Take all your stuff, preferably with some green stuff, mulch it, pile it, compost it, and then turn the worms loose. Make some great soil out of waste. I'd really like to see Ventrac make a light duty forestry mulcher. With all the vegetation fuel reduction that needs to be done, it probably would take off.
Yeah, that would be sweet if they did make a light forestry mulcher. You should see the soil where I’ve chopped up all the debris 😳. Really rich looking soil. Thanks for taking the time to watch!
I have a couple piles of tree limbs and brush I have been letting sit, about two years now, which I was going to burn. Watching this I bet my Ventrac could do the same. I would rather mulch it up and have been wondering about if teh Tough Cut could do it.
Your having way to much fun. Work is no place to have fun.🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣. Did you bite the bullet and keep the Ventrac? I’am sooooooo jealous. Blue Cord drop your name.
Haha. Running this machine is definitely a lot of FUN! I’m going to be deciding this week if I’m going to keep it or not. Stay tuned! Appreciate you taking the time to watch! Have a great night. 👍
I had my doubts about whether it was wise for you to mulch a pile of branches with the Ventrac, but it seemed to work for the most part. It would have been good to see how blades, belts, etc., survived. Don't let naysayers discourage you from producing the videos you desire. I enjoy all aspects of your videos. Show me the Ventrac, the Proscape truck body, the other equipment you use, and the jobs you tackle. It is all good to me as well as your respectful manner of talking to your audience. Thanks.
Haha...I hear ya! I gotta put the Ventrac and Tough Cut to the test. It did really well mulching all that brush! I've tackled a lot of thick stuff with the Tough Cut and the blades still look good. They hold up really well! Appreciate you taking the time to watch the channel. It is called The Lawn Care Life in Mowssouri for a reason. Just want to show you guys what it's like living the lawn care life here in Mowssouri. Whether it is the equipment that I'm using or the jobs that I'm tackling that day or even the HUGE lawn care and landscaping shows that I get to attend! Hope you learn something and feel motivated to go out and tackle something fun after watching the videos. Thanks again for tuning in! Appreciate the support!
Hey John! I’m hoping to update you guys soon on what I decided to do on the Ventrac and Attachments. I appreciate you watching the channel. Stay tuned...
Which Ventrac dealer do I use? I really don’t have one that I use here locally. There is a new dealer up by St Louis in Leslie, MO. I believe the name is Harwood Equipment. I’ve been wanting to go up there and check them out. Do you have a Ventrac???
@@TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri no i been wanting one for years Ladd turf in memphis was a dealer but the toro buyout took that now ladds is Steiner ask for Earie
Adding a fresh layer of mulch over the existing mulch is a nice way to freshen it up. I would recommend replacing the mulch every couple of years though, especially when spread on top of a weed barrier. The mulch will break down over time and turn into an ideal place for weeds/grass to grow in it. Keeping your mulch fresh will discourage weeds/grass to pop up in your flower beds. Hope that helps.
@@TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri really???, Just showing? Check how many times you mentioned ventrack... you seem to think all of your viewers are in the lawn care business, we aren't, we don't really care which machine is used, many people just like the process of mowing and the before and after pics.
I gotcha! Thanks for the feedback. A lot of viewers follow just to see the Ventrac. But I see where you’re coming from as someone just wanting to watch the process. Definitely makes sense. 👍
@@TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri the fact that you mentioned ventrack in your reply is another example of you being a corporate shill, you might want to expand your channels vision as u-tube is a world wide platform with ventrack not a player in many markets, not to mention the fact that many people do not appreciate being marketed to in the disguise of entertainment.
Thanks for watching and I appreciate the feedback. I will definitely consider how I approach future videos as the channel grows into a wider audience of lawn care professionals and those just watching to see the process unfold. 👍
I’m thoroughly impressed!
Ohhhh yeah! It’s an unbelievable machine! 😎
Interesting idea! Good video!
Awesome job
Thanks a lot for watching. 👍
Good JOB did a Nice Job!!!
Thanks a lot! Appreciate you taking the time to watch. 👍
I think the Ventrac floats like a butterfly, is as agile as a mountain goat and is tough as iron! What a well made machine!

Hey Cameron just wondering if you made a good deal with Ventrac about the 4500k. And I would like to know what attachments you also got in the process

The bucket and grapple would have made easy work of that running that brush pile out to back of property in high gear- fun too!!
Absolutely! Hope to get that someday! Thanks for watching. 👍
Cameron, What oil do you use in the Ventrac?
Nice gob, wish I had one 15 years ago.

Yeah I had a buddy that was talking to them about a Ventrac years ago. Unfortunate for those that bought machines from them since they swapped Brands.
Got a question maybe can help do we need to remove last year mulch from from flower beds?
No just keep layering on top each year. As it breaks down it adds nutrients to soil.

I think you would be better off with a chipper
Great job! Where do set deck height? I run mine at 3.5
Have you decided to keep that one or buy a 4520?
Thanks a lot! Right now it is set in the highest setting. I’ll be deciding this week whether I’m going to keep it or not. Stay tuned...
unless my eyes are lying you got to keep it or you are waiting on the repo man. :)
