sadly i only read an average of like 2 books a month so for the monthly stats, ill be doing quarterly stats lol. also, a great idea would be to add a book bingo! it definitely diversifies your reading and its really fun to keep track of!
i think this may be my favorite reading journal setup I've seen. it has everything I'd like to put in my reading journal... if I ever bought a journal and put in the effort to actually do it lol. thank you so much for sharing! 💕
Your spreads are gorgeous! ❤ I, too, am such a big statistics girlie, so I also track my book log about three different ways. 😂 Maybe your last reading challenge could be reading a book from your friend's TBR or a book your friend didn't like to see if your opinions differ on it?
Hi ! For your manga series tracker, some have a title but the majority are "Chapter titles". You could maybe write "Chapter 01 to 10" when a volume doesn't have a specific title 🤗
that's a good idea too! i think i'll do that.. i still haven't filled in those spots in my journal because i'm too afraid to commit to something. but i think this is the direction i'll go in, thanks for sharing!
Welcome back, Kari! Missed your videos, but hope you had a lovely holiday period 🙂 I finally did my own 'proper' Entertainment Journal this year, incorporating books/video games/tv/movies (but mostly books) and had a blast doing it, too. It's a mess, not fancy at all, but it's ME and I love it, and it's fun to flip through and add my stuff to it as I progress through 2024 🙂 Mine's very basic, as I'm not into statistics at all. Guess I'm more of a 'lists' kinda girl XD PS: Just finished Rouge by Mona Awad yesterday, and what a crazy ride! Got a little teared up at the end. Now I guess I'll have to read Bunny, and add that to my 300-odd books on my TBR haha📚📚📚 🤣
Thank you!! 😊 I hope you had an amazing holiday season as well! Ooh your journal of all types of entertainment sounds really cool. It doesn’t matter how the journal is set up as long as it works for you and makes you want to keep up on it!! That’s awesome you read Rouge! But yessss obviously you have to get to Bunny soon now!! 💖🐰
Ahhh so happy I stumbled upon this video! I have been looking for more inspiration on reading journal spreads and what to add, I cannot wait to start! 🥰Thank you for this awesome video!
I also track things like books in translation, books with disability representation, Own Voices books, and number of BiPOC authors I read. You may blend some of that in with other stats though, but since I *reeaallly* need to diversify my reading, I make a point of adding spreads for that.
thank you! 💕 most of them are from @yumemoonstudio but a couple are from @couleurpasteque, @annalunak, and @mrsbutterd.. I credit each creator briefly on screen when I turn the page to a new spread, if you’re interested in a particular washi. all of their shops are linked in the description box 😊
I like to keep track of the demographics of the author and the main character! What is their gender, race, sexuality, etc? Last year, I ended up realizing that I read basically 90% female authors, LOL. I'm trying to branch out and read more from the dudes. xD

quarterly stats would be just as fun to complete 💖
love the idea of doing a bingo, I’ll have to add that in, thanks for sharing!
so much fun!!! wish you an excellente reading year!!!
thank you Francisca! i’m wishing you the same! 💖

Or maybe the "arc," like the Sailor Moon "Mercury appears" arc and then the "who is Sailor V? arc", etc.
that's a good idea too! i think i'll do that.. i still haven't filled in those spots in my journal because i'm too afraid to commit to something. but i think this is the direction i'll go in, thanks for sharing!

The washi tape collection is adorable! Where’d you get it?

it has taken me a month and a half to read one book this year so far. It's February.
the most important is that you’re enjoying what you’re reading!! 💖
Goodreads did a list of books where someone sleeps over a day.
Haha that’s so random they did that! That will definitely be helpful if I want to mark off that challenge, thanks for letting me know!
Couldn't you cut a little patch out of an empty page at the back of the book and tape runner it over where you misspelled the word, and re-write it?
That’s a good idea, I will try that! Thanks for the suggestion 😊

@@ExLibrisKari :3 You're welcome! I loved your spreads! Very aesthetically pleasing and organized for my Virgo brain. xD
Are you a vegan?
I’m a vegetarian but an aspiring vegan ☺️
