Must be a bit of a novelty stopping at a red light. Big grin here!
Seriously, I admire your riding skills, a trained bike rider is something to behold. Mind you I was thinking on so many occasions during that run of the opportunity to be the "meat in someone's sandwich" as my instructor would say.

My question would be why has he still got his lights going after the run?, and why he ran one red light then turned them off . The lights should have been turned off when he got back on the bike.

@@nicogman8469 Blood bikers very rarely carry blood, if at all, it’s usually samples or medication, hence if you watch the video it’s small packages that are handed over. We have the Blood Transfusion Service that carries blood. Not all blood bikes have blue lights fitted because they have no exemption, so what the point?. There was a consultation a couple of years ago to see if they should be added to the list of those exempt, they haven’t appeared yet.

I have to ask why pathology specimens (looked like urine vials) even if it was blood for crossmatching is considered a blue light case. In my time in the NHS almost all specimens were carried by private hire vehicles, although this has almost stopped in my area with the centralisation of path services on the main hospital site instead of scattered across the city.

Great to see the old Deauvilles still working. No worries about reliability with them, they'll happily do more miles than some people's cars. If you saw one in London in the late 90's to mid 00's, it was always a courier or a copper. They're not fast, but they're narrow, smooth and stable at all speeds, so great in a busy town centre.

@@steve5772 I used to have a GPZ750 uni-trac it seemed to be a lot quicker on acceleration than the GSX1100 which I had owned two over the years and GPZ 500 both at the same time (wife would not let me have more) I really liked 500 because it was very agile and was able to keep up with my mates on Sundays, as I could keep my speed up on the corners. Don't ride anymore after being knock off the 500 by a council van when I was on my way to work. I seem to remember the Honda cx500 being popular with the couriers, mate had an American spec Bonny that was quick and handled great.

2:08 I had a police car behind me one night, and I was in the same situation as the car driver in this video. I did not know if it was safe for me to pull to the left as I thought that they would use the middle lane to pass me, after a couple of seconds, I pulled to the left for the police officer to give me a dirty look, and I tried showing that I thought that he would have passed me on the left, hence why I stayed on the right hand side. However, they stayed on my arse until I moved. Yet the bike here has under took because he had not moved, and that worried me a bit just in case he suddenly thought shit and pulled over to the left. You are very questionable at the end once more. You have the blues on and pass one red light, and then suddenly decided to turn them off and stopped at the second set of red lights. So you was not in an emergency situation. You kind of keep dropping yourself in the shit at the end of your videos, as I cannot see this being legal.

They don't undertake, if you have blue lights behind you, you just move over? They stay in the over taking Lane on dual carriage ways and motorways unless they are coming off. But if the middle lane was clear why was you in the far right lane? Should allways been in the far left lane unless over taking. Numpty in the vid is a good example other two lanes completely clear why is he even in the fast/over taking lane. 3rd lane is mainly designed to be empty and used mainly for emergency vehicles.
