Martin's voice is pretty shot. Get Glenn Hughes in and do another perfect Seventh Star type record. Bonus: no bass player needed. Glenn already a monster bassist

The man is one of those handful of guitarists who makes me want to immediately grab my guitar and join in the fun. His ability to compose epic guitar based riffage is unmatched imo. Thus, as a guitarist, I consider Tony, along with EVH (my eyes mist up and feel a lump in my throat merely typing those those letters, rest in peace Eddie), Jimi, SRV, and a few others to be guitar gods... Deified if you will ;) Tony's place in the Guitar God pantheon is secure. He already has friends among them. (To be fair, Tony would likely balk at the guitar god label, but come on ... How many of us players has he influenced?!?!?)
No matter how much time has passed, your music is never dated, Tony. You always keep it fresh while being faithful to what makes you the best! You rock!
Man i love Tonys playing style, its not flashy but its so damn powerful and effective. Sometimes i feel less is more, and i feel that with Tony, hes not a "filler" guitarist, every note has its place and meaning for the next. Hes just a magical artist.

Every single reactor to Black Sabbath, Judas Priest and Iron Maiden loves them, not so much for Thrash, Doom, Death etc that came after and had to prove they were louder, faster and more abrasive. Not my cup of tea, either.
I can't express my feelings... It's such a joy to see and hear him. He soundtracked my whole life...from my childhood in the 70's and 80's until now...God bless you dear Tony. Greetings from Germany

Truly a Legend.. i was 13 when i discovered Sabbath 43 years later i have Iommi s riffs etched upon my soul, Bill's crazy cowboy snaps , Geezer with such a winning smile slammin the best bass lines ever.. Oz years and Ian Gillian era .. will go with me when i rest !
My favorite guitar player hands down. I've only really listen to him on sabbath with Ozzy ....for years on end now.....I got a lot of catching up to do. Iommi changed the way the guitar would be played forever.
There are quite a few guitarists who are as good as Tony. His riffs are legendary, and in my opinion, his astounding talent is the element which made him something himself for a name when Black Sabbath was in full swing. And that makes me think about what people nowadays say on musicians from the last millennium: "if a musician wanted to be successful, he/she had to be talented."
It was such a massive blow to lose Ronnie James Dio. But knowing that Tony Iommi is still at the top of his game makes the world feel a little more sane.

@@Castrofate No he can't. I saw him at a festival and he definitely couldn't sing any of Black Sabbath stuff like he used to. He can't hit the high notes anymore and the backing band were downtuned to accommodate his voice.

Tony’s approach to making music, perhaps a reflection of his heritage😜, is much like the italians approach to cooking. Not a lot of ingredients, but the few he uses are of very high quality. Great track!🤘🏻

And even if it was only Sleep it would be enough since it's not a race or competition but a question of quality. It's like these guys have thousands of children all over the world. And those children are having children and grand children. Greece's Acid Mammoth is a father and son plus one.
