Forreal. Like they can make all these sets so obscure they’re based off of rare variant of an action figure but we can’t get things like Delta Squad, Republic Commandos in general, or the various named clones? It’s very confusing what’s going on

i think they went with purple is 1. mace windu's saber 2. so that this set would be more unique in general 3. minifig chasers will buy it just for the purple clones even if the build wasnt the best

First off amazing quality review. Secondly my thoughts exactly, clone wars style windu with what I believe to be legends style 187th. Why Lego would do that idk? But I also agree they’ve got to be the nicest troops released to far. Praying for more variants this summer drop.
I was bashing this set but this video convinced me to pick it up and build it with my 3 year old. The nostalgia for the OG Battlefront are real! And the figures are so cool and unique. Keep up the good work!

Thanks! Yeah I didn’t want to sit there and complain about something that most fans forget are a toy made for children. The investing stuff is also becoming incredibly annoying. The truth is investing in Lego is highly unpredictable, and the amount of time it takes to actually turn a profit can take years, and you make so little unless you bought loads of it. You’re not going to pay off your home investing in Lego. It’s mostly just bricklink sellers trying to drive traffic to their shops. A 100 dollar profit that takes over 5 years to get to isn’t good investing, it’s not a nice surprise if you decide to resale any of your sets or figs.
great video, though one thing I will point out is that while the 501st pack has more pieces, the tank has larger pieces. Like you wouldn't sell 100 studs for the same price as 100 4x4 bricks. price per piece is a very relative scale.

If you manage to sell the three of them you’ll make 35€ back from a 40-45€ set (depending on location) windu will be like the cheap kanan and that’s being generous, he’ll sell but rarely. This set is great but will hold no value outside of the clones once it’s taken of the shelves.
Lego Star Wars collectors have to be blind if they see $40 of value in this set. Lego is really taking y'all to the cleaners with these prices. A couple of years from now they'll sell a single figure for $100 dollars and the lego Star Wars fans will praise it for its inspired ingenuity.
