The fashion industry is considered nearly impossible to penetrate compared to 30 years ago when Daymond broke through with street wear. I will never be a fraction as successful as any of the sharks, not in a million years, but they seem to be very ignorant to the fact that even they most likely couldnt have replicated their success in todays economy. I know the entrepreneur is essentially walking into their living room and asking for a large sum of money, rejection isnt my issue. Its the snide comments as and condescension.
Kevins got a point about how cheap tongs are already. I just bought one from Dollar Tree for $1.25 - its a half spatula half holder type tongs - it's decent.
The sharks are full of crap that no one says that about being all in on a venture. It's their status & wealth, they can afford to not deal with companies that will involve too much of their time & effort. At this point some of these sharks have made hundreds of deals, there is only so much they can put in to each company they invest in. The sharks appeal is that they can network a perfectly good product or company to give them broader market access, they aren't advisors trying to fix struggling businesses

I honestly rather buy regular tongs. It seems like a hassle that you have to get two forks or spoons and assemble the tongs every time you need to use either spoon or fork tongs. Its easier to just grab regular tongs instead of assemble tongs
I don't think you understand the purpose of his product then. It's not an "alternative" to tongs, it's just there in case you all of a sudden need more tongs and don't have the kitchen space to buy and store 10. It definitely makes things easier.
