As far as charging your batteries. Do you have a plug behind your Ikea dresser? If you do, you could get one of those extention cords that has a flat plug cover (so the dresser could still sit flat against the wall) and run that to the back bottom corner of your dresser. Then you could charge them whenever needed and they are hidden under your dresser... Just an idea 😊 ... on a side note, I love your new craft room!!! Great job!!!
If you store spray on its side it won’t spray right. It needs to be stored upright. I learned by experimenting storing mine on its side. I had to throw a lot of mine away.
Adding onto Rachel's idea, i actually drilled a hole in the back of one of my drawers, big enough for the male plug to fit then ran it down the backside of the dresser to an outlet. That plug was to a 6, 8, 12 electrical multi-strip so you can plug multiple chargers in at same time. (Usually need a bigger multi unit if the charger has the large square thing to plug in because it takes up 2 plug in spaces, so 8 would handle 4 chargers, etc, depending on how the charger unit is ...). Pull open the drawer and reach for a battery, volia.
Getting a craft room is so exciting! It makes you wonder how you ever were able to craft in the dining room lol (not that that’s a bad thing, I just have a TON of supplies) I also just redid my craft room and I am really enjoying it, makes me want to be creative. And your space is beautiful, great job!!
Hi Alli! Join the wood hoarders club!!!🙋🏾♀️ I LOVE buying and crafting with wood! Although I have waaay pieces of scrap wood lying around than I use. Lol!
Love it!! I think I would put another gold cabinet pull *handle on the other end of your dresser and put the bright yellow clamps out of sight. You did such a beautiful job wit the colors, they kind of stick out. *Just my opinion. I imagine you can find something "crafty" and more eye pleasing to put on that end or just leave it as a handle. Can't wait to see what new crafts you do in your new room!
Everything in its place and a place for everything. I recently found a discarded tall table and am in the process of restoring it. Going to chalk paint it and ordered acrylic sheets for the top inserts. Adding my own design touches to make it pop! Great job with designing your craft room to make life easy peazy!👍
Love the shelving with the lights. 😍 We're moving next week and I've been looking for inspo for an office/craft space/homeschool room. The room I'll be using is such an awkward shape with a woodstove in the corner, but I think shelving like this would be great. It all looks beautiful.
Suggestion - put your chargers in the riser you built for your dresser. Is there an outlet near your dresser so you can leave the chargers plugged in. I noticed you put were putting some cut offs in that area.
Your Ikea dresser makeover looks amazing! It is gorgeous! I love what you did with it!❤ Your craft room looks amazing! You did a beautiful job on everything! Thank you for sharing!❤
You did an amazing job of organizing your craft room. It's beautiful, uncluttered, and everything is accessible and handy. I can't wait for diy video from your new space. Well done!
Love the craft room !!! You could make a charging station on the side of your apothecary dresser - the side facing the wall ..looks like you have a plug on that side ❤

Excellent idea, great product. I think I first saw it on Alexandra Gator.

The craft room looks great, and you could always use that felt to line a few drawers.

I have never been inside an Ikea before and it kinda bothers me that you cannot buy anything from them online. 🙃 😳😕😒🤔
You can order online but shipping costs are ridiculous
