PSA: Do NOT work through pain. That’s your body letting you know you already messed up previously and to stop. You want to still exercise to get blood flowing in the affected area (helps recovery), but not too crazy. I had a slight injury that affected my performance, but you’ll see in the next videos it didn’t stop me from having some fun :)

So true! I'm 58 and hit the weights all the time. 10 day's ago I was doing a calf workout on the leg press and felt something in my foot. I stopped and waited for the wife to finish her yoga class. In those 20 minutes things changed fast, I could hardly walk when she showed up. Turned out to be plantar fasciitis. Better now but not completely healed

its very difficult but when on gear sometimes you gotta take it slower on the weight increases as your joints dont grow as fast as your muscles. it may "feel" light but sometimes its better to progress slower than you "feel" and thats why a lot of guys on gear still progress slower than they are able to and dont push it until theyve been moving up for awhile to prevent injury

@@georgesullivan4473 Awesome, where it boils down to is: How well your mind-muscle connection is, if you learn to listen to your body, it's very easy to figure out where adjustments, improvements, or information gathering needs to be performed in order to correct an issue. You listened to your body and it responded, you healed, and your back training already.
It generally seems a lot of people state they *have* an issue, when they actually have already recovered a significant amount.
