You should probably start with the set specific modifications, because if each sets with clones starts with weapons/accessories and tents, it might get old fast for a lot of people

@@Sanders3Studios can you pls start doing set specific mods ,as it’s getting kinda boring very fast with the same non set specific mods (tents ,Pauldrons ,flags etc )

These were some truly creative ideas!
Tip 6 and tip 8 are good mods! I completely removed the launcher on the cannons and extended the barrels using parts from an X-wing. Thanks for sharing.

Nice. I wanted to get two of the sets but they sold out 2 hours before I came to the lego store.
You can even give your clone troopers custom capes

For getting the holes out of the kamas and pauldron is using a hole puncher
IMO tip N.6 is the best one,it's simple and makes the tank look much more accurate,great video,keep un with the great work!
I’m getting this lego set and the last 501st battle pack, you know the one with the at-rt and speeder and it is for my birthday and I realised I had bearly any droids so I got a army of them
I'm just happy we got the 187th in Lego form, idk about anyone else but it seems to me like Lego cares more about Star Wars than disney does.
I recommend cutting off the sleeping bag part for the camping bags so they work and look better

To fix the gap, you can remove one of the pieces the canopy piece rests on.

The airborn trooper is an commander btw
I made mine look almost the same as the 2008 version, but I'm unsure how to show how to do it and I only got one so ripping it apart would be a pain
maybe take photos as you take it apart so you can rebuild it. :)

My tip: bin the tank and keep the figs
an iea for the thick visor you could get some plasticard for cheap cut it to size glue it with plastic modeling glue to the frame and paint it for a much nicer and cleaner look thats more permanent

The airborne trooper is actually Commander Nitroz, so even more of a reason to put on a waistcape :D
the commander has never been named in an official source either by lucas film or Hasbro, who created the 187th.

All you have to do to remove the gap is remove one of the pieces it sits on and move the other one to the middle then it can sit right in the notch on the piece
