I strap a 5 gallon bucket to the ROPS of my Ventrac so I can collect trash as I go. I used a grinder to cut slots into the bottom edge so it drains easily.

@@TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri looking at a Kubota or Kioti since that is the brands around me. They do have John Deere but don’t want to pay that price lol
@@aaronslawncare1103 haha...I don't blame ya there. I know a lot of guys that run the Kubota tractors and they seem to like them. You'll see a few Kioti tractors around here, but I don't know much about them. Any tractor will get the job done for you though!

Absolutely! That’s my main focus in 2023. Lots of overgrown areas around here that need maintained. And you’re 100% correct - you can run this machine without having to rely on employees not showing up and still make some pretty good money in a day. Appreciated the continued support. @@TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri looks like it was a fun one, I had one a couple months ago for a horse pasture, it was fun nothing in the way since it had been a pasture. Didn't have to worry about rocks, metal, or any other obstructions just straight up tough cutting.
I hope they gave you a good deal on that because you're making some great videos for them.

Enjoyed the video. But I always watch from a different veiw point, well, sometimes. But I wonder sometimes, the stuff you run over, and your squated down trying to get it out. Would it be beneficial to have a set of car ramps handy, just so you can get the mower a little higher off the ground so you can see what you are doing??? Keep up the good work. 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁👍👍👍👍👍👍👍. This deck flips up, but it's pretty heavy to flip up by yourself while out in the field. So, I usually just try to pull things out the way it sits. The new Tough Cut actually has a hydraulic lift and with the push of a button it flips up. Now that would be nice to have! I was so far away from the truck that I didn't drive it back to the trailer. Although, I would have had to IF I didn't take the time to lift the deck up or I wasn't able to just pull it out from underneath. I appreciate you watching the channel!

That’s a lot of cutting. Do you have to sharpen the blades half way through that stuff? I like the video
I swapped out blades after I cut a lot of the heavy brush, but it’s not really necessary if the blades are in pretty good shape. You can put a LOT of hours on these blades with little damage to them, even in heavy brush.

What I don’t get about you utubers is your not connected to the camera why the fffk don’t you put it down when you need two hands for something....Doh
Probably because a tripod is not available to film it. That’s the only reason I don’t put the camera down when wanting to include something in the video. Make sense?
