For most people that will charge it at night battery life seems great if it can get me through a full day.
Galaxy watch all the way at the moment, that battery life sells it for me, why Samsung downgraded the battery for the watch 3 is anyone's guess. Bad move on their part.

I am going to guess because the watch is a little smaller but I also know Samsung has a technology so I think they had the ability to increase it I just don't know why.

I have the GW and the GW2. I gotta admit, the GW is heavy. Making it lighter is a huge selling point for me to upgrade to the GW3
It's great. I want sure I'd like the styling as much but I really like it now and yes, the lightness is a huge improvement.

It's a shame that the battery life suffers when you use the watch for what it's actually for, I do a lot of hiking and like to record my walks with the GPS, the thing is with that turned on I am at 50% battery life within a few hours.

You're like me... I want my watch with EVERYTHING on. What's the point of looking at a dead screen that has to be woken up to see the time? My Galaxy Frontier S3 gets put on its cradle at night anyway, so whether it lasted three days wouldn't matter anyway. I typically have 30% ~ 40% left after 12 hours.

Great review, my battery barely lasts for a day without running many apps. If I use my watch to reply to text or calls forget it. I charge my watch at least once or twice a day which for me is very inconvenient. Sadly the main reason I bought the watch was for the text and call feature while at work. I sent it in for the warranty and I'm hoping it is just a defect.
I've watched all the comparisons from the GW vs GW3 and I went to the Samsung website in Canada and they have the GW IN $280 CAN and the GW3 $600 + a Wireless Charger Duo Pad (which worth $130 CAN).
I like the design of the GW3 better since I come from a fossil g4 but I am very interested in the durability of the GW battery.
My question is, should I buy the GW and save 300 Can dollars or should I buy the latest version plus the charger as a gift?

It's not about having cash to give my thing is why give extra money to begin with at the end of the day we should be paying for worthy equipment considering how much this stuff cost . I got the money but I tell you one thing I'm not donating nothing extra at all it's about time we start getting our money's worth and the Galaxy watch does just that

@@HucksWorld I just got my Samsung Watch3 Lte 45 from Samsung's website for $85 with $160 trade in for my Gear S3 Frontier. I actually only paid a $188 for the S3 Frontier in Dec 2018.

That's weird I run every morning 45min to 1 hour no GPS ,the watch has been on my wrist for 3 days,2 nights with sleep tracking,receiving and replying to text an im still 25% so to me it's excellent coming for an apple watch series 5.I didn't have to turn off everything to get this battery life but most of the settings are factory.
