Zero these ever go out suddenly? I was going up a hill and stopped just to check out the view, then when I went to go again, the car would crank but not start.
Accidentally started mine without a spark plug plugged in and I fear I caused the sputtering. Then again I turned off the car as soon as I noticed something was off.

Mine is having hill climbing problems... I'm going to check this out.
Did you end up figuring it out? Could be a clogged catalytic converter too, they get clogged from burning oil.
