Hi Tuteate. I love your work that you do on the loom! I love this hat so pretty ! Just in time for the holidays, I will make and give as gifts. Merry Christmas and God bless
the way you cast on is by far the easiest way to do it! instead of e-wrapping all the way around then doing it again, just doing 2 wraps on each peg takes care of it! Love it Thank you!!
^_^ Thank you for your feedback
Yes! I feel like it went by and worked up way faster than the regular beginner way.
Thanks for the video. I’ll be trying this soon. By the way, the knot you used to connect two lengths of yarn is called the square knot, or less commonly, the reef knot. As a Boy Scout and climbing and rappelling instructor who happens to enjoy making beanies, I recommend using the sheet bend to connect two lengths of yarn. It is stronger than the square knot and can be used to connect two different sizes together as well, if desired. Thanks again!
This is one GREAT tutorial - I understand some much more than I did with just printed instructions - THANK YOU!
Thank you for your feedback Margaret! :)
I love this pattern. I first was going to do it but then did a much more simplier one because I was loom knitting for the first time and decided that I needed to stick to only knit and not switch back and forth between knit and purl and just get use to knitting first. I am going to make a friend a hat and want it to have a pattern now. So here I go now that I know how to loom knit now.😊
Thank you so VERY much for this brilliant tutorial! It is clear, well lit, and peaceful. I am excited to try this new pattern. I just finished another hat from one of your other tutorial videos, and it came out beautifully. I am so grateful to you for sharing! :)
Thank you for this. I’ve only made a pair of socks before. This tutorial was brilliant. I made this for hubby and loves it huge thank you. Off to find something else to make.
Thank you for making an English version of this video just started to loom and looking for project to do and most of the cool patterns are in another language which makes it difficult to do so thanks again 😊
You're welcome! 😊Hope you enjoy it!

@@Tuteate I will. Trying to get baby shower stuff out of the way lol
Quick question is there any other sizes you can do this with?
Hi Paula! Yes, you can use the 36-peg loom for teenagers and the 31 peg loom for children, for example. Here you will find the written instructions of the zigzag pattern and suggestions on how to adapt the pattern to other looms: www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/easy-zigzag-hat
Here you will find a chart, from GoodKnitKisses, showing the suggested hat heights: i1.wp.com/www.goodknitkisses.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/Hat-Chart.jpg

Thanks for making this so simple. I was very intimidated by by doing this because I'd seen it before and it seemed so hard that I never thought I'd get it. Once again thank you very much for your help.
Thank you Uzziah! So glad to know this video tutorial was helpful for you :)
So happy that You are back, looking forward to many tutorials on stuff for babies, kids and adults and maybe interior designs. Remember to write how much yarn is used or need for the tutorial.. I can see bulky yarn but how much in meters and gram
Thank you!

Thank you for the gift and Welcome back!!!!!
Thank you Beth! ^_^ So glad to know you "found the gift"! It's my first time writting pattern instructions, any feedback will be very welcome :)
So, I am a pass time crocheter, I love to crochet to relax and not really count. The loom is good for that. But with this pattern we count every 8 rows then switch. Could you do a short and show us how to count these rows. I know it seems so simple to just see the stitches but I'm not sure I'm counting them correctly, seeing as some of the stitches over lap in a criss-cross. Also, does the first row after the brim join,, the first knit 2 purl 2 row, does that count as the row 1, in the 1-8. Or you start counting after that. I've lost it in the brim . Lol. Thanks. So far I loving learning all these new ways to use the loom!!
I love this pattern. Thank you for the new video and keep up the great work😊😊.
I'm soo hapoy!!
Thank you so much for your kind words, Susan! ^_^
@@Tuteate I've tried to use the code to get this pattern and it says it's invalid 😥

Tuteate!! So glad to see that you are back. I have missed your wonderful videos!! This is an awesome video and I can't wait to get my loom out and try it!! I have not used my loom since you were gone. Yay!!
Awww, thank you so much for your kind words! I hope you enjoy this project! It feels great to be loom knitting again, you'll see! ^_^
Thank you for trying your time looming
Nice! It's beautiful! 🌟🌟🌟
Thank you so much Sandra
@@Tuteate , talent has to be saluted! This is also so relaxing to watch! 💙🌟🌹💙🌟🌹💙
Merci beaucoup pour le tuto.j’ai quand même recommencé 2 fois parce que la torsade n’apparaissait pas.manque de concentration de ma part!!
I followed the whole tutorial exactly as you did it. It did not come out in a spiral or the zig zag pattern. Mine is in a checkerboard style. What went wrong?
I found out I used a 36 peg loom! Found the directions for that below. Worked great Thanks🤗
You have the best videos!
Can this be done on a 36 peg loom?
Hi! Yes, on a 36-peg loom you can work repeating "Knit 3 - Purl 2" for 10 rounds in one direction and "Purl 2 - Knit 3" for 10 rounds in the opposite direction. You can find this project's written pattern, including all the written instructions and useful extra information, available in English and Spanish here: www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/easy-zigzag-hat
@Anna Parris I have the same question.
Omg I love this! I love how easy you make these patterns work! Keep making them! Please!
Finally you’re back 😍😁.. Welcome back and I am so glad to watch and do the videos you are posting, the new music is beautiful. I can’t wait to do this gorgeous hat , May God bless you and your family 🙏🏼🧡
Thank you so much sweetheart!!! I'm so glad to "see" you again, too! And happy to know you liked the new video!
I love your videos and the fact that you include written instructions...that's the way I learn! Would it be possible for you to do a 10 stitch blanket video? I realize there are copyright issues. I just cant find a video that takes it far enough along. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Sheila! Thank you! ^_^ Long time ago I asked Franky Brown for her permission on sharing a 10 stitch blanket related video and she said yes, so actually this is a pending project I have!
Ugh got half way through my hat and noticed there was no pattern or spiral! Turns out this only works on ODD number of pegs unless you do knit 3 purl 3! Ugh 😑 debating if I should start over or finish this hat. I’m using 50 dollar yarn a ball. Alpaca bulky hand woven and hand dyed
Same lol I was like....um wait
The same thing happened to me 🙄
I have undone mine 3 times. Bought the pattern too. Went in the bin tonight!!
I'm wanting to make this on a smaller loom it's 38 pegs will it work???
I was wondering that, makes sense. 3 and 3 works for 36 pegs? Prolly not since that's still even...
Welcome back! So wonderful to see this in my feed today!
Thank you!!! Glad to appear on your feed! ^_^
Hi! Thank you for sharing this. I’m gonna try to make one. I just have one question: what video editor did you use to make this video. I’m a kinder teacher, so I’m looking for all the resources out there. Thank you.
Gracias, beautiful tutorial
Thank you so much! ^_^
Beautiful ❤👏👏👏👏
Thank you so much! :)
I really like your teaching thank so much I will practice this tomorrow for my baby
Thank you :) I'll love to see your result! Just make sure you use a loom with a number of pegs multiple of 4+1
Amazing video thanks a lot
Thank you! ^_^
Me gustó la puntada
Thanks
I have a maroon yarn I would like to try this with.. I’m wondering if I should attempt it-the yarn weight is 4 . I wonder if using that weight yarn would ruin the project entirely…
Thoughts?
Glad to see you back!! Missed you! Would this be possible on a 40-peg loom?? TIA!
Thank you :) On a 40-peg loom work repeating "E-wrap Knit 1, Purl 2" for 6 rounds in one direction and then "Purl 2, EWK 1" for 6 rounds to the opposite direction. More info and details here: www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/easy-zigzag-hat
Very cute!!
Thank you Melissa! ^_^
Beautiful
Thank you Laura!!
Muy priti
Hey there friend I love your work and learning new patterns/ stitches but I noticed that your left handed is it the same in both directions? I'm wondering if it will make a difference in my work ?
Welcome back!
Thank you so much Diana! ^_^
