I've been watching tech videos for ages, but I really like his day in the life videos, they give a really good perspective on what it's like to have that device
I agree..It would also be good to see..especially if by using those functions anything drains the battery more..I would say that’s one reason why his battery health wasn’t low by the end..
Dude!!! This was a great video! The edits you made and how you took quick video clips of certain restaurants, buildings, etc... totally awesome man! I subbed and liked!

Great video, great review, loved the vlog-like approach! I'd just like to add - your "typical" day started and 1 pm, while for most people it's more like 8 or 9 am. In that case, the watch simply can't make it through 2 full days, not even close really, which really is a bummer. Especially when compared to the previous version, the regular Galaxy Watch 46 mm, which could last up to 3 full days with the same settings. I know this because I've owned both (currently rocking the Galaxy Watch3). Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the new Watch3, its design and size are just perfect! BUT it's a real shame that the battery life on it is so bad. Not much of an issue on regular days when you get the chance to charge it every night at home (if you don't use sleep tracking), but it's basically unusable for even the shortest weekend camping trips or similar - something I could easily do with my Galaxy Watch 46mm without any concerns. Just my 2 cents. Overall I love the new Galaxy Watch3, and for 90% of users out there it could easily be the perfect smartwatch.
The 1st video that I've watched from you was about the Watch Active 2, loved the way you did it, and same goes here, really enjoying the way you review and do real world testing of them, mad props!
Nicely done video. I had the original Galaxy watch ,if I had the Galaxy active 2 I probably wouldn't have switched. the original Galaxy watch has much better battery life, but the new Galaxy watch 3 has an outstanding aesthetics. I bought the watch for the new look and new health metrics that will be available soon....
🤔🤗my kids bring home some pretty interesting things...love my GWA2 gold...does everything the GW3 does ..less $$$$...the Fossil has the raised buttons on the side...bulky...🤣😂🤣

funny that in your watch active 2 review 11 months ago you also said you couldn't test activity tracking because you just had a surgery too. let us know if you're ok and stay safe! great review by the way. 😉
The Best Watch und Watchface i´ve ever had. Needs a bit tweaking in the Beginning especially with the Workouts (Reminders, Display always on) but then its near perfect. The best part is the Rotating Ring, so that you don´t need to use the Touchscreen that much. Love it.
It would be nice if you told us what the settings are in your watch. Goodnight mode, AoD, brightness, WiFi all make a big difference in battery life. Really good video!
Great review. Thanks. It made me appreciate my Active 2 which is very close to being as good as an Apple watch - better in some areas. Don't think I'll be upgrading until there's an Active 3.
Having to choose between Active 2 and watch 3 all I can say is I would choose the watch 3 because of 2 reasons: 1. Classic design. This is a personal preference, but I'm not the sporty-type-of-guy and still like to have some step measurements and distance. 2. eSIM is big for me. Not having to carry a phone while you run or do stuff and having everything on your watch is pretty nice. 3. BONUS. The rotating ring :D
I take mine off as soon as i'm done looking at my sleep tracker, by the time i'm ready to go out it's been charging for at least an hour. Also I chose the galaxy 3 because it looks more like a classical watch, many people tell me they didn't notice it's a smartwatch.
Great stuff! Has been wanting to replace my Huawei 2 watch for a long time. Just haven't found exactly what I wanted yet. Still going to wait for the new OnePlus watch which (hopefully) is coming out soon. if that doesn't impress me I think I'm going to go with the active 2 you mentioned at the end of the video. Thanks as always for helping me make good tech decisions.
Could u do this review using the phone and watch at same time. Answering calls by watch, music, messages notifications see if you can really leave your phone in the pocket most of the time

Very nice video. I like the background music 🎶 too. Could you do more on the differences between the active 2 and the watch 3 and how you have your screens are set up?
Would you mind telling us what phone you used to pair with the Galaxy Watch? I’ve read that some features on this watch only work with Samsung phones. Did you find this to be the case? And, of course, I’d much rather use Google Pay and Google Assistant than Samsung Pay and Bixby. Thanks!
I upgraded to the the Galaxy Watch 3 from my Active 2 just bc I recently bought my mom a Galaxy phone and galaxy buds and I thought why not let ber experience a smart Watch.. but the only reason to upgrade from tht Active 2 to the Watch 3 is the design and the physical rotating bezel but still both are great
Usually I like your real-world test videos, the typical smartphone usage you show is quite fair but this one I am left with a lot of questions since you didn't really start this test in the morning as you usually do, but instead at around mid day with 91% at around 2pm. And next day morning at 9am it was 50%. Did you not use any other smartwatch features or rather how was it setup the whole day apart from the active tracking you demoed.
I started with a full battery at 9am it just happened to be at 91% by the time I first checked it so it's the same as my phone videos. Hope that clarifies and helps!
Look I've never wanted smart watch , but when I do picked one I've tried galaxy active 2 and then amazfit trex in camo and I can say that trex killing it
Fantastic video once again. Love your reviews. Could you please review the Fitbit Sense and Versa 3 when they're out and also comparison of the Sense with the galaxy watch 3 please. Best wishes.
You didn't mention if you were using the 41mm or 45mm version or if you had the screen set to always on or not, both of those make a big difference in battery life.
So you can see in the video me raising to wake the screen so the AOD isn't on, and the bands I show are 22mm so it's the 45mm. Sorry though, I DEFINITELY should have specifically mentioned it though, I just forgot 🤦♂️Thanks!
GWA2 love it...the Fossil has the raised buttons on the side ..didn't like it...traded it in for my GWA2...44"... less bulky...does everything the SW3 does......

Good review. I just received the Galaxy 3 Titanium since it was $100 off at Samsung's website. It's my first galaxy watch and coming from fitbit versa, WOW! I totally love this thing. The only thing that would've sent this watch into Uber sensation is battery life. Fitbit gave me about 4 + days, and this one is 2 and change. If this was 4 + days, it would be life. Fresh video, nice review my friend, but, so far i feel even with all the improvements and features it's a lot of money for me at least, i bet some bundles and payment options will make it mainstream and affordable like carrier's plans or something, but here... Not the case

I loved mine too, until it quit working after one year, was warranted for not tracking steps and coming on with tilt. Then 3 months after they fixed it, same thing is happening again.
Got my GW3 yesterday, took it from the charger at 9pm(100%) after 24h still has 56%. If get two full days on one charge I will be happy, but honestly they should fit a bit bigger battery to this watch, a lot of people won't get GW3 because of battery, especially those who has experience with OGW with 4 days on one charge.
Try switching the always on display on . I got mine a week ago and i returned it day 3 . WHy? you may ask. With the aod on the battery lasts JUST 15 HOURS LIKE WTF SAMSUNG!! AOD is a MAJOR USECASE for me . I purchased the apple watch 5 the same day and for me now with the aod on, I am getting 28 hrs of battery which is good enough for me .
What a brilliant video thanks, I kept wondering when someone would think of a optimum time to charge sleep tracking phones. I’d do same charge while bathing and maybe in my afternoon nap time as I work split shifts, did you notice emails and messages self deleting as that was the problem I had on the active 2 with my one plus 7 phone?
Can someone please explain to me what is the point of getting a watch like this when you can get a Huawei GT 2e or GT 2 that has all the same fitness features and whose batteries last much, much longer. What else is a smartwatch good for except fitness?
Many reasons for people who travel to other countries, barometer, compass, mult time zones, access to email, etc etc and for others wanting to leave their smart phone at home when they work out, can take phone calls ..

The Galaxy Watch Active 2 is actually rated lower for battery life, if I recall correctly . . . in your experience, now that you've had your hands on both for a while, is this true? I have a Gear S3 Frontier, and up until very recently, I'd only charge every 3 days (which was awesome). I really don't want to go to something I have to charge daily, if I can help it.
