Even at age 69; I still love to listen to all these guys. Part of the fabric of my youth & will always remember the fun times we had growing up & listening to thes guys. The world is so different now
Long live the memory of the talented and handsome Davy Jones of the Monkees. Once a fan of the monkees, always a fan of the monkees, after all, "hey hey we're the monkees".. R.I.P Davy Jones, you will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you for the music O:-)
Even though they are now gone, it amazes me just how alive they will always be to their legions of fans. Generations to come will look on these performances and think just how lucky our generation was to have such talented people entertain us.
I can't avoid feel sadness for the lost of Davy, but I think is more that just that, probably because the Monkees remind us of a society and world that was more human, of what we have today.
Innocence lost and sadly dead. This new world is something else. . . It's a collective - you agree or die. The 60s and 70s are dead- sad times today. ua-cam.com/video/cWpRY0flS2U/v-deo.html
Something about Daydream Believer gives me pause and makes me overcome with emotion, that was my mother's era and she always tells me how truly good it was then as compared to now. All we can do is try and keep the wholesomeness alive ourselves.
lenny zaroff ... sure nuff right! Today it’s stupid JUNK, oversexed and filth! My kids had been watching spongebob UNTIL I discovered how dirty that was too! Our kids need a real awakening, but unless parents wake up and set a foot down, they’re going to continue to get an early education in filthy, vulgar venom!
I knew I saw Mickey Dolenz there. MD, PN, DC - awesome. None of them got the respect they deserved in the media, but we the public, we loved them and still do. RIP Davy Jones and David Cassidy. Thank you.
Wow who could believe this back then. God bless you two Davids god rest your souls love to you both David Cassidy 21/11/2017 and the lovely Davy Jones my love forever love xxx Great Music Keep it up guys love you loads xxx
I STILL cry every time I hear Daydream Believer by anyone. The Monkees were a HUGE part of my childhood & I still miss Davy. This IS Davy's song, from the first time he sang it to the last time he sang it.
Was heartbroken with the loss of Davy. Huge Monkee fan, Hermen's Hermits & of course Loved David. Listen to their music all the time. Think tribute was great
I could sit here and cry. I got a little blue suitcase record player and the first Monkee record for Christmas when I was 8. So many years ago when you had no expectations. If we could go back and live it over before our real life started.
Just awesome, so happy to see them paling around and so cool to hear David sing lead on the last verse of Something Good! RIP David, you will always be missed! Interesting that David Cassidy, Micky Dolenz and Peter Noone all played Manalapan Day in New Jersey separately!
three wonderful fellas...memories of David come flying back as I remember seeing him when I was a kid of 14...Randwick Racecourse, in Sydney 1974. Always a Mokees and Hermans Hermit's fan ♥
Do any other 'boomers' feel like all of our musical stars are starting to fade and disappear? Our time, like water, is slipping between our fingers faster and faster now. I wish us all, good memories of the BEST YEARS (and music) of our generation. 🌟⭐
What a Beautiful Song, What a Beautiful Tribute to Davy Jones. When the Whole audience started singing the Chorus of Daydream Believer, it gave Me GOOSEBUMPS!!! The rest of the video is also Very Great, Well Worth Watching!!!
Recorded from the audience at the Westbury Music Fair.. or now called the "Theatre at Westbury".. Westbury, Long Island-New York The best place to see a show. 3 amazing talented Guys. So sad.. that David is now gone.
Thank you so much for doing this for us. It truley was a great thing. I miss him, but I know he's somewhere up there looking down smiling at us. Saying I won the race.
RIP Precious David and Davy.... I'll never forget you David or Davy in that episode of the Brady Bunch. I wasn't the same for days after watching that. I wanted to be Marcia Brady so badly it wasnt funny. And David, I've never recovered fom the images or clips of you in that white laced up jumpsuit with hips to rival a Greek God. Sorry for typos. Not wearing my glasses.
Yes, they did; great chemistry! The entire cast contributed to a distinct and synergistic exchange; fascinating and fun to observe the merging of their diverse musical styles. Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ
Thanks for uploading this video. I was at this show. It was obvious that everyone was still reeling over Davy's death, present company included. I almost broke down when his name was mentioned. Yet I had to give a lot of credit for the way Micky, Peter and David(may he rest in peace)performed "Daydream Believer" by inviting the audience's participation--it was like they were saying that even though Davy wasn't physically there, he was there in spirit.
Jill M Izzoe Me too, my whole childhood passes before my eyes watching these guys and listening to Daydream Believer, of course!! 😢The best decade in history to have grown up in! (just my biased opinion)😍😍
I love Peter Noone & have seen him 4 times in concert, but never with the "Herman's Hermits" because I was only a little kid when they were famous. It was during one of these recent concerts (I believe it was August 31, 2012) that Peter sang "Daydream Believer" as a tribute to Davy Jones of the Monkees. This is a song I really love, so it was very bittersweet)
They were so funny saluting Davy Jones. I loved them all. Now if Peter Noone and Micky could get over themselves. They think they are such smart alecs. Peter came to Indiana and made fun of us years back. But he must not have minded the money, since he was here again last week. I thought of going to his An English Christmas show in Shipshewana, Indiana. Your music is great, man, but your attitude stunk years back when I saw you in Warsaw, Indiana. You called us Hicks and hillbillies. I got to talk to you and shake your hand, while you gave me an autograph, but I could tell you did think I was a hottie enough for you. You are aging well,Peter Noone. Not all of us do. I think Davy Jones was beautiful inside and out. David Cassidy is beautiful inside and out. Micky and Peter Noone are big-mouths and don't think think before they speak. If you guys resent thinking of yourselves as has-beens, too bad. You got your time in the limelight and it has faded. If you two want to thought of fondly after you have died, you better start treating us fans better. We fans make or break you. David Cassidy told us he appreciated us fans after his last concert. Davy gave us a great encore performance in South Bend, Indiana. Too bad Peter has to come to Warsaw or Shipshewana to perform now that he is old. Stop your bad jokes about Indiana, if you want us old fans to remember and welcome you back to Indiana. My friend from New York got to meet the Monkees in person. She said Davy was a peach and very polite to her, even if she was an old lady, and not hot any more. Maggie said Micky was rude to her. So guys remember, even if you are talented, we fans do talk about you personalities in real life. We still love David and Davy after death. Danny Bonaduce is coming across as a hero. David Nelson became a great guy after Ricky's death. What do you want to be remembered for, Micky and Pete? I hope you don't want to be remembered as jerks and assholes. Staighten up and act better. At least Charlie Sheen cleaned himself up in time. David Hasselhoff cleaned himself in time also. Poor David Cassidy waited too long But he will now be remembered as strong and brave til the end. It broke my heart to see him tell his fans how lonely he had been and in a dark pit. He pulled himself out for his son to be proud of him. His last concert will be one to remember, because he told us fans he loved us back. Wow,!! We wont' forget him ever. Micky and Peter become more like them. I like your singing alot, but I don't you guys personally. Yikes, I don't know anyone who does. You remind us of big spoiled brats.
I was at this show, and I loved it. It was beautiful thing they did for Davy, and I love them all very much, they all are my friends. And I miss both of my David's alot.
I remember sitting on a chair at my Nans listening to Peter Noone and Hermens Hermits singing There's a kind of hush! I was only about 7... then watching The Monkeys on tv and the funny things they did. I probably was about age 8... I thought Davy Jones was going to marry me lol... Then a few years later about 11 I came across David Cassidy not on the Partridge family just on the radio I feel head over heels with hes voice. Never knowing what he looked like until I was 12, wow that's hard to believe i know. I still love and follow David Cassidy.... this tribute has taken me back to a happy place and happy memories so thank you so much for sharing xxxc
Wish Davey had been there! Wish I had been there! Made me cry..... A very emotional song for some of us. 50s and 60s,.........best of times in many ways!
I am 69 years old. Grew up with The Pqartridge Family and The Monkees. Now the only Monkee left is Micky Dolenz. Plus I recall him from Circus Boy as well Then the sad loss of David Cassidy as well. Where does the time go? So scary but we still have these videos to relive the good times. The music industry isn't like it was then...Eloise
RIP David Cassidy who left us today 21/11/2017. Now in heaven singing great songs with his best friend Davy.Thankyou for the music guys.
Rest in Peace Davy and now David. Loved you both.
I just saw Peter Noone at Disney's Epcot. He was fabulous. And he sang Daydream Believer. He still looks and sounds great
Loved all them.
David Cassidy - gone too soon! He was wonderful performer, as is Peter Noone.
Even at age 69; I still love to listen to all these guys. Part of the fabric of my youth & will always remember the fun times we had growing up & listening to thes guys. The world is so different now
I just saw this, now we have lost both David's, and as someone else said...a better world we lived in back in the day.... I miss it so much!!!
Miss the innocence of the age... Peter Noone's song just brings it all back.
Brought back a lot of old memories of life and loves of a 12 year old girl. Will miss you David and thank you for all the wonderful music 😍
Long live the memory of the talented and handsome Davy Jones of the Monkees. Once a fan of the monkees, always a fan of the monkees, after all, "hey hey we're the monkees".. R.I.P Davy Jones, you will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you for the music O:-)

@@catherineferguson7646 yes he’s long gone it’s just Mickey left now that Mike has passed too.
Peter Noone is very much alive.
@@AlwaysAcknowledgeHim Oh yes lol I meant Peter Tork
Peter still got something good. A great voice
It's these kinda moments that are so precious in time......so glad to see this love among these great artists. It's priceless ❤
You're so right Grace ...I love to see their bondingvxx
I can't avoid feel sadness for the lost of Davy, but I think is more that just that, probably because the Monkees remind us of a society and world that was more human, of what we have today.
AMEN I totally agree with you it was a totally different world back then even though i was child and part of the Bubblegum sound years
Innocence lost and sadly dead. This new world is something else. . . It's a collective - you agree or die. The 60s and 70s are dead- sad times today.

So true. Life was a lot simpler back then & I think because we were younger, we didn’t have today’s worries & the speed at which life goes by.
Something about Daydream Believer gives me pause and makes me overcome with emotion, that was my mother's era and she always tells me how truly good it was then as compared to now. All we can do is try and keep the wholesomeness alive ourselves.
