Ok. It's official. I'm impressed! Not only is this a beautiful pattern, but she explained it so well! Looking forward to more of her work. Thank you!!!
I have Multiple Sclerosis and my right hand is now greatly affected. When I cannot crochet traditionally I can loom knit. I am very happy to have found these tutorials. I have spent this year making afghans, throws, scarves and lapghans to donate. Now I can add socks. We have a Christmas giveaway day where folks who cannot afford to buy a gift can come and and avail themselves of the donations. I'm sure they will enjoy having these beautiful socks to give at Christmas to their loved ones. Thank you for these tutorials. I'm already thinking of using this video for next year's giveaway. I see just how many more gifts I can make even with limited hand function. You have solved a great worrisome problem for me. 💛 God bless you. ✝️
Thank you!! My grandmother used to give us slippers or socks, hats/tams and scarves each year made from her knitting and crotchet hobby. We really looked forward to them. She had 11 kids and a brood of grands. We would hope guess the colors we would get. You have inspired me to carry on the tradition. Thank you so much!
I can proudly say that I just finished off my first ever home made knitted sock without knowing how to knit. Thank you very much for the lesson. Have a great day.
Hello first of all I want to say thank you.for your video and for how you explained ,with detail and step by step so slowly and clear . I have been making socks myself for years and you gave me a perfect idea for me not to have a hole on the heel and to create the heel closed.your sock was Beautiful.
Great tutorial! Shows every step and all the details just like a lesson should. So many people skip details and don't show every step "assuming" people know what to do; and not everybody does. Anybody could follow along and pause as needed to create something beautiful.
I L💖VE L💖VE L💖VE THIS!! I was just on the verge of ordering a $1300 sock knitting machine but I have these looms and don't have to spend that money!! I'm SOOO excited!! I have never seen anyone thread their yarn onto their needle like that. How GENIUS!! Now I won't split and fray 12 inches of my yarn trying to thread it. Thank u SO much for this video!! 😍
Thanks for taking the time to make this video. I just finished making my first pair of socks thanks to you and they are for a nursing home resident who needs it. You are a great teacher!
Finally!! A video that explains in detail how to loom a sock!! Been making hats for years to donate, now I feel it's time to get some socks out there. Thank you for a fantastic and understandable tutorial.
I am 28 and love to knit and crochet in my free time. I am so glad I found this video for knit socks. Guess it is time to go pull out my round knitting loom and get busy.
this lady is so easy to follow.....great demonstrator.....thank you so much for these videos. I am in Kitchener Ontario Canada >> just as a matter of interest to see how far these videos go.
Thank you for making this video. Making these socks now. Never thought to put 3 rows on look before knitting. Never too old to learn. Thank you again.😁😁
I love your tutorials!! Not only are your nails absolutely beautiful, you can use them as a built in hook when connecting the different yarns for the cuff of the sock! Thank you.
I live here in Oz and I have only just discovered this craft toys lady is very good I like the way she shows you how to do it very easy to follow as I an a visual Lerner as well , I also follow another lady on you tube who is also just as good is looma hat.
Thankyou so much for the tutorial.I have all sizes of these round knitter for a long time,I have made scarves with those, now I will make socks with your tutorial. Thanks again.
I Love your Video. You explain everything so well it is really nice. I am visually impaired and I can follow this video so easily because you not only show us how to do it you also explain it. I have watched several videos and yours are the best by far! Thank you so very much.
Thank you for the video. I am also visual also. I think you are very good I love how slow you talk I well you show things. I do have one problem that's why I really like to watch what you do when I use the loom I am not sure how to get my tension that it's not too tired or not too loose so watching this video help me to see that how you wrap it around the pegs.
Very good tutorial. Thanks for sharing your talent with us. A pity some people who comment are unable to keep their unnecessary thoughts to themselves. Obviously feel the need to bring other people down with them because their life is miserable.
Awesome video. Thanks for sharing. Before this video, I only knew how to make a tube. Now, I can make a sock, and I've learned how to tie it off the right way. :D
Thank you so much, your video is great. I have just made my first pair of socks & they look awesome. The only thing is that all my family & friends now want a pair LOL CHEERS, have a great day
Your favorite sport team socks! You may now have started a new Super Bowl go team socks. I love socks, and I love these. Another great tutorial. Go Buc's! I can only wish for next year. But no matter what team plays it is so exciting. I am so glad I rooted for Seattle. I felt very bad for the other team. :-((((((
Hello there americanknitter, ur video is great, I've viewed a lot of socks looming & I like ur the best because of the way u go slow & show it. I was wondering u use three loops around the pegs instead of two is that a good way to use it for a single yarn. I also was wondering that using only on strand of yarn is that good. Because I use two strand of yarn for medium four ply worsted yarn. I haven't tried a single stranded one yet. Because I heard that it shows lots of holes in the projects. Thanks again for ur wonderful videos'.......I love ur nails by the way...... :)
I thought this was a great tutorial! thank you so much for sharing! I appreciate it!!!! I'm going to try this as soon as I hit up Michaels and get some yarn!(:
Your tutorial are so thorough and easy to understand ....thank you so much for these tutorials ...hope you keep them coming ..will you be doing a triangle shawl at any time?
Could you please explain to me how you changed the heel? I'm just wondering if your method might be a little bit better than the method she shows in the video. Thank you and have a great day.
To all the people that talked about our teachers nails grow up and get a life. She was nice enough to give us some of her time for free.If you don't have anything nice to say about anything then don't say anything at all.
Ann Bayes I think her nails are gorgeous. I'll never have those and if I did I'd never figure out how to even button my coat, lol. Believe me I tried it with press on nails once, wearing them for a fancy do. Hubby had to button up my coat for me. I think if you can wear lovely manicured nails like hers they really help actually to show up the yarn even clearer in the video and they just plain look lovely. Power to anyone who can function with longer nails, they elongate the fingers and make the hand look elegant, I think. :)
Thank you very very very much I finally knitted something. Everything was great except the holes in the heel but I patched that up and it almost looks just fine! But overall this video gets a rate of 1000000000. Thanks
Thank you for this video. I am a beginner and just wondering why the heal has holes at the wrap and turn points and if they can be avoided. Also can you recommend another video with a different heal? Sr. Peace
Try pam loomer . Same idea and no holes. I think I will do pams heel just to make sure. She is a sweet girl doing this video. Thank you for the video Hope you like the advice for improvements some of us gave.
What size yarn do you use? What amount do you need to complete the pair? Thanks for an easy to understand video. I really think I can do this. Thanks again.
It's a beautiful product.Great as personal gifts.I was wondering if these items can be cost effective if you wanted to sell them.I thlught maybe you could auction them on E Bay start the bidding at a low cost you could live with and then see what happens.
Wow. So glad i found these videos. I had these knitting tools for ages and never used them. Now i will have lots fun. Question how can u make a sock but for a 3 year old. Do i have to skup 2 or one .
I love this tutorial. I made the mistake of using a Boye Loom vs knifty knitter so mines didnt come out right because the number of pegs are different. Will try it again in the future.
Love this video, very good instruction. I have a question....when doing the heel portion, it looked like when you got down to the wrap 4 then go back to wrap 4 from left to right and then you wrapped 2 to the left, did you wrap 2 to the right before increasing to 4?
Love this video! Love my socks! But is there anyway to make it tighter just under the cuff? Mine are quite loose and sllip down my ankle. any tips? Thanks 😊
It's unique way and you have explained very nice, thanks.what is name of the needle with which you are lifting the pegs so easily. Can I get it from Amazon?

Thank you! I've made a few pairs of the socks myself and couldn't figure out if I was doing something wrong even though I have followed the instructions to a tee. I have managed to just fix it up but she really should have mentioned that!
Dear Americanknitter, I love your video! Please, help me with one question: how do you count how many pegs to use for a heel? Say, I have size 7 - how many pegs shall I use? Is there a universal formula? Thank you so much!
Hi, I just wanted to ask you. When you get down to 2 pegs on the heel part do you only wrap and pick in one direction and not back again the other way before you jump to 4 pegs? (You only showed wrap & pick in 1 direction for 2 pegs in the video) Also if I used 1 colour of yarn only when I get to the heal can I just continue to wrap & pick the 10 pegs or do I have to cut the yarn the same as in your video? Thank you!
The socks look great on the video, but I haven't managed to get that far yet...always the optimist. I started off well and then around row 25 I found I had progressively long loops of wool which I could pull through at the next peg, but had to watch out that the loop actually stayed on the inside of the loom. I have no idea what I am doing wrong, but if you have a tip it would be very welcome. I was confused at the the beginning after the first 3 rows. You said just carry until you get to row 30 and then.... I would have liked to see row 4 too. Maybe I missed something there. Now I am not sure if I can save the day or if I have to start again. I would really appreiate some help if someone has a good idea. Arthur Barton

Plus her nails came in handy when she was making the cuff-Made it easy to scoop the right loops
Very well put. This young woman explains things very clearly.
I love this. I can follow you so easily and you are very helpful. Thank you so much!
Thank you very very very much I finally knitted something. Everything was great except the holes in the heel but I patched that up and it almost looks just fine! But overall this video gets a rate of 1000000000. Thanks

Wow. So glad i found these videos. I had these knitting tools for ages and never used them. Now i will have lots fun. Question how can u make a sock but for a 3 year old. Do i have to skup 2 or one .
This is fantasic I am a Beginner, after you did the first 3 rows then took one row over do you now just do one row at a time and pick over?
Thank you, love the video and your instructions.
Looking forward to making my own! Thank you
great tutorial! I am going to try this out!!!
Thank you , and would you have a video to show how to knit a throw blanket on a round (the large) loom ? regards
I so appreciate these videos, have learned alot, Thank You
Great video! !! Very easy to follow and understand. I can work alone side of it without any problems!! Yeah :)
Great tutorial!!! I can't wait to try it out!
Очень симпатичные носочки ! У Вас здорово получается . Лайк !
I love this tutorial. I made the mistake of using a Boye Loom vs knifty knitter so mines didnt come out right because the number of pegs are different. Will try it again in the future.
I used the boyle as well and had no issues... the smallest boyle loom in the 4pk kit is 24 pegs.
Muito obrigada! Aprendi fazer e ficou linda esta meia!
Love it!! Thank you for the help!! I've modified it to include gloves and leggings!!!
Wow that's awesome and amazing love your talent
Cool I am going try it this way first time knitting
On the heel when you get down to to pegs you only wrap once? You don't wrap back like on all the other decreases?
Amazing , very beautifully u taught. Great
I like the video it was very helpful thanks.
i recently began loom knitting and so far i made a hat for myself and now the kids are getting involved. its cheap and easy way for family time instead of the usual xbox and t.v. but i put up with the jokes and the usual daaaaaad your a guy. but when i made my first hat.. they were all on board. i do have a issue identifying the type and size of yarn..to you so if you can tell me what you used.. i would love to make a terrible towel scarf and socks in steelers colors.. plus my hat is shedding badly.. now every one at work wants one cause its good and heavy and warm..
I have used this pattern for same coloured socks and mixed. It does not matter how many colours you use as long as you follow the pattern, You can use 2 strands of yarn for added thickness, basically her pattern is a guide for you to alter as and when you like. The only problem with this pattern which she does not mention is you get big holes at the corner of the heel section and you have to go back and fix them, otherwise all is good.
Thank you! I've made a few pairs of the socks myself and couldn't figure out if I was doing something wrong even though I have followed the instructions to a tee. I have managed to just fix it up but she really should have mentioned that!
I found you by accident! I bought looms but then my daughter didn't have time to show
me. Thanks for being here ,maybe I can learn how !
Dear Americanknitter, I love your video! Please, help me with one question: how do you count how many pegs to use for a heel? Say, I have size 7 - how many pegs shall I use? Is there a universal formula? Thank you so much!
Wow you wrote your comment as a letter.
Thank you!
I like it! it´s fantastic. Thank you
Very good Like how you go step by step. helpful
How do you close the holes in the heels?
