I think part of what makes Lori so successful as a shark tank investor is her ability to understand what consumers want. I think the others (especially Kevin) are often thinking about the usefulness of the product in relation to them and that doesn't work because they're rich. Literally the first thing she said as she got up for the deal was that she's seen examples that demonstrate a need for the product.

I played tennis at a collegiate and semi pro level and the sharks have no idea how difficult it is to clean water bottles and containers and have them tasting like whatever you used to clean them for days.
They sold the company for pretty good profit in 2016 to hydrapak... the problem with this pitch is they were talking about water bottles they should have just said it was for cleaning the hydro packs because those are the things that are almost impossible to clean... anybody can clean a water bottle

This is a great product. The sharks just didn't believe in the entrepreneurs. That's why Lori insisted on a percentage where she could have either a controlling stake or equal partnership. Great smarts!
This was before these kind of products did well, guess Lori was the only one who knew.

Lori really has an eye for what the consumer wants.
Rich people don’t see a use for this (like kevin) because they don’t even wash their stuff, they have maids for that, so obviously they don’t know how hard / annoying it is for the average person to clean a protein shaker / tight bottles.
As a fellow mountain biker, I understand the problem! Fed up of throwing bottles away!
The reason why the majority of sharks didn't get it is because they're rich and they probably just use disposable water bottles. The rest of us buy a reusable bottle and refill it everyday.
the rest of the sharks are litterbugs....probably dont even try to recycle their bottles.....but I do, I use it til something happens that the bottle is too worn
As someone who loves water and drinks a gallon a day, I'm using chemicals to clean my yeti as well my filters. I think this product is a great idea.

Apparently you can as Bottle Bright was sold to Hydrapac according to others here and is available to purchase. It should come with the Camel Back. Someone said it works great in their humidifier.
Lori is the genius of the group. I actually need this product, going to buy some for my water bottle. Deal closed, and they got into retail before the company was sold. The product is still on sale w/ great reviews!

Tbf the smell of a shaker thats had protien shake in it, must be one of the worst smells ever. I have to wash it 2 or 3 times with dish soap to get the smell out, this would be pretty convenient

Good job Laurie recycling is the way to go. People are throwing those Bottles away every week.
1/4 bottle of water and a tablespoon of vinegar, close it up and shake. Let sit for a bit then rinse until the vinegar smell is gone. 100% safe and inexpensive. Any residual vinegar may be unpleasant but harmless.

Yeah....except the biggest areas where bacteria form in a bottle are the lids,mouthpieces, and threads....all of which this product never touches....

Not sure if you already know this, but you can put the lids with water in a bowl and use the tablets that way

besides the hydration packs, i could see this being useful for when ur away from home for whatever reason, especially vacations. but also could be used on humidifers or blenders/protein shakers and really any bottle/jar/jug that is either tough to clean or literally impossible cause u cant fit anything into it.

I’m confused how did they not test the biodegradable component of the tablets with a smaller batch. Unless they were working under a tight deadline or something.
It's a cool concept, for sure. It appeals to me, because it takes out the elbow grease in trying to clean out the bottle with some type of brush designed for bottles, if those exist. I hope their company grew over time. Shout-out to Lori for offering them a deal.

also some are almost impossible to scrub like those backpack bladders. You have to bleach them and let them set.

it's a great idea. Baby milk bottles, glasses, pretty much any liquid container and not having to get that residual bleach or soap taste (ahem Dawn, Gain, etc....).... Genius idea man... Kudos
I just use a drop of dish soap and shake the bottle. Rinse it out. Then enjoy a clean bottle.
it is a great idea, we have so many containers with different shapes n sizes which are hard to clean, materials which absorb smell with time if not cleaned properly , all we have is brush that doesn’t clean the base of the protein shake bottles very well, Lori got it❤

i don't know about this product but bottle collectors may find it useful. they may be your target consumer.

Looks like Lori was right all these years later. Mr. Wonderful was wrong, a whole lot of us want to drink water from our expensive water bottles that are CLEAN. I looked up Bottle Bright and it's got lots of 5 star reviews on Amazon so I'm ordering. I've been wanting to find something to thoroughly clean my stainless water bottle, something easy and natural.
I didn't know this product even existed. I'll be picking some up since it would be perfect for my BlendJet. I love the thing, but after a couple of post-workout protein shakes, it really starts to stink and I have the hardest time ridding the stench.

Astoundingly, Bottle Bright is still around today. The founders got out in 2016, selling to a water bottle company.
It seems like a ridiculous idea but shows what we know.
Actually a really good idea for hydration pouches. Lots of people use them and they are hard to clean. Mistake in marketing it.
Baby bottle brushes have worked great for my bottles, protein shake bottles etc

Honestly I’m on the other sharks side. To clean a bottle for a month will cost you the same as buying a new bottle. I just don’t get it. 8 dollars a package? You can get a solid water bottle for 5-10 bucks.

The amount you receive is a month’s supply at 8 dollars a package the other sharks was like why waste 8 dollars a package for a bottle that cost less than. Honestly you can get a water bottle for a buck so I would never bother with this product especially when you CAN use soap and water to clean a water bottle.
