Didn't expecy Legacy Console to be a lesson in history about quality vs quantity. Here on Java we really do need it with stuff like performance... oh man the performance...
I’ve been really enjoying the attention legacy console has been getting in the last year, every part of it is so cool and honestly makes it the most polished Minecraft version by far. I’m gonna be honest I really can’t remember far before I started playing this game, and the memories I’ve made on it are insane
@wackofeather on xbox one edition im trying to get skin pack 1 but I it's not showing in minecraft store. Is it just my game or are all of the versions lacking the download of skin pack one. I really want the squid skin😢
i loved playing minecraft on the xbox as a kid :) me and my siblings used to play with each other all the time, it's good memories! we used to love exploring the tutorial worlds together
Console edition really is the best edition, and would 100% be the best version to play on if it was still getting updated. I remember playing on PS3 and then switching over to PS4, the excitement of waiting for the next update and seeing what new skin pack or mashup pack would be added, the few bugs that existed and were patched super quickly, all the worlds and memories made in it, man... it was something else. I've spent so many hours on it, built so many things, and had so many ideas for future builds I've never gotten around to. Bedrock can never compare itself to console edition, ever. Also, in my opinion, PS4 edition is the edition to play console edition, since it was the one updated the longest and got update aquatic features.
If I had a PlayStation I would have played ps4 edition as a kid. At the same time, the fact that Minecraft Legacy Console on the Xbox was updated all the way up to 1.12 means that it is truly the last “classic” edition of Minecraft, which made it a cooler edition to revisit after all these years.

One of the big things I miss is the old crafting, but Mojang probably could just add it back in and it would be a huge improvement.
I agree with you so much on the whole bedrock stance, I have said for so long how bedrock looks like shit compared to the legacy console edition since there is no gamma and it is too saturated. In bedrock, now you have to manually turn off your music audio to listen to music discs by themselves and often forget to turn it back on which is pretty annoying

It would've been cool. Honestly I sort of like the limited size of the Legacy versions but the 360 and ps2 versions are a bit cramped especially after all of the updates and added biomes they added over the years.
I miss playing my Xbox 360. I had a big open world with my brother. We had cozy little homes, mine on a mountain, his on a small hill. We had a big woodland mansion just 50 blocks away from us, which for some reason we always spawned near. The world was called "Turd Survival" because yes, poop jokes were still funny back then. I've played this version of Minecraft since 2014 when it released on PlayStation 3. And if I ever play Minecraft these days, I always play this version for a multitude of reasons.
I played Minecraft on my cousins Xbox in 2012 , then later got Minecraft when it came out for ps3 in 2013
I played Minecraft Legacy Console Edition. As much as I love bedrock, I miss this one.
For some reason i am obsessed with XBOX 360 minecraft because of how bright and colourful it is
I grew up on Xbox 1 edition and I still have it
Personally I have always loved Java because of the mods, maps, and capability’s. But 4J really did great on Xbox 360. They need a lot of updates and changes to make it better then Java again

Xbox 360/Xbox One Editions were what I grew up playing. It's now been 11 years and it's still my favorite version of the game. Something about it just hits different.
