much closer to your head.
Too expensive. 👎👎👎
Looks like junk
Nor junky at all. Have one and prefer it to my Airsence 11
