@corvon1498 No issues with the semi-matte finish and no cutouts. Best TV i have personally ever seen. I'm mostly a gamer. I recommend both the S90D and S95D, depending on if you want the best gaming TV or something about two-thirds as bright for around half the price.
I honestly think the G2 has a little bit better color compared to the g4 but the g4 can get brighter with being able to pull out more details that one would never have thought even existed because the prior processing wasn't able to accomplish it. It's mostly noticeable in 4k hdr gaming. Just tune the tv right and you will be able to maximize the performance. It is time consuming and ever so changing but it's definitely worth it.

@paulcox2447. Hey thank you for the comment and checking out the video. Yes I do not have any sponsorship or any brands sending me different tvs to review. I can only do comparisons of tvs I buy and personally own. So I comapre tvs and share my long term ownership of them. When you own the tvs for a long time. I would have to give it to the g4 because in most cases it looks more 3d due to the extra details it can bring out of scenes more consistent over the s90d. If you set the black levels to be even darker and don't care so much about black crushing you can actually make the g4 even more 3d too. Do basically if you have a scene that has an object the the g4 pulls details out of really well and let's say the background is generally dark. Then you pull the black levels in settings to make black levels even darker. The g4 has more of a 3d effect over the s90d because not only are the black levels were set to be darker and slightly more crushed, the details in the foreground are brought more to life thus helping that 3d effect look more realistic. But there are times where dtm can ruin it too. Where it can take away the edge enhancements and look more soft, faded and flat. Particularly in brighter scenes with multiple different types of highlights. And that's where the s90d shines. Tone mapping is wisely placed nicely while really colorful scenes look super sharp. This makes a colorful movie look jaw dropping amazing. And because of genius highlight algorithms and the best color I ever scene combined, along with better uniformity of a qd oled compared to the g4. It can look better and more 3d in those Particular situations.

I do think if your living in an home where your neighbors are nit gunna bang on the wall cause your surround sound is disturbing them, you should definitely get minimum a soundbar. It definitely adds life to the experience. It is awesome
We bought and compared the LG G4, Sony A95L and Samsung 90D (not 95d) and found S90D at its price point a much better value. The Samsung we liked the QD OLED Tech.
@ogcod does the g4 have a color booster option ? which is wailable only after u update the tv? and if there is how good is it? does it bring close to the s90d colors ?
@djedi2012. Hey thank you for the comment and checking out the video. Unless there's an update om not familiar with that has a dedicated color booster like the S90D has, then no not that I know of. But with dtm on, I personally think it helps with color brightness although the color itself is not as pure and saturated as the S90D.
I'm asamsung guy but that G4 looks amazing and it looks more 3 dimensional
@jesusmarin95. Hey thank you for your comment and checking out the video. Means allot. Truly. I am predominantly more of an LG person if we go by the number of tvs I ever owned. I have had more lg tvs then I can count at this point. Oled and led. But I have to say. The more you use a qd oled tv the more it spoils you. Either lg jumps on the wagon and they will be the best tvs again or Samsung develops a new processor to be equal to SONY and LGS processing to take the w.
S95D has better brightness colors, but the S90D loses in all other respects. G4 is brighter, has better near black level, is better color adjusted bring more details (Alpha 11 CPU) etc. S90D is not on the level of the G4. Competitors of the G4 are Sony A95L and Samsung S95D
What settings would you recommend for hdr gaming on the s9d :)
Hey buddy, are you going to get a Panasonic OLED?😊
too expensive in my opinion, I doubt he's interested.
I want to but if it doesn't offer anything that is game changing or superb then I'm not sure if there is a point ad there pricing is a little ridiculous especially after just leaving the u.s market for that long and just coming back as if all of a sudden we the buyers should bow down and kiss there feet as a thank you for coming back. Not a fan of that. Like how are you go8ng to come back to our market with pricing that high?
@@consumerreview2k I understand what you are saying. If the Panasonic doesn't offer much, then why spend the money on something that may be subpar to what we already have namely the Samsung LG or SONY OLED tvs.
I wish you could have made this comparison more structured.

Can you do a video about upscaling low res content on these tv's
@@parthivbomma6570 I can do that.
Can you get the new Panasonic TV to review against the 3 TVs? Test results showing it’s brighter than all 3 TVs. But is the detail there?
As you mentioned both units are amazing but take note the s90D w-oled at 77 inch as well the small sized models and the 65 inch models are QD-Oled
@jordi4384. Hey, thank you for the comment and for checking out the video. Means allot I have seen only the qd oled versions personally, but yes, once I heard a few months ago that you could potentially purchase a woled panel, then I was a little nervous. So I took a close-up picture myself to see whether it was an oled or qd oled. Mine is a qdoled for sure.
@consumerreview2k yeah pretty much as long as the model # ends in FXZA you're good to go.
What is the best TV in SDR?
The G4 had a clearer image but flat colors, nothing special
S90d, it's the opposite ; awesome, intense colors but not as clear as the G4.
For me, both are great 👍
@Darkliomn83. Hey thank you for the comment and checking out the video. Means allot. Your opinion will always be respected on my channel. Truly appreciate it.
Which S90Ds are QD-OLED are some are WOLED LG panels sold to Samsung.
Nice comparison could you share the demo link?
Lg g4 is amazing but had to return mine dead pixels got the s95d takes some getting use to but the colours amazing.
@MrAwol007. Hey thank you for the comment and checking out the video. Means allot. Sucks you had to return it. But hey now you got the s95d. I know you mentioned the amazing colors. Do you think you may like it better compared to the g4?
@@consumerreview2k colours and hdr highlights are better on s95d but picture details the g4 was better to my eyes
I've seen a lot of stuff about the dead pixel problem with the LG G4 it's put me of getting one.
I had 3 the first one chipped screen , 2nd one i returned due to another retailer doing a better deal . The third one was fine all 3 had no dead pixels . This is the first thing i look for
@@darrenhines7347 the ones I've seen the dead pixels came about two weeks after purchase one was 6 months. I'd be seething if I paid that kind of money for the G4 for it to get even one dead pixel two weeks or even six months later.
@eastman566. Hey thank you for the comment and checking out the video. Truly appreciate it from the heart. I get your concern. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Although I have heard if those issues. I'm not sure if it is a high percentage or not. But my guess if it's a low percentage, I personally wouldn't worry to much.
@@consumerreview2k thanks man.
I researched it a bit because I'm looking for a new TV I've looked at a lot of TV and keep coming back round to the LG G4 seems all reviewers like it. It was Tech Giant that made me research the pixel issue as his one had dead pixels after six months but luckily LG are going change the panel for him. I'm wanting the 77 inch and would be devastated paying that kind of money and it has that issue.
I started off leaning towards the G4, Z3 or QN900D for different reasons. But one reason i didnt consider the S95D was the myriad of hatred that was shared for the matte.
But over many comparisons, it kept forcing me to consider it as the HDR and SDR impact in gaming kept standing out.
I ended up with the S95D in the end 😂. The S90D showed out well too.
How's the s95D for u?
@gandara3983 it's even better than I saw, after tweaking some settings.
The S90C (that I also own) is one of the best TVs in the world, I had no idea how substantial the gap between the two was until I got my hands on it.
Granted, I paid double for the 95 version - I feel it is warranted
@ehenningsen. Hey thank you for the comment and checking out the video. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts and buying experience. Congratulations on the purchase of your SAMSUNG S95D. I have seen more ppl happy with it then not.
@@ehenningsenhey is the matte A problem do you recommend the s90d or s95d and do you get problems when gaming like blackouts on the s95d in high hrz?
@corvon1498 No issues with the semi-matte finish and no cutouts.
Best TV i have personally ever seen. I'm mostly a gamer.
I recommend both the S90D and S95D, depending on if you want the best gaming TV or something about two-thirds as bright for around half the price.
Could've played some 4k videos from UA-cam for differences..
Is there much difference between g2 and those two tvs ?
I honestly think the G2 has a little bit better color compared to the g4 but the g4 can get brighter with being able to pull out more details that one would never have thought even existed because the prior processing wasn't able to accomplish it. It's mostly noticeable in 4k hdr gaming. Just tune the tv right and you will be able to maximize the performance. It is time consuming and ever so changing but it's definitely worth it.
@@consumerreview2k thanks for reply i bought g2 few months ago for very cheap price and i was wondering if i didint make mistake because i thought that i am missing a Lot compare it to qd oleds or Maybe g3/g4 but to be honest g2 is fantastic to and I love every bit of it i went from 2018 oled from Panasonic but g2 has such nice natural and rich colors and decent brightness so I will stick to it few years for sure
@@consumerreview2k also do you still have g2 ? Would love to see side by side with g4 and s90d nobody does such kind of videos with older models :)
You should get the S95D and compare that to the G4 - it's a better comparison.
The Samsung has the matte finish. These two don’t so I think these are a better comparison.
@@AeroDude73 The S95D is superior over the S90D in every way, except the matte finish as it gets much brighter.
@TheAntifluencer. Hey thank you for the comment and checking out the video. Man I really wish I got the S95D. I just couldn't convince myself enough to buy it because of the matte finish.
What is their warranty?
5 Years Panel
I would pick up the G4 over the S90D every.. single... time.
@DrakonR. Hey thank you for the comment and checking out the video. Means allot. The G4 is definitely a top tier piece of art on my opinion and I love it.
Have you noticed a green tint with your G4?
Yeah the whole tv is green can’t you see it? No that’s not a real issue. Just something you read, don’t worry.
You can adjust the color balance in the menu. If it's an off axis tint, most people don't watch their TV far off axis.
@@BigHugeChamp Rtings mentioned this issue on their test unit.
The c4, not the g4, has the green tint. It's quite visible after maybe 25 degrees off angle in rtings c4 video review. They visually compare it to another oled tv, and it is pretty bad
@@davidrubec2759 Thank you for the clarification.
Dude you've compared these TV's 900 times.
that's the point of this channel. i wish he'd compare all three TVs but the past few months he's been leaving out the A95L out of the comparison. the point of this channel is to compare the 3 best TVs on the market.
There's more to them then what the other reviews mention because you notice more things about the tvs when you have them longer then a week or 2. And that's what this channel is mostly about. As far as the SONY A95L goes. I have done so many videos on those I wouldn't think ppl would want to see more.
Hello OG… know you’ve been asked this before in case I missed it, but:
Strictly speaking… from a gamer’s perspective, which would you go for- A95L, or G4..?
All else considered of course.. strictly speaking which would you nominate as top boss for serious gaming ?
From Dubai With ❤
G4 is the only one that maintains HDR color brightness in game mode. All other tvs are dimmer in game mode. So from a gamers standpoint G4 is best
@H.2.O. Hey thank you for the comment and checking out the video. from Dubai wow thank you. Means allot.wouts one of my dreams to go there one day. I thinknif your primary use case is gaming and you can only choose one, it would have to be the G4 over the A95L. The A95L is my favorite overall tv but my least favorite gaming TV. I play on the A95L casually not seriously or competitively. Rpg games are just fine to play on the A95L.
@@consumerreview2kThank you very much brother OG.. your input is truly valued.. appreciate you man.. as for your visit to Dubai, we can make that happen.. 😅😊
3d pops on the g4, the blacks man
I’m bout to get rid of my LG C3 for a Samsung S90D…
I've had a C2 and S90C. The Samsung won't be much of an upgrade.
I just picked up a C4, and might pick a s90d at Costco. It looks nice but it’s lacking a punch and especially in game mode.
@@beammeupscottsp7952 …does the C4 have a green tint to it and vertical banding..my C3 has vertical banding?

@HAIkieILiHi. Hey thank you for the comment and checking out the video.please let us k.ow what you think when you do. Don't forget about us.
All I will say is the matte finish is absolutely dreadful, completely lowers the contrast of the screen because it scatters the light all over it....
@Displayays. 1234. Hey thank you for the comment and checking out the video. That was the primary reason why I did not purchase the S95d. The onky reason why I regret not buying it is because I definitely feel the lost of brightness of the S90D. Although I keep it on a mostly dark room I can still notice how much more dim it os comapred to my g4 let alone the S95D.
G4 is a stutter mess. Samsung or Sony always
@brokenSnake. Hey thank you for the comment and checking out the video. Means allot. I haven't personally experienced thamis99% of the time I'm in 4k Hdr and also mostly gaming. For at least what I noticed is specifically in hdr content and hdr gaming in 4k, that motion and stutter seems almost equal with the LG G4 being better by a slight edge. Vertical or horizontal. All meaning being compared to both my S90D and A95L.
Both are shit wait for next year 😂
And next year you will wait for the year after 😂😂

@consumerreview2k which TV has the most 3D effect to the picture?
@@consumerreview2k great, thank you for the detailed response. Which setting adjusts the black levels in the G4, what was your setting set to?
