- Lure fishing for Perch on lake Windermere in the Lake District. Micro jigging is my favourite way to catch perch and it's easy to see why! Yeah plenty there! They might've moved on to the deeper water by now but it's a really good spot for sure

Where abouts on coniston? This was on the West Bank mate, that’s all I can say I’m afraid it’s not my spot!
@@adventurefishinguk yeah I understand haha. I’ve hired a boat before from the boating centre next to the blue bird cafe at the north of the lake. They let me take my rod out on it! I Trolled some crankbaits behind the boat and got onto a few nice ones. They seem to be everywhere like in Windermere though. So any spot would probably work!

Nice one I really enjoyed the video, one question though, what is the casting weight of the rod you are using?
Thanks mate glad you liked it! Im not sure exactly but I use it around 1 gram to about 10. It has interchangeable tips to change the cast weights so i think with the shorter tip you can go up to 20, 15 at least. The longer tip is very comfortable casting as low as 2

Where about is this spot on Windermere I’ve had around but I can’t find it
Spot was told to me by someone else so I can’t say unfortunately! If you get out looking you’ll find some great places to fish on Windermere
How do you find spots on windemere
Google maps and internet research mainly!
@adventurefishinguk looked into it a lot of the bank is private by the looks of things, would a kayak be beneficial
