The guy who hit 225 with a pr from 185 is actually insane. he probably has never gone to such limits before without a spotter and yall really helped that man exceed what he normally is scared to do without a spotter
Was a cheat rep to be fair, spotter was touching the bar. Still cool regardless
@@rileyparker5668 he didn't provide any assistance
@@u-n-i u dont know how much u can help someone with only one finger under the bar , those guys bench 500lb bro u dont have idea how much he helped him with this only "touching the bar " but regardless they hyped man up hard and maybe now he gonna break the "barrier" in his head that he couldn't do it and gonna make it
@@rileyparker5668 booh!
@@rileyparker5668 that's a joke right ? You do realize having finger on the bar help with his mental.... Jesus wtf is with kids not knowing how to spot. If you think a slight touch takes away from a lift. You're a moron.
This is what we need. Those lame ass pranks getting people wet or getting physical is spreading chaos and negativity. THIS is spreading positivity and harmony. God bless you guys!!!
Yeaaah this was such a positive video!!!
Never looked at the prank people and thought they went to a gym regularly
yes guys believe in jesus christ 🙏🙏🙏i keep you and jesus in my heart ❤!!
Forreal🙏🏾
every single prank channel on youtube gets these comments lmfao.
"We all started somewhere" that line right there shows how humble, respectful and most of all inspirational you guys are! I actually shed a tear when I saw you guys helping the guy in blue shirt benching 102 kilos, not gonna lie. My new years resolution is to first of all, get started in a gym, and if I can bench half of what he did by the end of the year I'll be more than happy! That's how out of shape I am atm, BUT it's never too late to get started so here goes nothing! Wish someone would come up to me and help me like you guys helped him! Seriously guys you are awesome!
stop wishing and get it done. don’t allow present you to disappoint future you anymore
GET AFTER IT! No wishing, use this vid as motivation
Awesome! I’m doing the same. Had my 8 workout session today and it feels awesome. I’m geting stronger day by day. I’m in bad shape but allready feeling the differens.
@@Itsme-vd3dx That awesome dude! I don't have the money to access a gym for the time being, so I started to train at home with pushups and situps and taking long walks to get my fitness up a bit + I started to eat healthier food, and I already notice a difference in strength and health even if it's only a little bit! Cannot wait to get to the gym later this year 💪
@@MrRhunok Awesome, so happy for you. Allways do the best with what you got, thats life. Their is a lot of home workout at youtube. I tried it and couldnt even keep up with the women so I hit the gym 🤣. The most important thing at least for me is to get rutins to be consistant with working out and as you say eat healty. Food is my weakpoint, I can workout till I puke, but disciplin on food is harder. The result will come just dont quit :)
He’s right about psyching yourself out. Years ago when I was trying to get four (4) plates (405lbs) on my bench I psyched myself out. I’d push 395lbs up like it was nothing. I could barely move it once that fourth plate went on each side. One day I got it and it never felt quite that heavy after that happened.
I know exactly what you mean - I never got to two plates. I'm a small frame guy and had been training (not always eating) consistently from 16-28 years old (max body weight 165 @ 5'9"). The last two years I took a hiatus from the gym but I just got back into it and I am trying to work my way up to that 225. I'll think about this vid and your comment - thanks!
I don't go to the gym but run and even do that to myself to push the last few miles. Psych, take good breathes, talk to myself and go.
You can do isometric holds with heavy weights to help the brain adapt to the weight. Like with squats I'll add my 1rm + 20% to the bar and take the weight as low as I can safely and hold it for like 20 seconds to a minute. Then I drop the weight and do my original set and rep scheme. It made a huge difference and I'm far more comfortable with heavy weights.
@@donventura2116 Gonna have to try that. Been stuck for months trying to hit 185 on bench.
God damn, hitting my first 2 plate on bench with those guys would definitely be the highlight of my life
Don’t GD.
@@iwillneverreadyourreplysta7489 Stay mad
@@TheEchelon respect your creator and respect other peoples religion
@@sergiorobles7169 cry about it
@@sergiorobles7169 it's a gym video, keep religion out of it.
But as you bring it up, I respect people's right to their own religion but don't tell me I should respect that religion.
Respect should not be automatic, it should be earned or judged based on values.
It's not a prank when you're out there actually motivating and helping people :)
True, but it's just a keyword to get clicks. Game's the game...
Your guys' support made their days, you can just tell it meant a lot. If we all start acting as supportive as you guys are here, we would thrive as a society. 🔱
i think of a gym where everyone goes everyday, everyone knows each other, the energy is 100 always, and everyone is always hyping each other up, music is blasting. impossible to have a bad work out. a gym only in heaven probably
@@StopFlaggingVideos The problem here is, everyone has different preferences. I like to walk into the gym, workout, and get out. Not really antisocial but I don't go to the gym to talk or to have anything else on my mind than working out.
@@StopFlaggingVideos
The encouragement and support in this video was inspirational.
But what you described would be super annoying to me and a lot of other people.
That said… go find your tribe, my dude 💪
@@GigaMaximus you know whats funny is that im actually the same as you, im antisocial and dont talk much at the gym, im there to get my sets in. but i cant deny that the gym i described would have an infectious energy. i guess i'd just like to be more social and outgoing sometimes
@@StopFlaggingVideos It sounds to me that you just want to get a bit more social, you shouldnt look in the gym for that. Just talk to people at ur school or work or something like waterpolo team whatever you like. Most people dont really want to social up in the gym, but dont let that discourage you, you could always meet a gymbro outside of the gym. You do you King 🔱
Damn, that first guy surprised me. Seemed like he just didn't believe in himself. Easy 275, perhaps for reps, by the end of the year if he utilizes his new-found confidence.
275 for reps by the end of the year??? HELL YEAH!!! He could do that easily if he stays motivated. I like how you think!
@Hutch bro spent 5 whole minutes watching a video about spreading positivity just to be negative in a comment section
Love the support you guys give. I work out in my own garage, but having people to encourage you to push past what you think is a limit is just awesome.
Fkn love this guy man! He's an absolute unit but is the chillest dude ever. Hyping up & helping others to push harder instead of being self absorbed. I hope when those dudes you helped get huge they pass on what you guys did here!
There should be people like you guys in EVERY gym, hyping up and motivating other gym goers like me who's way below your level, man. That would be inspiring.
Planet Fitness enters the comments to frown on what you just posted.
@@1MarkKeller yeah when you think about it, is it really surprising anymore if it's PF? 😂
@@vielissimo1202 lol
This is awesome. As someone who started working out alone at a commercial gym many years ago, I was nervous. Nervous what the bigger, more experienced dudes thought. Nervous to ask for a spot, etc. Now that I'm a bigger guy (not close to you guys) and much more experienced (some 10-12 years later), I try to help the younger dudes. Would have loved this when I was younger...hell it'd be cool now too.
Now that's called unity, great to see you guys encouraging people to push themselves beyond what they thought possible 👏.
This was wholesome and you dudes are massive!!!
it's amazing how much more energy you can get from people like you guys...you dont know how much it meant to these guys...i'd love to have you guys with me!!
This man is an inspiration to us all! Protect him at all costs.
It’s amazing how much of a confidence boost you get from peers who support you.
I've watched some of ur shorts but this vid got me to sub because it takes a real man to help and lift up others the way you did here. Mad respect you're in the lifting hall of fame and you've earned it.
This was so wholesome seeing proper etiquette and you can tell others wanted to join in. Great job as a role model in the gym.
actually inspiring guys, wish more people were out there like you keep it going guys
Yo, you should make more videos like this. Seeing you guys help out other gym goers hit their potential. Hell yeah!
You pushed that guy to 225 lbs, that’s mad respect. Keep up the positivity
Love the positivity! A few years back, I lost a ton of weight (ie I was skin and bones) with some GI issues that ultimately lead to surgery. I can tell you from long personal experience what it's like to be the smallest, skinniest guy in the gym trying to rebuild from nothing, lifting the little weights while everyone else is slinging the big boys around. I definitely had people side-eyeing me and snickering at me giving my all to sling those little dumbbells around. The difference in having someone just come out and offer support wherever you're at changes everything. Momo, wherever you are, thank you for helping me the way these guys did in this vid. And congrats to the young man who hit 225 and found he had so much more in the tank than he ever realized!
The positivity you guys put out in this video was insane!!!! Everyone has to start somewhere!!
Love the positive support you guys give. Please do more videos like this!
best video ive seen all day
that is what a gym is supposed to be. everybody motivating and helping each other out.
Hey man, I don't even go to the gym but seeing you guys give positive energy, vibes and encouragement to these other gym goers gives me hella good vibes!
Absolute units, look up to your guys, keep it up.
Love this. Bring positivity to the gym culture. Encourage other ppl around . Love it. Joe swole will be proud.
I've never seen so much inspiration before. The fact that you guys got out there and did this is so awesome. Literally.
This video just had me smiling man. This is dope. You and your gym guys are real ones
This is so awesome. I wish I would have had this when I started. Hype,Tips, and form correction and all.
This needs to be a staple series.
See, there should be more of that stuff. Help out the folks that don't think they can. The genre of elite lifters going into gyms and making people look and feel like shit is bogus. Go in, put on a show and then help them out. Help them break barriers and gain that confidence.
Biggest guys are the most wholesome 💯
Yo this literally brought a tear to my eye fellas. So hard to find this level of support these days. Keep grinding.
Right on! I love taking my kids or nephews and nieces to the gym and having them go right to my friend who is also biggest guy and introduce them. They start so scared that they'll be judged and quickly learn that most of the elite looking guys and girls are also the biggest cheerleaders for new lifters. I love your videos
Literally started watching your channel and i’m really inspired by your positivity. Seriously a man who builds people up is so much stronger than a man who brings others down.
as a newbie, having friendly people coming in and spotting is super comforting. Feels reassuring that what youre doing is correct and youre not just awkward and looking dumb
This was absolutely amazing! The gym experience is so much better when we encourage each other!
As an avid gym goer, I really appreciate this energy!! ☝🏿😊
I cannot stop watching your content, truly amazing and inspiring.
Love this energy so much fr. So genuine. We need more of this
This is awesome!!!!! I’m one of those people way to nervous to ask people for a spot or help and I’ve been training for nearly 10 years. Almost bring a tear to my eye
I love your videos man. Keep going. This is motivation for so many people. Thanks for sharing!
That was so cool to help spot him! When I am with my trainer I feel more confident and can push harder. It's hard to get to that same mental state by yourself (at least for me, who has only been going for 5 months).
Very nice. So nice to see people actually encouraging others. Well done!
this was so dope to watch man spreading good energy everywhere !
I need more Colin Weng content 😩 Leave me wanting more every time with these couple minute videos 😅 Love the video man keep up the great work!!
The guy you hyped up to go 102kg, it felt like I was that guy. You're doing real good job man! Kudos to you guys!
Appreciate this, dudes like you really do inspire little dudes like us trying to get bigger. Thank you!
Most wholesome gym video I’ve ever seen that’s awesome. Im a small guy but seeing 2 huge guys hype me up I’d give anything a try! Sometimes hype from a chill stranger can do wonders
I love the wholesome and positive energy you put out this gym. Love your videos and the support you give to encourage people to push pass what they think is achievable!!! ❤
Wholesome content. Keep up the great work, you're an inspiration to tons of people.
Man this made me emotional watching this. The gym community is really a supportive group and I wish more people would know that. For every 1 turd, there are probably 15 or 20 people there to support you. I loved when you said we all start somewhere.
Loved this, strong people lift others up!
It's a crime that this video isn't longer
Love what you guys are doing ! Great content and more of this please ! 💪
I started going back to the gym and honestly it’s great going with people who are encouraging. I used to go years ago when the community was super toxic(I myself was toxic as well in all honesty). We need more people like this, the gym is a community.
Dropped a tear 🥲
Helping that guy to unlock his december goal _right away_ definately altered his understanding of the many aspects of training and his approach forever! 🤯
well he didnt really do it tho
I played football with Spoon back in the 6th grade. Glad he’s doing his thing as a content creator now 💯
This video brought me a much needed smile. Great video, it's always more fun to pull people up the ladder of success simply by showing others that they had the strength all along.
Every Gym needs people like you!
Amazing work guys! The best experience I had at the gym was working out with a coworker who was a amateur bodybuilders who did shows. I lifted weight I never thought was possible because I had someone there to push me and I knew would keep me safe.
How is this a prank? This is inspiring. Always makes a big difference in my confidence when lifting when I have a hype person
You seem like such a genuine guy man... love you and your content
This is freaking awesome… that kid lit up! Great job with this video.
Bro.. I could not bench 102 kgs with my 120 kgs/190cms "masculinity" and I am pretty strong legwise and boxing wise. But I am doings 80's at tops (170 DL/250 Legpress/70 shoulder press)
100 kg bench is a milestone for me. I hope I will get it this year. Nice coaching, man.
U are angel of gym
The energy here is amazing, so positive and inviting
So wholesome, absolutely love to see it!
Just another comment. There’s so much negativity in the fitness community as of late compared to the old POG, Matt Ogus, Guzman days, it’s nice to see Colin shining the light on how great being positive can be.
1:40 who the fuck chews gum in the gym 🤣
Dude!!!! I’m so hyped for these folks! I can’t stop smiling man!
Fucking love this. Y’all are legit angels for this motivating people like this ❤
I'm no elite powerlifter but have been training for strength for 15+ years now and I always find that the average gym bro has no idea how far he can push it. People stay in the gym doing the same 3x10 with 1 plate for their entire career. I don't get it, but love the push you gave these guys.
I agree. I find it strange. I have seen kids I went to hs with at my commercial gym benching 135-155 for 8-10 every, single, week. Never more weight never more reps. Idk what the point of even lifting like that is lol. Never once have I seen them go to failure or train in any other rep range either. Idk
Absolutely love this. You guys rock
best gym video ever...this is what the gym should be all about, help others strive!
I love your motivation for people you just met, its great to see.
👍👍👍 the mental support from strong people will overcome anything. Thank you.
Got chills when the guy hit his new max. Amazing
I need more please this was so refreshing to watch
I’ve been going to the gym for 20 years.. fell off for a couple years and got into some bad habits .. now sober and back to it.
I find it inspiring to motivate people. The smallest gesture will make someone’s day. I was working out today beside an elderly gentlemen ( looked to be in his 70’s). Both on the stair master . We both happened to glance over and I said with a smile “ we’re getting after it my friend” and you could see him light up . Had a quick chat , and we both took something positive from that small interaction. This is what the world needs more of.
Awesome seeing people unlocking thier potential with some motivation
Props... motivation is a fantastic tool to push one forward.
having a spotter and encouragement does wonders
I love this! Encouraging random guys, that’s awesome! 🙌🏾
Please do make more videos like theese, it's nice to see the gymbro community working out together ❤️❤️❤️ makes me hyped up
Love the support, great way to start the year!
This is absolutely AWESOME.
This is flipping awesome guys. I’m a small guy, always have been and i always feel intimidated when i see big dudes at the gym. It’s so amazing seeing you guys do this for others.
Was so happy for the dude who hit 225, prolly one of the best feelings ever. Glad y’all motivated him to push himself, keep rockin!🤙🏽🤙🏽
Love your energy, and positive attitude.
Love the energy you and your mates have!
Wooow this is the coolest fitness video I think I’ve ever seen never seen content like this before. Cool seeing people push themselves goes to show how positivity can rub off on you
This made me smile!! Well done guys!
This is one of the best gym videos I ever seen. Good job guys
gotta do more of these!! That's so awesome you get these gym bros to push themselves hard!
Literal proof as to how important having the right friends/collaborators is to your success in anything
