👀Soup, for me, is one of the ultimate comfort foods. But what’s your favourite comfort food? We’re thinking of creating a “classic comfort foods” recipe video sometime in the new year :D
Mine is warm toast and butter..
Rice... Kinds of rice! Very quick to make and perhaps healthy!
Pick Up Limes I really enjoy eating soup, especially during winter season 😊 and pumpkin soup is my favorite.definitely gonna give all the soups that you made a try and thanks for sharing this wonderful recipes 🙏🏽
Something chewy filling and quick also salty to spicy 😙and more soup variations 😘am grateful for your wonders Sadia 💕from india
@Pick Up Limes Can you make more breakfast, pies, & cakes recipes?
I love the recipes but sometimes I'm here just to enjoy and appreciate the beauty of these videos, the photography is amazing!
Ive never made one of her meals, and im not vegan or vegetarian, but i just really enjoy watching her videos hahaha
Same. I come for the photography.
@@FitnessYogawithSarah Lovely, isn't it?
You read my mind twice during that paprika soup bit haha! "some sundried paprikas..." I thought: "Where would I find that?" and then you say "in case you're wondering, you'll find them..." and then again "add some croutons..." me wondering: "how do I make croutons?" and then you said: "In case you're wondering here's how you make croutons..." hahaha!
😂
That's cutee
holisticmaya never could source sundried paprikas, but I replaced it with sundried tomatoes. I make it all the time and it’s delicious!
I replaced with jarred roasted peppers/capsicum.
I have been dealing with anxiety lately. I'm not sure you ever intended these videos to be used in this manner, but if I'm feeling anxious, I pull up your video and watch and listen while taking some deep breaths. Just figured I'd let you know that your food videos are medicine for the body in more ways that one. 💕
I’m not a vegan, but I did all of them.
The lasagna soup its amazing and so tasty.
what? 2 uploads in one week! my christmas miracle!
Sadia, your videos have to be the most beautifully styled and shot that I have ever watched. Thank you for adding more coziness and beauty and inspiration to my days ! 💕
The beetroot soup is just amazing!! I have made it thrice. Even without the stock cube the flavours are amazing if some garlic is added with the onions.
I just want to take this comment to say how awsome it is what you are doing. You are helping people change their habits and their relationship to food and the enviroment by providing REAL information about the topic. We don't need to starve to be healthy, we don't need to let go of our favorite meals and most importantly, we can ENJOY what we eat and still be healthy. I think one of the biggest motives that make people eat unhealthy food is the lack of real information, the belief that been healthy is being slim and getting into crazy diets that you will never follow for more than a month, or even a week and giving up those delicious meals you are used to.
I've been watching your videos for quite a while now, and I can definetly say they've been helping me transitioning into lacto-vegetarianism. I think each of us have our own journey when it comes to animal consumption and food choices, and with my expierience so far, I realised that I am not restricting myself from eating what I love, but instead having even more things to love and appreciate. I'm gaining health, seep quality, clear skin and happiness, knowing that I'm working on my habits to build a better enviroment around me and others close to me. So thank you so much for being a part of this :)
Her: *garnishing with croutons*
Me: "I wonder how I can make my own croutons."
Her: "and in case you're wondering how to make some croutons..."
omg same hahaha
I have another way to make them, too. If you don't eat the ends of your store bought sandwich loaf, save them in the freezer. Then when you have enough season and toast!
I was about to say, you should do a blog on all the plant life you have growing in your kitchen, then I see on the right, plant propagation, 5 indoor plants for beginners. Happy days. Keep up the good work.
Realistically it’s just a video with 3 soup recipes. But for me it was a true art! Music choice, decor, slow motion and I think I’m forgetting something..oh yeah, Soups! They look delicious and simple to make. Thanks for sharing 🙂
I'm throwing my recipe request for the new year. I would adore a video on dressings for salads. Thank you for consistently posting quality content for people to enjoy and learn from. 😊
Sadia you are one of the few vegan youtubers I have seen who actually seasons her food so well i love it
The recipes are great but DAMN that cinematography and the color balance!!! I don't really know the technical terms for these, but the way you lay out shots like at 6:28, with the bread, olive oil and tomatoes.... it's so pleasing to look at!!!
Seriously, the camera game is on another level
Beautiful video Sadia! I can’t help but watch your videos more than once in one sitting. The first time I’m always mesmerized by the esthetics of your videos and of course pretty face ☺️ The second time is for the actual content. Anyway, thank you for the amazing work you do. Can you please introduce us to all your plants? I’m a plant fanatic just like you. Love the greeeens!
Soup is a hug from the inside, happy holidays 😘
The space you filmed this in looks so amazing. I love all of the plants. I wish I had a green thumb.
Ciera3823 , it's beautiful to me,as well ! 🔸✌🔸
Thank you, the paprika one became a classic in our kitchen since the posting of the video with variants but your recipe. So now at least 2 years later, a huge immense hug of gratitude. Thank you.
Please create a cook book with your amazing recipes. LOVE and PRAYERS with Gratitude
*SHES BACK THOOOO!!*
Hello queen
today I made the paprika soup...it’s divine, really good. I used sun dried tomatoes instead of paprika because couldn’t find those. Also skipped the bulion square because I have no idea what they are, put a small chopped tomato instead. Thank youu, looking fwd to try next soups
You're so professional in your videos. It's always a pleasure watching them.
Sadia, I am not vegan but I enjoy your channel. I just cooked your first soup and it is delicious. I love it! I shared it with some of my friends too! Thank you for all the amazing job that you do and for the inspirational soul that you are. Wish you all the best! ❤️
I made the lasagna soup and it was amazing! Such an easy recipe and clean up! I served it with some avocado on the side to dip into it and LOVED IT 🥰
Totally going to make ALL of these!! Thanks Pick up Limes for ALL of your amazing content!!
I always come back to your older videos (I keep up with current videos too, of course) because they are so comforting? I'm not sure what the right word would be but these videos are exactly like the soups they feature - a warm hug in a bowl. I think it's the perfect trifecta of aesthetically pleasing visuals, strong vocabulary to describe the dishes and a soothing voice. Haha I love it all.
How beautiful and soothing you are to your viewers’ eyes 😅 Loved your recipes as well as your cookwares.
I'm honestly so excited to go back to uni to try all these recipes! And I was wondering if you'd do a video on budget cooking or cooking for students/beginners? So like tips on saving money and time, and alternatives to specific kitchenware we might not be able to invest in to begin with etc. :)
Mmm thank u for these recipes! Soups in winter? Yes please!!
Today is my first day going vegan. I went shopping and stocked up last night at my local natural grocers and I stared with breakfast:
Organic rolled oats, 1 tbsp of raw honey, organic chocolate hazelnut granola and organic dried strawberries on top.
This is a HUGE change for me but I am approaching it without putting pressure on myself and an open mind, thanks to you.
I am so excited to make my lunch later, a lentil soup.
I've been checking out the 'Pick Up Limes' website for recipes and wanted to thank you for being so wonderful & making this so do-able for me.
Crystal Hoffmann how is it going ?
I totally loooove the content of the videos, the decoration, your energy, everything!!! Huge congratulations💗💗💗💗💗
Yeeeee soups are life in winter time! Thanks 😍
I love the look of all 3 of these soups. I will try them all. Thank you.
I just love how colorful your food always looks. so tasty and wholesome as well.
THAAAAAAAANK YOU!!!! SENDING YOU GUYS SO MUCH LOVE!!! STAY BLESSED!
I’m so inspired to have more soups 🍲 this winter. Realistically, I will probably just start with adding veggies to good quality organic boxed soups and enjoy 😊 from there! Nice warming images in this video! Thanks for sharing 🌸
I've always steered clear of beets because I never know how to use them, but that soup is BEAUTIFUL and looks so delicious! I might have to try it! Thanks for these recipes, I was just thinking about making a batch of soup!
Try to boil them, peel off the skin and chop them in thin pieces. Then put them in a bowl and make a dressing with vinegar, lemon juice, pepper, salt (you'll need a lot!), apple juice and a bit of water. Add clove and a bay leaf and let it soak overnight. Start with a little bit of everything until it tastes right for your preferences. The next day add a tablespoon of neutral oil (I recommend sunflower, olive oil has a very strong taste in this salad). That's the way my mom and my grandma always have made their beetroot salad and I think it's great 😊 without the oil you can store the salad in an airtight jaw in your fridge for nearly a week, maybe you have to remove the clove and the bay leaf before the salad tastes too strong
My family boils them, slices them into perfect rounds and then adds vinegar and sprinkle a bit of sugar and serve them as such along with our salads. We also like to dice them and put them into our potato salad and we call it "Russian Potato salad" though it has nothing to do with Russia LOL. But beets are amazing. My mother also loves making us beets and carrots juice during the summer months to cool us down, but she swears it helps with blood pressure and skin.
Anna Kivi beets are SOOO good. Roasted beets in Buddha bowls are such a treat
Hi, I am not much into UA-cam videos but I like coming back to your channel and the fact that am commenting also means you are doing a super work. Thanks for such beautiful content. 😊
I made the paprika zucchini soup with my own spin (used roasted red peppers because I didn't have sun dried paprika, used one fresh orange bell pepper and one fresh red bell pepper, light coconut milk). I made my own croutons from locally baked French peasant bread (no oil, added spices and simply used my toaster oven, they turned out crispy and delicious). It's a delicious, comforting soup and perfect for our cold February weather. Thank you for the recipes!
Woooooooooow. I am in love with the soup and breads. Ma'am your kitchen is heaven. MashaAllah. Love from Pakistan
You are soooo inspiring ......Thanku sooo much .....lots of love from India ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love, love, LOVE your practical hacks and warm, flexible-but-focused approach to nutrition

Hi Sadia! Happy 2019!! I just want to say that I am so happy about how your channel has grown. I remember subscribing when it was just hundred. I remember too when you reply in my husband''s email when we were figuring out my meal plan as I was just recovering from my small intestine resection. Thank you for sharing your passion. You are greatly appreciated..
OK this is the best thing ever, my love for soups is never ending and I am so glad that you finally uploaded a video on soups. Thank you so much. Much love to you sadia ❤️
I agree!
You use a lot of flavours that my family does not typically use abd it's really interesting to see such a different style of cooking, thank you!
thank you for the great recipes this year! It would be wonderful to see more meal planning videos in the new year - the tips have been great and it's extra helpful when there's a plan/schedule for the meals.
The quality and professionalism of this video is incredible
Is there anything more comforting than a bowl of warm soup?

The Pepper Soup turned out great and this time of year is perfect for soups. Thank you for the recipes. I will try the others very soon.
I did the heirloom beet soup for my family the other day and absolutely loved it!!! Can't wait to try the others!!
The lasagna recipe looks delicious! I’m sold!! I’ve got to cook the first and last recipe!! Thank you for sharing, excellent content.🤗
Such gorgeous and delicious soups! Thank you Sadia! ♥️
These recipes look amazing and your voice is so soothing. Great video Sadia!
Is there a trick to doing such a beautiful swirl with coconut milk? I’ve tried to replicate what you do, but the milk never looks so uniformly thick and creamy. Even so, the wholesome tastiness of your recipes always come through, and that’s the most important thing 😋
Before this year ends I just want to say thank you for being such of wonderful person. I found your channel like three weeks ago and I loved everything. Now I have a request for you, could you please make a video on how you take care all your plants 🌱? Please! Thank you and look forward to 2019 with more awesome videos.
I love your videos cause your voice is so calming. I cooked your lasagna soup and it was amazing good, OMG so good. Thank you for sharing this recipe.
I'm definitely going to try some of these soups! I love a good soup. I just came across your site while researching minimalism and decluttering and really appreciate your attitude towards life and food! Can't wait to see more!
A few EASY vegan pizza recipes would be a solid!
Yes please 😍
Substitute the cheese. Leave out the meat. Done.
Take a crust put some sauce on it, and add whatever toppings you like, pizza can be pretty easy.
Pizza is naturally vegan if you substitute the chease.
Great idea!
OMG. These soups look great.
I am hungry now.
Im literally CRYING bc the food u make is absolutely incredible. Ive dreamt of recipes like these... THANK U
Is there any more comforting that listening to you and watching all your videos?!.. 😍😘❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for all your amazing videos. Because of your positive easy approach to vegan food I am trying veganism for the first time in my 49 year life. I'm excited for this adventure!
I love pumpkin soup and also red lentil soup!!!😋😋
I love the style of your videos. Even the recipe ones are so calming :)
I love this! Thank you for creating such positive content on a regular basis. I love the way you've filled your space with plants and all things green. Being an amateur gardener(major emphasis on amateur), it would be great to learn more about the types of plants you have in your apartment. Happy Holidays!
I’ve finally did them all! I just made the Lasagne recipe and I personally enjoyed all three of them, but the fam had their different opinions on each. The beetroot soup was frozen for my own pleasure haha. Will be making them again in the future :-). Thank you, Sadia! ❤️
I made the first soup and i would recommend adding more spices and some salt too. But overall great recipe

Greetings to Mauritius! My sister-in-law and brother-in-law live there. She is Mauricienne. Bon Noel!
I just returned from Mauritius, I miss it already, it's so cold in Europe!! Merry Christmas!
@@TanjaHermann how nice. Joyeux Noël to you all 😊
@@nikedoesthings I can understand 😉 I hope you have been able to make the most of your visit 😊 best wishes to you
So many plants in the background 😍 thanks Saddia, this video was amazing in every aspect! Send you hugs ❤️ 😘
i just discovered you today and you are so down to earth, authentically happy, that brings me joy :) thank you!
Hands down everyone wants food like this.🥰 Only money prevents it. 😞
Michelle Delancra check out cheap lazy vegan.
The only more expensive ingredient is coconut oil which you can easily substitute
Undomiel how you substitute coconut milk?
@@ingainge3146 if you aren't vegan you can substitute it with cream, otherwise you can use soy cream, soy yogurth, or whatever vegetable milk you like with a teaspoon of starch (it will make it denser). Or you can eliminate it too
