Blue Echo Care CPAP Review | Are Amazon CPAP Machines worth it?
BEC CPAP Review. In this video we check out the Blue Echo Care CPAP Machine. This machine is competitively priced, but is it worth it? Overall, it seems like a great offering from BEC however, when compared to top brands like ResMed, BEC will naturally not have the same medical resources, replacement parts, informational documents, video tutorials, research and development and more. Since brand name machines can be purchased for the SAME if not LOWER prices then the BEC CPAP when you log into ecommerce brands... it begs the question... is it worth it?
Buying a CPAP machine on Amazon can be convenient, but there are some things to consider before making the purchase:
Pros:
Convenience - Fast shipping, easy returns (depending on the seller), and customer reviews can help with decision-making.
Competitive Prices - Prices can sometimes be lower than traditional medical suppliers.
Cons:
Warranty Issues - Manufacturers may not honor warranties if the device is bought from an unauthorized seller.
Counterfeit or Used Products - There’s a risk of receiving a refurbished or counterfeit unit if the seller isn’t reputable.
No Personalized Support - CPAP suppliers often offer setup help, troubleshooting, and mask fittings, which Amazon does not provide.

He talks a lot about soaking the hose a lot and how it could get damaged if left for too long, I for one always leave mine in for hours, some times over night, I've yet to have any issues what so ever, been doing so for years now, honestly if this does do something to your hose, its probably a hose that was going to fail anyways, they probably tell you shouldn't get the connectors wet for those few hoses that get past QC so they don't have to replace them heh.

To dry the tube I just plug it into the ResMed AirCurve 10, and as long as I put the water reservoir in first I can turn the machine on and run air through the tube (and the mask connected to it so it dries too), and turn the machine on and let it run for 5-10 minutes. (If you do this WITHOUT the water reservoir in place the machine will shut off over and over.)

Prescribed pressure doesn't matter if you have an auto adjusting Dreamstation2. You just set a low and high range.

    • @thecpapstore
      @thecpapstore 2 дні тому

Prescribed pressure significantly alters therapy. Having a very low and high range requires the patient to have apneas to get to an optimal pressure. For example, if a patient usually requires a pressure of 12 and the APAP is set to 4 - 20, the machine might take over an hour and multiple apneas to climb all the way from 4 to 12. See this video for a longer explanation! Thanks for watching! : ua-cam.com/video/dgE54i3UF2E/v-deo.html

Yep! When I got my results the sleep clinic said that if I buy I machine online that they would charge $700 to set it up for me. They also said that each appointment for follow up was $75.00. At the time I did not know that you guys can set up the machine before shipping it out. I ended up getting my CPAP from the sleep clinic and paying about $1000 out of pocket. I could have got my machine from you guys and had everything covered.😢

I have used a full-face mask since the very beginning - 2008 or so; I have Goldenhar Syndrome, Craniofacial deformities - but I am to have cataract surgery in the very near future. The F30i was recommended so as to not interfere with the *eye-shields* used for a week to ten daysafter each procedure. I tried a pair of *those* with the F20, and either there was a lot of pain or leaks.

The videos are great. But the store itself does not respond. I waited for days after a purchased Eson 2 was squeaking so bad I couldn't use it - zero response from the store. I tried on Facebook, too. They want your money, but they don't want to provide after-purchase support. I also tried F & P, and they are even worse. They literally have no one who speaks English in CANADA! All I wanted to know was what lube to use to stop the squeaking. No response. Not cool. If you sell a product, you should support your customers and at least respond. Buyer beware.

I'm still pretty new to my CPAP, but, this is exactly why I've bought it. I keep waking up with bloody nose (and sometimes blood all over my lips and teeth, yikes, right?!) so I got a smart humidifier, but, just to make sure what I'm being ram jetted through my nostrils is clean I bought one of these. My CPAP has Hypoallergenic Filters, and they actually do help as well (not so much with the moisture though... I really hope the Humidifier solves for that)

Thankfully we have one of his old machines that still works although it says motor life exceeded. I can understand limits on the health system but this was mechanical failure not fraudulent. I have 1 1/2 years CPAP experience. Full face either hurt my nasal bridge or leaked excessively. Nasal pillows felt like sandpaper in my nares. Nasal masks require mouth tape, which I now use with great success. I put on 3 strips of 3M waterproof at bedtime; then my N20 and no worries on back or side. Some adjustment needed around 3AM due to mild leak from settling of the foam pillow, but otherwise I sleep 7 hours per night with scores >95. This recipe has worked for the last 6 months; no problems. Good luck!
