Strange that blood bikes are exempt from speed limited and signs in NI - they're just normal road users in the rest of the UK. No blue lights/sirens allowed.
It 's a built up area and the driver on the roundabout had already slowed to let me through. We only use blues and twos if the situation warrants it, but will always turn off the siren if we're in built up areas at night and it's safe to do so.
@@IslandShuttleUK blood bikes aren't exempt from the laws, you do Realise when he does blues runs he is still expected to do the speed limit, yield to give ways and stop at red lights. I completely think they should be exempt and just have 2 categories of blood bikers who can choose to pay for a higher level of training to use emergency blues. but I'm only stating law and the law is against anything good.
@@AntonyLoveless lucky, UK Health abs safety board won't allow it. Even proper crews are told not to use them unless absolutely necessary as it makes drivers unpredictable
I binge watch most of your videos its really fun.
That siren is pretty much my burglar alarm? Lol
Great stuff like your blue light run videos
Thanks for sharing. Reminds me of the bill sirens

Where does one get a rear-view mirror such as the one on your windscreen?

You ever gonna make videos again, your old typhoon vids and these videos are so entertaining.
Thanks mate. I don’t get time often, but have a few ideas lined up. Watch this space...
No siren approaching a roundabout? Why?

@@AntonyLoveless in Scotland we're taught different, lol. If anything, a built up area is more of a reason to use the siren.
is this ambulance or police
It’s blood
So you get to speed around with sirens like a god to drop something off... as a job... hmm interesting. No need to be police.
In Europe you would have broken something like a 100 laws with this video 😁. And I assume you have the right to have a special signal 🤭
This is in Europe! and it's a blood bike.
@@IslandShuttleUK please excuse me, it was an inappropriate joke. You do great job.

@@LeonUK In NI, we have been blue-light trained by the PSNI and have the same requirements and exemptions as they do when on blues and twos.
