Mark, absolutely brilliant, mate. As my mate 'The Diving Fisherman' says, stunning views and some beautiful fish. Well done with your PB's both lure and dead bait. , You've gotta be there to catch 'em. Some of that weather was horrendous. Well done. (just clicked the notifications bell, I won't miss them in future)
Hi mate. Glad you liked it. Good to get a bit of feedback. Been thinking of packing in the filming and FB as not many showing much interest which makes you think is it really worth it . Thanks again 👍
@@canalpiker7546 I feel your pain mate - I know how much effort goes into making even a short / basic vid - and all of yours have been really good (the ones I've seen). It's why I only bother occasionally too - at the end of the day, we can all watch our own clips without sharing - but sometimes, it takes seeing someone else's clip to motivate me to get off my backside ! I appreciate them mate - cheers
Most of my pike fishing is with mono as braid is banned on a few waters. When fishing with braid I have noticed similar marks i believe it's from when you've striking/settings the hooks. Might just be that mono gives a little bit more so doesn't make that sort of mark. But braid is better for many other reasons so it's hard to be too critical of it. Really nice fish well done. How much did the boat cost and what name is it.
Estwaite in the lake District. It's near Hawkshead. Great Venue. If it's pike your after then don't be fooled by all the pictures of great fish on their FB site. It can be a tough venue where lots of people go and blank . 👍
Hi Phil. No fault mate. I have a full winter of footage to edit of piking in the Lake District from last winter that I hope to do. I have been fishing lately but not for pike. I will be back on FB soon. Just having a breather 👍
Hi Mark, good to hear, I’m looking forward to seeing the footage. Went out yesterday, tried a Mepps, first fish: Perch 3 ozs. Five minutes later Second fish: pike 9lbs 8ozs, on the same lure! You couldn’t make it up 🤣 tight lines mate 👍
@@canalpiker7546 Yeah, fine thanks Mark, not really been out much this year, my Mum, 95, is not too clever and we can’t leave her. Still buying the gear though, another rod due tomorrow! But when will I get to use it? Take care mate and hope to see and hear from you soon. Good luck tomorrow. Tight lines, as the lucky ones say 👍
love the camera work, but you need to learn how to handle pike safely, for there sake, pike are being wiped out by our new polish residents, need to take off them

Cheers. I guess a lot of us watch stuff that entertains us but we just scroll on by to the next clip without any acknowledgement. Keep at it 👍

There hire boats. I pay for the six month pike season ticket which is autumn through winter on this lake.
And good fishing
Think through first fish and 3rd are the same with that scar across the middle. What was the time frame be interesting to know
I’m going ere soon looks great
Which water is this mate?
which lake is that?
What is this called?
I see a couple of them have otter damage on the tail fins, and Jim isnt concerned about the otters in there.
Hi mate looking for a few days fishing for me and my little lad this winter. Where is this?

Hi Mark, hope all is well? Not seen any vids of late so was wondering if there was a fault with my system. Take care mate ⚓️

Always willing to learn. What do you mean by need to take off them ???
Yeah, so what do you think he’s doing wrong?
