I have a S95D, is it worth updating to 1201?
Samsung's planned obsolescence, let's go!
Someone needs to do a downgrade patch guide asap
Im curious isnt the solution just as easy to disconnect it from the internet and use an android stick or box?
At launch yes, but sadly newer units shit with the nerfed sets
My question to Q is it worth to upgrade to new firmware on the s95d
Yeah. The contrast got a face-lift
Samsung did it because there are massively more S95s setting in warehouses and stockrooms unsold!
I'm increasingly glad I didn't buy a new TV yet. Paying for the opportunity for Samsung or any company to screw you over with software resulting in worse performance is wild to me. A company that shows such distain for customers is unacceptable.
Just get the lg g4
Mine shipped with 1201 in the uk 🇬🇧 I never connected it to the Internet.
What size u get
65”
@DK-iy1wf and how is it, are you impressed with it overall? Mine is coming on 24th.
@@DK-iy1wf Same here, but the picture quality is very impressive. I won’t connect it to the internet as I use an Apple TV box for streaming.
That’s crazy I got kicked from your discord for talking about Sony once lmao
I don't run it...so idk what happened there
@@Quantum_TV it’s all good i was just saying those moderators be tripping appreciate the content brotha
Im glad did not update to 1201 for my S90D
Don't do it!
@ Hello sir when you will release the HDR mode for gaming in S90D..
I had auto update off and it still updated
Been waiting for a few months now for HDR settings. Especially it’s the king of tvs atm. Surprised there isn’t any settings for HDR.
I’m keen to get “Standard” HDR settings to match the SDR Standard settings Qs provided.
He has HDR settings, check his page. He uses the movie mode for those settings.
@@marcprobin1659 keen for “Standard” to marry up to the SDR color space one. He’s said it is in the works.
Thats why i will never buy samsung
@@masterk.7928 whatcha mean? because of settings?
TURN OFF YOUR WIFI ON YOUR TVS!!!
But without WiFi can’t use streaming platforms
@@afleo7475nvidua shield or Apple TV
You can just turn off automatic updates.
Lmao I try to help ppl and they criticize, criticize, criticize 🤣
If you have a Roku stick, or other streaming stick. You can also use a gaming system...
I had auto update off and it still updated my tv haha.
Lol i was looking to buy this tv
One of the reasons I never buy samsung TV's anymore.

Absolutely! The Samsung Q60B QLED TV is known for its excellent brightness levels, topping around 600 nits. This ensures that you get vibrant, clear images, even in brightly lit rooms. This brightness is also quite effective for HDR content, delivering enhanced color and contrast
