Just to clarify a few questions I keep getting:
1. I am natural and proud, but I get the cynicism. I want to show that impressive feats are possible without going the enhanced route. I myself was a byproduct of watching other natural lifters showing it was possible.
2. I enjoy lifting and progressing. I want to hit certain numbers first and then cut down to a certain weight class before competing in powerlifting. I play for the long game and growing takes time. There are other reasons, but that’s the main one.
3. I call myself an elite lifter mainly for the title being the most effective for you to understand the concept. I do have an elite total though too :)
True inspo and a legend 🙌
That’s crazy. I thought 100% you were juiced
Hes been lifting for 19 years, imagine 19 years of progressive overload!!!
Dang bro, benching 580 at like 220 lbs natural. You should juice to 300 and beat julius to 800.
Your strengh is world class even beyond enhanced guys. Congrats, you inspire me a Lot
When the guy added the 6th plate because he just assumed you had no limits was so funny!
Dude too true
He has no limit like John Haack
@@Raul-wd1jb Like Devon Larratt.
Unbreakable
I’m surprised he didn’t add three more plates
Your nerd disguise is a pair of glasses? I guess it worked for Clark Kent 😂 Awesome video as always!
I had baggy clothes, crocs, and lifting gloves too oh well 😂
The crocs are the ultimate showing of gym supremacy.
@@cweng bro you are big even in baggy clothes what are you talking about?
@@cweng I hate to break it to you, but if you think people can't tell you're massive because you have a baggy sweatshirt on, you are really underestimating yourself.
Oh well it's a pretty stupid concept anyway because it's not uncommon for lifters or bodybuilders to also be "nerds". The 2 are not mutually exclusive lol.
Them: "Hey bro, how much can you bench?"
Him: "225."
Them: "Oh that's heavy!"
Him: "Kilograms"
Still a lot😂
that would be over 500 pounds btw @@Deferrybouman
disguised a nerd with a body people fit in twice.. You sure wouldn't fool me haha
There’s no way Anatoly can clean this area.
It's nice to see I'm not the only one with these types of videos on my recommended
😂😂
B-but he has knowledge 🤣
It's big mistakes bro!
😂😂
The fucking 6th plate 🤣🤣 homie thought you legit could do anything (you can). Thanks for this motivational vid!!
Actually he benched like 265 Kg one time, so he could have done it.
@@predator5686he says he is natty, do you feel so?
@@zyzzzzzz7940 Honestly I find it very difficult as a thing. Colin is big and super strong (stronger than a lot of people who use performance enhancing drugs), he might be crazy genetics, but nowadays a lot of people lie on social media, so I'm not entirely convinced.
i dont really care whether hes natty. the message he shares is a net positive
@@livingmyjameslifeRN true
a big guy like yourself must've been through his handful of injuries, could you show us how you warm up for these insane compound lifts? love the videos! inspiration!
THIS
Stretch 100%
100% interested to hear your answer to this.
I've torn a rotator cuff 4 times, once badly (3 years ago... still haven't recovered).
Also have a bicep injury from lifting 4 months ago which won't go away.
Surely you've had some injuries?
@@svong8789 sad to hear, hope you recover fast, do you know how to avoid them? I've gotten my share of tendon injuries and I really don't want more of them.
@@gamedestroyer3070 i usually stretch between sets for a couple of sec and before. never had an injury
anatoly be like
Anatoly be like?? What? Don't understand 😮
Seeing your videos got me back into lifting. I stopped a few years ago but my totals are not too far off, if not the same as they were when I stopped now that Ive been training 5 months. Can't wait to see what I can achieve after a few years of really trying, and your videos honestly really help keep my focus on the long term. All the best.
What's your total
@@cubecomber9162 365kg
really good influence for the future generation of gymgoers keep up the good content
This wasnt a prank. Anyone who looks at this guy and is surprised by his lifting capabilities are substandard intelligence.
Definitely not true. Hypertrophy and strength are not the same things.
There are many people bigger than Colin that would fail on that 180kg bench.
Seeing someone jacked and instantly thinking he can do a 200kg+ bench will get you wrong most of the time.
Also, someone trying not to disappoint a fellow gym member who just failed their PR is not substandard intelligence, it's being friendly.
He looks like a lifter, not a nerd. Check out Anatoly
your videos inspire me to get stronger so much, thanks bro.
Colin is such a cool guy. So happy I've subscribed as his videos are just awesome 👌🏾
Thank you for being so inspiring, your videos pump me up so much. Ima go test my limits right now!!! 💪
You my friend are inspiring to all of us natural lifters! I admire your great strength and the content of your videos!
Ridiculous strength man. Much respect!
The last clip literally gave me chills! You are the beast!
Talk about shattering stereotypes! 🤓💪 This video had me hooked from start to finish. It's incredible to see an elite lifter who defies expectations and surprises the entire gym. A true reminder that you can't judge a book by its cover. Kudos to this 'nerd' for showcasing the power of dedication and hard work. 💥🏋♂ #StrengthUnveiled #LiftBeyondLimits
6:30 brutal kill on green shirt guy.
Lol but he got a spud at the end so it's all cool
I absolute love those positive Vibes in the Gym :)
Dude, that second prank at the college was HILARIOUS 😂 overall fantastic video--more nerd pranks please!
"I've been in the bulking phase for 9 years"
Thats what I keep telling my wife...
Colin is the Man! Love watching your videos bro! Keep them coming!!
"As I did an impressive lift back to back" super down to earth
A 9 year bulk phase?? bro you will have th most legendary cut
Yoo keep these videos up
I just watch this man lift heavy stuff before I go to the gym. He is my pre workout
Love your videos Colin. Really entertaining. You've got some sick strength!
if u are that buff and are doing half reps, i am not questioning u and ima jus support you 😂
size makes range of motion more difficult as well (thicker bodyparts/less mobility)
Yo I could watch this ever day, keep it up bro
Thank you for making such great content!
the leg kicking 😂
these gym pranks are too good hahaha
Love you bro you are my inspiration to get stronger🔥🔥❤️
true inspiration bro love your vids.
Killing it! Next thing we know Anatoly will be there asking if he can clean. :P
I just found out about this guy (which is crazy, because he has loads of views) would love to collab double cleaners 😂
@@cweng That would be INSANE! I just found him recently and binged all his videos.
if a square meter back walks in the gym i would never think it was a nerd , still i am very amazed with your lifts . keep lifting and thanks for the video greetings from belgium
You're an absolute beast dude! Inspirational
thats just insane!!!
This guy is honestly just different gravy
It's a beautiful thing too watch when people come together in this this type off environment, in this case the gym. Skinny or overweight, young or old. We all have the same goal... Improve ourselves.
I Wish everyone all the best and let's make some gains bros!
I wish you could spell.
Keep up the grinding bro 🎉
I love gym community man. I met a lot of positive people there
"I've been on a bulking fase for 9 years" basically the story of my life😂😂😂
I’d love someone to come along and humble this guy
Well not a lot of elite exist out there 😂
keep the videos coming!
Sir you just want me to go in to the gym after my workout 2hours ago 😂💪🏽
Yes, totally would’ve fooled me with the super wide shoulders. Lol would never know this guy trains. 😂 awesome stuff though! I would never be surprised to see someone built like you push numbers like that though. Lol
“I’ve been in a bulking phase for nine years”
Colin give me motivation before gym always 👑
You are my inspiration in working out. This might be late but Congrats in gymshark. 🤙🏼
Fu/$#ng awesome. Such power. At my age, I can barely lift a backpack.
6:30 bro in the green was left hanging😢😢😢
bro was going for the handshake while the tanks back was facing to him lol
dude lifts 225 like it's an empty bar
the gym community is some different bread bro, everyone respects eachother and everyone would spot you at any time.
1:07 gyattttttt
Hell yeah machine, when you getting to 600?
Love the content man!
435k subs... Wow. I was here last year when it was still 2k.
You're a genius, Colin. This was super entertaining. You finally found the formula on how to go viral with fitness content.
Ive been to the gym for 4 months, Im only benching 70kg/155lbs at the moment (3x8, so could probably max 100? I havent tried, Im a big dude at 105kg/230lbs) but your videos for sure makes me want to get to those insane numbers too! Its actually insane to me that people can lift this much, Id be happy if I got to 120kg lol. Inspiration as hell!!!
I've got similar numbers with 40kg a side I did 7 reps I warm up with 20 a side do 12 reps rest then 30 reps to get the blood flow then 30 a side for 15 reps 35 a side for 12 and as soon as I hit ten reps of 40 I will up it all by 5 kg I also work down once I've hit my max twice I think they call it pyrimid training I would recommend trying it
Wtf, I did 155lbs 10x4 after just 1 month of working out when I was 22. That's not even a young man's physical prime. I was like 195lbs so I was lighter than yall too. Physical prime pumping iron wise is like late 20s early 30s. I considered myself average at best. There were people at my local gym who were definitely on gear and were lifting weights like this dude.
@Prixmlol
Stay with it and maybe change your routine around a bit from what you're currently doing as a suggestion?
I realise it's a post a few months old so perhaps you have found a better approach since, whatever your current situation good luck, and don't give up!
We need more consistent content bro you would be the king of fitness UA-cam if you just uploaded consistently
IDK, all of his content is basically the same thing which is impressing people in commercial gyms. If he posted himself doing that like 3 times a week it may hurt his channel more than help it
I have to produce, edit, and do everything myself, but I'm trying bro
@@Justin-dr5uw It's just a documentation of my lifts in an entertaining way. Loads of people upload the same lifting or physique content every single day. I just need to get faster at editing
@@cweng I'm definitely entertained! There are others that do this but you are definitely the most creative. You just need to be careful if uploading too frequently that it doesn't get stale. If engagement drops the algorithm will push it down
Almost a decade of bulking jesussst, actual eternal bulk mode
Wow, those lines about the sense of community were really beautiful
Natural 🤓
Idk he seems natural i mean he's not super shredded or super buffed he is super strong tho . I genuinely think he is natural
@@lumen1715 Thing is gear doesn't have to make you look super shredded, hence look at most powerlifters who compete most of them look pretty average but are strong AF and most are using some PED's, can't hate though it is what it is.
@@victorsoto4821 ok what ever he lift weights that's what matter 😐 idc
@@lumen1715 why start an arguement then if you dont care and its just whatever, bruh :D
@@UnStop4ble i didn't agreed that he is not natural tho that's why
When a set is so amazing you start dapping up people around you.
Love it pls upload more often
That girl at 5:00 is happy finally seeing someone at the gym who can bench press her weight.
Not cool bro. She's there to lose that weight and here you are shaming her for it
That is the coolest nerd ive ever seen
Letss goo my new favorite youtuber uploaded
Damn that’s crazy you were at IM West, didn’t know you were an alum, spent hours there during my undergrad and grad. Sad I didn’t get a chance to meet you. Keep up the great work
