First Time Running the Ventrac 4500K with Tough Cut! Let's GO!

- Alright guys, it's time to put the Ventrac 4500 and Tough Cut to work! This is the first time running the Ventrac 4500. I went ahead and put the Tough Cut deck all the way up so I could run through this overgrown field quickly. Just wanted to get used to the controls and the feel of the Tough Cut, so here goes...
Lord works in mysterious ways. He sure is good. I’m late to the party, but congrats on winning that beast.

You need the canopy with fan.
At that height the Ventrac can go much faster.

Thanks so much! Yeah, that would be awesome for the Summer! 😎. I wasn’t able to hold the camera and run the Ventrac at normal speed very well. BUT I did try the chest camera mount the other day and it was much better! Going to be editing that video soon...
I have the 4500Z. That is flat land. I have steep hills and have mowed trees, briers and weeds 6 foot high. I love my Ventrac!!!

Congratulations on the win! I’m glad that they gave you a K model all they push is the Z ,it’s nice to hear the bark of a vtwin !You don’t have to cut it in steps,the tough cut isn’t a finish mower. There’s no benefit to doing it this way.set it at 4” and go.
Never seen the K model until now. Seems like everyone has either the Kubota Gas or Diesel. That tall spindly grass just lays over and pops back up. Think it would have been better if it was lowered way down. But it was my first time running it. Thanks for heads up. Put some more hrs on it the past couple days. 💯

Finally and that’s a beast of a mower

This will certainly help make that decision to buy one ( maybe u can get demo pricing at the end of the year ) did u get many attachments with it ? Great stuff . Funny how we are all so far away . I’m in Ontario . Tuesday after noon cooled right off and snow and sleet came . Ended up with three inches overnight . :(
Thank you so much! I’ve been eyeing 👀 the Ventrac for a while now. Definitely excited to put it to the test and see how much work I can pick up with it! I received 2 attachments - the Tough Cut and Aera-Vator. Oh wow. I don’t even know what to say about this weather. They are calling for 7” of rain this coming week. 🤦♂️

You are supposed to push it to the breaking point to show people what a Ventrac will do. Put a rain coat on and get back out there. And don't slow down when you come to some small bushes, if anything, speed up. By the end of the season, you need to have a list of problems you discovered that they need to fix.
Lol. The whole purpose is to make money, not break something so it’s sitting and not making me money. But, if I had 1 million bucks I would buy one and put it through The most extreme conditions just for you! 😎
How does you body feel after sitting down on the Ventrac I have a toro muti-Force and my hands ache after a full day of use
How’s the Comfort
I haven’t spent a lot of seat time on it yet, but stay tuned and I will let you know. As far as the Toro Multi Force goes, I run the Ferris Z3X mowers and my hands are giving me problems from running them. Not sure what I will do in the future to help with this, but something definitely will have to be done. I can definitely relate to the aches in your hands. 🙏

This is not a fair test... You need to lower the cut height to match the level of the other lawn.
Don’t worry, I have all season to try it out. Short/Tall - I’m gonna try it all! 👍
The majority of the time I run with the front wheels at the lowest setting and the back too. Unless you have stumps you are trying to avoid. Most of the time I wonder if it is still working... I look behind me and U say, yep it's working! It is so effortless, even at the lowest setting. Congrats!!
