How to fix battery drain issue:
Disable everything on your smart watch and turn it into a walmart casio
😂😂😂
Why would you EVER turn off Bluetooth? That's the only way your watch has to communicate with your phone? That would turn it into a dumb watch, no?
every step in the video made me laugh harder. I was waiting for him to say.. "ok.. now if your having the bafery drain issue then just turn it off when your not using it and this will fix thr drain issue."

More often than not, you don't need bluetooth. Outside of notifications, what for? Most apps don't need your phone that much, if at all.
I also have my location on because I live on a big property and if I have an accident, people can find me. My watch has saved my life twice. Unfortunately, it now runs out of battery in a matter of hours. Painful. Should I buy a new one is the big question.
My watch 3 is a "stand a lone" device. Why would I buy a watch if I have to carry my phone in my back pocket? No thanks! I can leave my phone at home and my watch works off it's own data plan 😊
Ok..After wasting 4 days on this, I think I have a fix and maybe an explanation. I purchased a new battery and installed it, and for 3 weeks I was getting just over 3 days of battery life, better than my day and a half I was getting. But one day I woke up and had 5% left on my battery which was a big surprise, I was expecting another day at least. So I put it on the charger and got it to 100%, but noticed that within an hour I was at 85%. I changed watch faces, did EVERY trick ever listed or conceived including shutting down Bluetooth. Now my "smart" watch was just as dumb as my casio, and I wasnt even using an always on display. it was still discharging like mad. within the next 6 hrs I was down to 11%, and that was with nothing being used. This was bs. I did a factory reset and wiped out all my watch faces, got rid of my watchmaker app, and used a low OPR face, less than 7%. had Bluetooth on and nothing else including the location being off as well. within an hour I was at 92%. by noon I was at 48%. It was still like the damn flashlight app was on or something, no Idea wth was happening here. Without going through the laundry list of supposed fixes and multiple factory resets, I figured something was actually active regardless of what the sw was telling me. So, Having been a Cellular technician most of my career, and now a systems engineer, I decided to physically disconnect the power from the hw. opened the watch, disconnected 3 of the 4 connection points, the 4th requires you to remove the board which isn't necessary for this task. I left it there for a few mins, pushed the buttons to discharge any potential stored voltage and put it back together. recharged it and turned it on. So far its looking to be back at less than 2% disharge rate per hour. Getting back to what it was after the new Battery. I think adding to many watch face apps and testing out too many variables in those apps got something stuck in an on condition and reboots were not getting that unstuck. So, look for battery replacement videos on UA-cam and just disconnect the three connections on the board as you look at it when you get the back off. You'll need a special screw driver bit unfortunately, those come with new batteries.
Eaven this didnt work :/
Any new updates
Nice effort in making the video, but most of these sugestions just turn your smart warch into DUMB WATCH. i think anyone searching this topic is looking for an actual solution to an aging battery. Thanks though.
This doesn’t work, it has something to do with the samsung health app
Thank yooooooooou
mine cant make it 24hrs, i only had to charge my old gear s2 once a day when i was in the shower after work, galaxy s4 classic looses 40%-45% battery every 8hrs with only 10min heart rate, blood oxagen and sleep tracking on, no wifi no gps, no nfc, display on low, no extra apps, and very few notifications only about 10-15 a day and a all black watch face
and heres a kicker it looses the same amount wether sleep mode is on or off, which means theres some softwear issues causing exsesive wakes
turning off everthing is not a salution, if i could get 24hrs out of it id be happy
specs say 40hr and i new about the battery problems but i figured hell if it last as long as my gear s2 ill be happy
at this point the watch is a joke
Didn't work
Infxshus Rhythm bro, Have you tried all the ways showed in the video? Still did not work?🤔
