Alcoholism is not a disease. It is a learned pattern. Tell people it's a disease and you'll think you can't quit. It's not true. We can quit with some effort on our own and the staying sober is where we need to work hard at it. If we believe it is a disease we think,"I guess it is impossible." And give up.
@@biblebeliever1754 Thank you I appreciate it. I have created my own program for myself that has been successful for me. In time I want to create a short ebook on this Addiction, not disease. I wasn't really serious until 3 rehabs later I saw $20k gone and no results. I created my own. Pip on You Tube has video's at "Help with Alcohol Addiction." He is the closest one to what I know works. I may do some videos at a later date on my channel.
I live in Louisiana and he said 15% have an issue w alcohol. I think that number is very low or it seems to be for here. I think over 50% of those of drinking age have an issue w alcohol.

you seem to be saying similar things as the doctor. he says "disorder" as well as "disease". We can get hung up on one word and miss what is being said.

@@DevinNerison God bless you, Devin 😀
Fucking idiot. You can treat diseases. To say that labeling it a disease makes it a futile effort is beyond ignorant.
