Personally I think it be cooler if you fully built it with svc parts there mid travel kit and king off-road shocks and went with more of pre runner bumpers. Tune it with custom tune.

negative out plus in. Fly me out and I will help you. I have done quite a few suspension lifts and i can weld the brackets back in that get cut off. You need to find that brackets.

sounds weird.. but I always lay out a dollar store blue tarp on the floor when I do my oil changes , just incase there's accidental spillage. Then toss it when done.

I've been watching Matt since the very beginning. Unlike many, he shows you videos warts and all. That's half the fun watching them. I remember when he got his Gen1 and Gen2. Thought it was a mistake to sell the Gen2 and keep Gen1, but doesn't really matter. I've owned 3 Gen2 Raptors and have a Gen3 on order. There are dealers, though few and far between, who are honest and do not charge a ADM.
Going back to the Raptor. Nice!

Don’t mess with the raptor , modifying anything will make it 100% less reliable. all those fancy aftermarket shocks are made to be rebuilt every so often.

Innov8 Wheels are pretty nice, very OG spec.3rd Also just making it OEM+ would be nice, keep the live valve shocks or do the Fox Race Series 3.0's, add SDI E-Click to it, Deaver +3 Springs, SVC Shackles, SVC UCA's, SVC Bump Kit, SVC bumpers, Baja Designs Lights, Alpharex Headlights, GJ Motorsports or Bulletproof Diesel 3rd brake light parts, tune it, AWE exhaust, tint, paint correction, coating.
100% in on the giveaway. Would be cool if you kept the bumper/winch for the winner so if they want/need it they can swap it back themselves.
Bumper on the front is a no-go
Being there is BDS Lift Kit on there some parts of original structure of the truck might be gone (meaning cut off). When it comes to wheels rule of thumb. More you go towards 0mm offset or on minus side the more wheel sticks out from underneath the fender. More towards plus side more tucked in it will be. Factory wheels are usually between +38 to +30mm offset. Thirdly MidTravel Suspension for on road use only limits your turning radius little bit and its noisy especially shock valve clunking. If you can get away without replacing factory structural pieces (if they haven't been cut off) personally I would go with Fox LiveValve Race Series 3.0's (going with Kings you need to do LiveValve Delete Kit since it has LiveValve Fox Shocks). Icons or Deavers in the rear with SVC or Icon Bump Stop Kit and call it a day. Definitely change bumper and for the Tune go with GooseTuned (one of the developers for Cobb Tunning ... guy actually works for NASA 😉).
The problem with the lift is the taller you get, the more offset you need. With it setup flush, it’s lifted too much

Looks like the BDS lift required some cutting to the lower control arm frame pocket. Not sure if that will affect installation of another kit or going back to stock.

I release the pull cord lock on my garage door, let it roll to the stops and pull my truck in. My garage door is to low to pull in as well. Unless I release the latch.
I was just going to mention that. At my rental i have to literally push the door up higher on the tracks and jam a screwdriver to hold it .. to get my jeep to fit.

Have noticed that the last few videos, the house/garage walk through and then this one have had some odd camera issues. The exterior corners being blacked, the over all view seeming like it is zoomed in a lot more, and then random focusing issues. Did you guys change equipment recently?
Yeah, new camera. Canon C70. Just figuring out what works and what doesn't.

What causes the camera to have the black in the corners? Noticed it in the last 3-4 videos and haven’t before
It's the Sigma Art lens with C70 and RF adapter. It's not good.
Prob using an EF-S lens on it, instead of a RF or EF lens. EF-S lenses don't cover the whole sensor when zoomed all the way out.
If it has a 4” lift , you won’t be able to go back since they modify the frame.

Cause we can. Gas is cheap, roads are wide, we have stuff, most people are porky piggly, dogs like trucks, freedom, we win wars and lastly...because we can. The South is trucks and SUVs by an overwhelming majority. And the Raptor is pretty high up on the truck hierarchy. In a sea of trucks, the Raptor really stands out without being overly obnoxious. It's only slightly obnoxious.

There ended up being a second oring stuck to the housing from a previous oil change. That is why the old filter was locked on.

Really? Visually a Raptor is vastly different than a F150. The TRX is to similar to some other trim levels. I specifically said 'similar' and not 'identical' for a reason. Don't point out the obvious differences. A plus for the Raptor is not being number 18 in line for warranty repairs. My local Ram dealership entrance looks like a parade every morning.
@@timkinley1779 I think there is a distinct difference from how the TRX looks to even the rebel which is probably closest looking trim
