I believe the suggestion regarding the mirrors refers to unscrewing them from the base then reattaching them under the bar (i.e., pointing downwards)…not just rotating the actual mirror. Love the bike and look forward to the day I get one!
Nice bike. I'd say avoid any supercharger that charges by the minute as it doesn't charge fast enough to justify. If desperate, sure, otherwise look for per KWH. Love the Livewire though.
I think the EV vehicle world needs about another 10 years to mature. Mileage per charge needs to increase around 25 to 50% depending on vehicle type and charge times need to massively reduce before they can be taken truly seriously as a viable alt to petrol / diesel.
L3 (level three) fast charging is nice but as you mentioned, is not particularly fast because we still have to wait approximately one hour to charge the motorcycle. im puzzled that Gbatteries still has not made it into mainstream fast charging stations, because this would reduce charge times to 5 minutes. the tech has been here, proven; independently for over ten years. everyone agrees that public demand is the only thing that can fast track gbatteries quick charging technology into the mainstream. also, gbatteries tech does not reduce cycle life nor capacity of the battery.
What I don't understand, is every gas station pump has a card reader and pin pad. You can you your bank card or credit card. Why don't charge stations just install the same thing instead of relying on apps? You can work it like Transit out here. If you use the app it costs less, and you can store an amount. If you use a bank card or credit card you pay a higher fee but anyone can access it.
Thumbs up for the, "Lets see how many pillows I end up buying..." comment about your wife going to Target. ;-) Careful though, she might watch this video and you'll be sleeping in the garage.
It's weird, my socket in the bike does not look like this! I bought a Livewire a few months ago in Paris (France) and it is obviously not equipped for the same chargers. The one in my garage has been down for a week and I need to find a public one, sooooo...still not sure about compatibility and fast charging here. Take care and ride safe
I picked up on how you tried to rationalize your cost of Charging that thing. It's only gonna go up and up. And 40+ minutes ??, waiting just takes out of a Ride..Hey I wish you the best, but wasting money on that, when there are so many better Bikes out there, for the same or lower price, I would never be able to justify it.

Ya know that makes a lot more sense. Thank you!
Right to left side / left to right.

$17 to fill up? I’ve never spent more than $8 to fill up my LVW1 with fast charge. That was extremely expensive.
Exactly what I was thinking.

All the chargers in my area charge per minute as well. Petro-can is the worst at $0.50/minute! Its robbery!

Cheaper to fill up at Harley Davidson dealership or at home.
Wow, that's insanely priced. Here it's €0,60-0,80/kWh
What kW did it pull maximum.

$17 for 70 miles😥
17 bucks to fill. Just stay with gas at that point. The point was that it was cheaper.
It still is cheaper but the reason it was so expensive was because the charger he was at did pay per minute of charging not by kwh which is dumb
way too much BS for me
Sticking with gas two minute fill up and gone!
