- quick little tip video just showing how I work my lures when fishing for pike. this isn't the only way to fish shads and swimbaits, just how I enjoy doing it and find that I get the best results!

*It's great caught caught a brown trout on the first cast. **enjoyable.fishing** recommend if it was a little smaller it would be more effective for different species*

Dom I've noticed from watching underwater Ireland pike tend to follow the lure for a long time I reckon they are waiting for the proper presentation to strike love the channel pal 👍

Hi, great video as always I'm just starting to get into big lures and shads and things. I'm getting a bait caster set up for Christmas was sort of set up should I get weight wise ect? And reel to suit. Also how do you go about rigging shads like that? Thank you

Thanks for your last w3 powershad reviev. I was unhappy of my rod (DAM IMPULSE BIGBAIT to150g) was to stiff. I was looking for somthing lighter with soft tip and big power and thats it! This rod is amazing you can throw 20-200g no problem. You feel every move of bait and even small pike gives you fun.
You are wery good angler so give more tips in your vids! Show how you retrive swim baits jerk (westin swim) - I still have problem whit that. Mayby you will explane on what depth you catch why 10g not 25 grams for example etc.

Which Lureweight do you choose for which water depth? If you fish ~18-20 cm lures?
0-5 gr for 0,2 to 1m , 5-7 gr for 0.5-1.5m , 7-12 for 1,5- 2,5m , 12-20 for 2-4 m . But it's depending on the lenght/thickness and volume of your Lure , also the speed of retrieve change a lot

Don't really think there's a "best lure" and you can catch huge pike on 2inch soft baits
